We had paid the extra $40 or so to get a room on the second floor and to our surprise, the double queen room came with a nice natural spring tub and was very spacious. The pools are open late with the back part closing at midnight while the main pool and hot spas are always open. We were able to go to the pools late at night and early in the morning and it was nice to have the room right there. We saw a few people who just got the day spa passes asking about the rooms and expressing regret that they hadn't just booked rooms here. Everything was really nice including the staff and service when we ordered food and drinks near the poolside. The skyline is beautiful and to be there on July 4th, we could see the fireworks in various parts of the sky. There is plenty of parking but it is a little odd of a location as it is mainly in a residential neighborhood with a few options for food. But they maintain the property well and it was a beautiful stay at a reasonable rate. We would recommend staying here!

We had parked in the back of the parking and lot and walked into the lobby area. We decided to pay for their day pass to everything at the spa, minus the massages and facials. The day pass was roughly $75 which gave us access to their mineral pools, main pool, and reflexology pool. As part of our day pass, we also had been given a locker that had a robe and slippers inside. You get charged an extra fee if you do not return these items. It was a hot weekend in Indio, but being in the hot water made it feel extreme! I was also to try their small mineral pools, bigger pool, and their reflexology walk - the walk was my favorite! My rating stems from the lack of service while we were here. Yes, the waters are great, but the service was subpar. The girls and I were there for about five hours, but were not asked about drinks or snacks once. There was a lady walking around giving beverages and taking orders from other guests, except us. It was saddening that they didn't come up to us, so we did leave earlier than expected. This was a unique experience, and it's quite decent if it's your first time. I don't think I'd come back for a second time.

We booked the Dunes for a relaxing trip to Palm Springs to spend time next to the pool…read more Unfortunately, the pool and Spa had a nasty body scum ring that circled the whole entire pool and hot tub, floating debris in the hot tub, you could take your fingernail along the rim of the pool or the hot tub and scrape all the body gunk and scum off with the buildup piling up under your fingernail. The pool was filled with cloudy bluish green water... I reported this to management on the second day, they followed up with I'm sorry, I would be disappointed as well, and that they will have their pool and maintenance team on it right away... That was just something to say try to make me feel better, never once during our stay did pool maintenance or pool cleaning company come and test the water or try or attempt to clean the pool or Hot Tub. The whole idea was to get away from the busy world and to come out to Palmsprings to soak in the pool and Hot Tub was a complete failure... Although our check-in process with Paulina was pleasant, the management and the ownership completely dropped the ball, and clearly showed that they do not care about the cleanliness of the pool, I am confident that if sanitary testing measures were taken, the pool would be shut down due to the filthy nature of the water and disgusting body scum ring. There are 1 vending machine only had Diet Coke left, and the snacks were stale. I would not recommend the dunes.

First off the sweetest front desk concierge Ruben greeted me with a special champagne drink upon my arrival. When he came to my car to get me and greeted me with his dazzling and inviting smile, I knew this place was like no other. Ruben really cares for his guests and absolutely loves his job. Finding this kind of hospitality that Ruben provided is hard to find these days, he deserves to be the General Manager of this place! He went above and beyond for us and made us feel like family, he also gave us a brief history lesson of the hotel and surroundings. There was also another young gentleman with glasses at the front who was a darling as well, he too was very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and shared some interesting facts.The desert landscape inside the hotel is immaculate and the rooms are spot less. I was taken here as a birthday gift celebration and it was just devine. The amazing claw bathtub was just everything to me! It is my life's dream to have one of these tubs and this beauty is perfectly situated in the outside patio area completely private. The property is small but quite nice. But there is a spa past the "guests only" sign, away from the pool, so that's at least an option. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Reminded me of a casita. Shower is huge and has great pressure. Pocket doors all around, nice. Hot tub in back is killer and having a fire pit next to it makes the backyard lounging even more inviting on a crisp night. Free breakfast is full of solid choices. Not-free food and drinks are good but, holy hell, is it overpriced. I hate that we're at a place where drinks are $20 on average for alcohol that hasn't been getting more expensive. I just drink less so good for me, I suppose? I got a surf & turf for $55 and it was flank steak and about 15% of it was fat. It came with three shrimp. Sad. Excellent service. Love the color scheme of yellow, blues, and greens. My boyfriend and I's room was nice. Love the space. Cozy and comfortable. Yellow is the main character of the resort. From the room doors, outside umbrella, and towels. The pool was perfect. Not too deep 4ft I'm fine with that. The hot tub was 3ft and always group of men hanging out. Every day they have breakfast and lunch for the guests which is part of the deal. The resort is 20 minutes away from downtown Palm Springs which it's perfect. My first time visiting California and Palm Springs. I'm looking forward to coming back here in 2027.

Our rooms were ready when we arrived at noon, and we even received an upgrade due to our Bonvoy status. The front desk manager was so professional and kind! I was blown away when we arrived in our room and they had left the sweetest gifts for our son since it was his first trip. Touches like this are what make the Ritz Carlton brand legendary. Our entire stay was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and had the best service for drinks and lunch. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Edge. As always, the service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We only visited for one night, but everyone had the best time and felt relaxed heading back to reality.

