Attached to the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton, the attached restaurant has the normal hotel fare for breakfast and dinner. Standard breakfast eggs/sausage was well cooked, but the prices were definitely on the higher side for the quantity/portion of food as well. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Staff is friendly. Ambiance is standard hotel restaurant dining. Plenty of parking available. If you're staying at the hotel, it's convenient and helpful to have something readily available. read more

Stopping back for breakfast after a great stay at the Double Tree connected to the restaurant. I did a rate to include breakfast. Since I arrived in the evening last night, I came here for dinner. In both cases, due to the lack of foot traffic, there's no dedicated host role, the serving staff has to juggle their other duties along with telling folks if they can seat themselves or wait, when it was crowded outside -- as I experienced last night. Reminds me of a Hawaiian experience, but I needed time to slow down and ease into their style. If you're in a hurray, something fast food near by is likely going to address your attitude, but not your nutritional needs. For dinner, I ordered the shrimp and scallop on pasta. Very tasty, but for the price, it was not fourth coming with seafood quantity and the flat noodles were a bit "soggy" if that makes sense. Turned out to be enough food and the sauce was very good. I abandoned the remainder of the posts and treated myself to an affogato as an alternate carb source. The outside seating was busy because they had live entertainment, which attracted a number of locals. My manhattan was well balanced and the band was great instrumentalists. The keys was a bit higher than my humming would like and the two singing strummers were accurate enough, but this is not a review of the band. Except! The drummer (younger fellow) was amazing and perfect reproductions of the massive number of familiar songs from the '50s, '60s, '70s and beginning of the '80s - just what this boomer could appreciate and appraise the accuracy of the covers. Now I'm sitting down for breakfast with French Toast, Ham and Eggs. I added a Peach Nectar for my fruit side and it is a perfect complement to the meal. Certainly, if you're at the DoubleTree and don't have a sense of urgency, it's a great restaurant, bar, weekend entertainment spot. I don't give it a full 5 for the disappointment with the pasta dish, but others I chatted with suggested the Steak is great. To start off, this restaurant is right at double tree and the ambiance and service was amazing! The place and the views and cleanliness was definitely a 10/10 so I wanted to point that out. As for the food, the appetizers were delicious! The truffle fries were really good along with the calamari (forgot to take a pic). The wings believe it or not were very salty, and the steak was very bland and actually cold when I got it.. the pasta my mom and brother got was so flavorless, the curry pasta. This place is a more pricey side and the chef always changes up the menu over time. I met him and he is awesome. He loves the critique so he knows what to change. We found the restaurant by using Yelp. My wife said it was my son's choice where to go eat and he decided on burgers. We were in town for the half marathon the next day. My wife and I shared a burger and my son had the spaghetti. We shared the chicken wings. The wings weren't salted and the crust was thin and crispy. My son enjoyed the truffle fries. The olive/garlic/oil spread for the bread was delicious. Obviously, we enjoyed the meal! The service was great. I think our server's name was Patricia. She was friendly and fast. The service here was great as the waitresses were very friendly. We were seated very quickly and we decided on what we wanted to order. My wife got the Healthy Start, wish included scrambled eggs, fresh strawberries, country potatoes, and toast. I opted for the Denver omelette, which included ham, green onions, red sweet peppers, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. The Omelette also comes with country potatoes and toast. This restaurant also has Tabasco and Cholula upon request. My wife enjoyed her breakfast and I thought it was decent. We both thought the country potatoes were just okay because they were on the drier side. Overall, this restaurant is a decent place to get some breakfast, especially if you're staying at the hotel. read more

