This is the first time I've been back since circa 2018. Ambiance: pretty cluttered in the back of the dining room but the tables were tidy (but not spotless). Service: polite and friendly. We were the only patrons there for a late-ish dinner, 7pm. It took a little over 5 minutes to get our orders of 2 pizza slices. We were served our bottled soft drinks immediately. Food: prices were super cheap and reasonable. For the one slice Hawaiian and one slice New York pizza plus 2 bottles soft drinks the total came out to something like $15.52 including tax. Cons: slice is wayyyyyyy smaller than what it used to be, but still a decent size. (It used to be maybe 3x bigger). Pros: for flavor I would give a 3.5/5 and texture I would give a 4/5. My boyfriend said he'd give it a 4/5 for both. Overall score: 4/5 but probably because my boyfriend gave it a higher score and I'm factoring that in LOL. read more

I ordered a chicken pizza from this place today, and what the hell did you guys serve me? The chicken smelled rotten, tasted disgusting, and looked like it had gone bad. Zero stars if possible! Ordered the family meal deal. The spaghetti smelled rancid and the meatballs definitely were! The pizza was terribly made with gloppy sauce all over and very few pepperoni on dough that tasted like it was comprised of old scrap dough. The salad was lettuce, cheese, onion, tomato, and croutons, it was terrible! The bread even was poorly made and felt like it had been microwaved too long with very hard ends. I was harassed & profiled by this cashier. I was accused of being under age after providing two forms of valid ID. I was repeatedly questioned on my age and birthdate. He said I looked like a woman on my Wisconsin ID and laughed. I asked to speak to management and he refused. A cashier should know that a valid out-of-state ID showing someone over 21 is means to purchase tobacco. It does not need to be from California. Owner and cashiers are petty. Admonished over a prior transaction initially told by the owner was good. Then upon returning was told in an angry, condescending attitude by the owner that I had been 10 cents short. I offered ten cents but he declined. His afternoon help provided incorrect change and when asked for correct change, became angry and said I owed an additional dollar. The afternoon help became so angry that he told me not to come back. I haven't been here in over 5 years. I like that they have many options and the pizza isn't bad. However, the service is horrible if you order there. It was super hard to find basic pasta with marinara close to where we were staying. That's how I ended up at this hole in the wall. Not a bad happenstance at all! Worst customer service today! It looks like they may be under new management because after over 20+years of going here this is the first time I ever experienced the absolute worst service ever. The men that were there were super degrading and very rude!! Ordered for pickup through DoorDash and was super excited because so many people rave about this hidden gem. Ordered a 16" pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad. Upon entry, there was someone working behind the counter. A few minutes later, another customer walked in and was instantly greeted. Why was I not greeted? He told the worker that l was next and then he asked me if I was there for a DoorDash and I told him yes it was a DoorDash pickup. Minus one star for that. My dad likes ordering their pizza because it's one of the closer pizza shops to where we live and why not support small business? They were known for their super huge pizzas and I remember ordering by the slice way back when. From what I remember, they would heat up the slices and it was pretty chill. When my dad craved pepperoni pizza we just get it from here. He orders a Pepperoni Pizza and either gets a small box of breadsticks or Garlic cheese bread. I enjoyed the Garlic cheese bread as opposed to the breadsticks. The breadsticks are good with marinara sauce and fresh. The garlic cheese bread is covered with cheese and the garlic isn't too strong. As for their pizza, the crust isn't too heavy and not too dry even a day after.