I was looking for a quality, reasonably priced hotel for a quick trip to Palm Springs and Yelp sent me the right way on this one for sure! These are just some of the things we loved: -calm atmosphere without being stuffy -bikes to use while you are there -bungalows with all the cooking facilities to make you feel at home -postcards pre-stamped in the room so we could write our friends -super stylish digs -nicely maintained pool area with fire pit -our own private patio with fire pit and BBQ -really, really sweet hosts who made us feel totally at home I just can't say enough good things about out experience. I have stayed at some super expensive 5 star hotels all over the world and nothing compared to this. This is hands down my favorite place I have ever stayed. General hotel layout was nice, felt vintage and was a refreshing twist. Room layout was interesting, tv was placed in front of the couch so you can't watch tv in bed. When first entering our room: 1. The two ceilings lights either flickered or did not turn on at all. The room was pitch black until we PLUGGED IN the closet lamp. 2. The bathtub was not clean, there were hairs. Bathtub was paint was chipped and the faucet was leaking as well. 3. The kitchen utensils were not clean. Forks, glasses and even the roll of paper towels were found dirty or used. The extra rolls under the sink were unwrapped. When coming to our room a few hours after check in, calling customer service (calling three times) took more than an hour, just for us to be told that the lighting and cleanliness issues will be solved in the morning. Was really looking forward to the experience but upon our first few hours, we felt unwelcome, uncomfortable and turned off of our whole stay. Especially when faced with the lack of cleanliness in the restroom, if our bathtub could be so apparently dirty, what else could they have missed? We were forced to spend the first few hours fixing up our room before starting to feel comfortable. This meant scrubbing the bathtub, washing every dish and checking every surface. With the lengthy and detailed check in process, we were really expecting a quality, travel worthy experience. Instead, it felt we were greeted with an unclean, uncomfortable welcome. As guests, it was made obvious to us that customer service was not at the forefront of our experience. Having decentralized customer service (through phone numbers and apps) made us feel so unattached from the actual experience.

Still A cool place to hang and have a drink. I alway recommend the place to people who's looking for a nice spot for a drink. Then you have the hotel, it's very clean and modern. It got started with a reservation made on COSTCO.COM, with a package deal to include a car. We didn't just get a car, we got an AUDI QUATTRO w/ 400 miles on it. CAN YOU BELIEVE??? On the morning we were to drive to PALM SPRINGS, and my partner was on his way to get the car, I called Guest Services. I inquired about our room, and got upgraded to an upper floor, corner suite with a king size bed. It included a couch and a desk, AND TWO TVS!!! We also had a small fridge stocked, but had the food and drinks removed for our stuff!!! THEY OBLIGED!!! On the 2nd Day, I called the front desk, asking about PRIME AND NETFLIX. Immediately, they sent up a technician to show us how to use the TV AND GOOGLE, and how to interact with our phones. In short, WE WERE ABLE TO WATCH OUR FAVORITE MOVIES in the morning and at night. WITH THE COSTCO PACKAGE, we got free valet and free WIFI!!! Every night from 4 PM TO 5 PM, there was a wine and beer night!!! It was often the time when we were returning from touring, to relax, shower, change and get ready for dinner. We actually had time on our FIRST NIGHT to go swimming in the pool on the roof. What a treat!!! Every night, we ate at different place for dinner. On the first two nights, we took advantage of the hotel's shuttle, a big, white Suburban!!! VERY CLASSY!!! We ate dinners at Johnny Costa's, Bar Cecil (NOT TO BE MISSED!!!), and on the last night, Smokin Burgers. We ate out for breakfast one morning, and then we went to KING'S HIGHWAY. It had a 1950's VIBE. We went out every day for activities and touring, EVERY DAY WE RETURNED TO A CLEANED ROOM. We never actually saw them, but the bed was made, trash was removed. ETC. Speaking of ACTIVITIES, we tried on the first day ??( do a SCAVENGER HUNT FROM VIATOR for $49 for 2. TOTAL BUST. DAY 2 was Self Guided Driving Tour of Palm Springs and Palm Springs Aerial Tram. Day 3 was Self Guided Driving Driving Tour of the Windmills and Self Guided Driving Tour of Joshua Tree. We did drop in Aqua Caliente CASINO, and thanks to Vanna White, I made $90.00!!! WHICH WENT TO PAY FOR BAR CECIL.

Carlos and John, the hosts, are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "Pink Room". I wish I could live in it! So roomy and inviting. We spent a lot of time there since it was 122 outside. That and in the amazing pool. They provide a cocktail and appetizer in the evening (Carlos even served to us while we relaxed in the pool) and a tasty breakfast at a time you can choose. I was a little scared when I read that most of the recent reviews were negative. I was thinking "oh no! What did I get us into." This place is a blast from the past. The decor is that of a mid century modern and is a really cozy quadrangle set up. The interior feels homey and the property is set up like an air bnb with shared amenities. They play 1950s music all day on speakers throughout the complex, it creates that vintage feel but can get repetitive after a few days. Lounge with tables, board games, travel brochures, couches, fire place, coffee and tea, and industrial kitchen for use during your stay. (Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.