We went for Karaoke night which is every Thursday. They have a nice shaded outdoor dining area with a stage. The server (Angie) was great and let us take our time and chill out. No rush. We had come from wine tasting g in Napa via Uber. It is part of the Double Tree in and you walk through the lobby to get to it. We weren't too hungry so we opted for some appetizers to share. We got the chicken wings, calamari and shrimp brechutta. All were delicious! We also opened a bottle of wine we had purchased from one of the tastings. The karaoke host was great. What can I say other than lesson learned...I'll wait at least a day before posting a review so as not to post in anger. We really want to support local business and the calamari was memorable enough for us to cave and give this place another shot. I'm glad we did. We had a different server this time and he was extremely attentive to us, enough that we felt we should update our review. We had the calamari (again!), burger, and capellini with prawns. The calamari is one of the best we've ever had...the fried lemon slices and dipping sauce are pretty amazing. Burger was well seasoned, with tasty fried onions rings. The capellini was absolutely delicious, I would be tempted to order it every visit. We are happy to add this to our weekly date night rotation. read more

The food itself was very mediocre--I didn't even finish my plate. The only bright spot was the great customer service, but unfortunately, that didn't make up for the lackluster meal. Oh Marina! You provided excellent customer service and can't thank you enough. My friend and I went here on a Saturday, Labor Day weekend, and the restaurant was not too busy at all. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the man made lagoon lake. The view was nice, with the water fall sound in the background. After getting our birthday spa treatment next door, this restaurant was readily available to feed two hungry girls. This is what we had ordered: - Beet Salad: VERY yummy! The beet salad had both yellow and purple beets with mixed greens, walnuts, and a vinaigrette. - Truffle Fries: regular French fries with truffle oil and truffle shavings with a side of ketchup. - Steak Sandwich with fries: medium steak accompanied with French roll, au jus sauce, and regular French fries - Chicken Sandwich with fries: grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese shavings, accompanied with a French roll. Our waitress, Marina, was excellent! Always checking up on us, making sure we were good, and gave us a treat (chocolate chip cookie) with the bill at the end, which was a surprise! Food was great! My two favorites are the steak sandwich and the beet salad. The grilled chicken was a little dry and the truffle fries could've had more truffle taste. Overall, I'd definitely come back and try more food entrees. The food can be a little pricey, but I think it's because it's the only restaurant located in the hotel. My sister and I showed up early for spa services next door, so we decided to have breakfast while we waited. We love the Doubletree and have stayed here many times on our trips up to Napa. The place was not crowded and we sat at the bar, yet service was slow. After sitting for a few minutes, we had to ask to see a menu and then again ask if we can order. I guess most people get a free buffet here, so they serve themselves. We ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict, side of fruit, coffee and a mimosa. The mimosa was lacking champagne, which had to ask for a little more. I have never asked for more champagne ever and felt uncomfortable asking the bartender as she glared at my request. I don't mind paying $10 for a mimosa, but not a small glass of OJ. The food was good otherwise. We went to our spa service and decided to stop back in for lunch while we waited for my mom and aunt to finish their service. We sat at a window table and ordered a couple glasses of wine and a cheese plate. All was going very well, we loved the quality of the cheese plate and the wine. We mentioned that we were waiting for my mom and aunt to join us for lunch. After about 15 minutes into our lunch, the waitress (same bartender) said the kitchen is closing. We were shocked, it was only 1:30 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon, prime time lunch hours. When we asked why she never mentioned this earlier, she said we always close at this time. Well it would have been nice to know before we ordered. It's unfortunate, the food here was good but the service needs work. Wife booked Mother's Day brunch here. We arrive and the hostess tells us they had "overbooked" yet many tables were empty. Then they try to seat us 5 at a table of 4 - that's not going to work. We had asked and reserved patio seating. Hostess tells us again they overbooked, but all the patio seats are empty. I talk with the front desk clerk who tells me the manager is off until noon. Then the hostess tells me they had a cancellation - lady you couldn't pay me to eat here. We left and found another place that wasn't as incompetent. read more

A fantastic restaurant and bar attached to the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in American Canyon. The dinner items are fantastic and good value for money. The food is freshly prepared and compares well with other restaurants in the area. The most convenient future about this restaurant is that it is On the grounds of the hotel so people who don't really want to go out can stay in and have a great dinner. We also found out that the restaurant actually uses the fruit and vegetable growing on the property in their dishes. The calamari was actually up a decent enough quality for an area that isn't on the water. The hamburger was fantastic and so was the pork chops. read more
