At the event, they have photos with Santa, gingerbread cookie decorating, gingerbread ornament decorating, face painting, a bubble station, a hot cocoa station, and live music. All the volunteers were kind and welcoming. The ambiance is festive and fun! It was quite busy when they first opened with all the little ones trying to get a picture with Santa before their nap time. It was less crowded by 1pm. Would recommend stopping by if you're around!

It was a time our life was disrupted and things were very hard for my son. He loves art and we tried 29PCC in hopes it would bring him joy and it brought us so much more. We are now living much farther away but make the 1.5 hr trip back for art class when we can. Just last night my son said, "Mommy, I miss Ms. Gretchen!" And I figured it was time to leave a review! Ms. Gretchen has a beautiful way of letting him be him, fully. My son is level 1 autistic, plus very shy at times because of lack of socialization due to a rare disease that keeps him in the house a lot. But when with Ms. Gretchen, none of behaviors are challenging, none of his behaviors need to be adapted - she is so loving and accepting in a way that allows him to feel cared for amd safe. To love and care from a distance in the way that she does is such a strong quiet power and we are grateful to know and to have the opportunity to continue returning to 29 Palms Creative Center. Cheryl and Bobby were not only fantastic hosts but also an amazing addition to the celebration. Before we arrived, Cheryl and I stayed in constant communication gathering all our individual preferences, preparing us for the weather, and overall providing us with some helpful tips to make the weekend super special. Their home is immaculate, filled with fun activities, remarkable views, and delicious food! Cheryl and Bobby made us feel right at home with their genuine and upbeat personalities. We immediately nestled in to the second level where we began serving drinks at the Tiki bar, taking turns in the ULTIMATE massage chair, while the boys played a game of pool and the girls had a photoshoot outside. At the end of the night, I was lured upstairs for the biggest surprise of my life!!! Rose petals leading out to the lit up gazebo with stunning mountains in the background I found my boyfriend on one knee. After an instant "YES - PUT THE RING ON" I found our friends and hosts filming the whole thing for our forever memories. As if it couldn't get any better - Cheryl prepared a beautiful homemade dinner for us to enjoy. And Finally we ended the night with Top Gun and dessert in the movie theater. AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE.
