This store is so much fun! It's beautiful with an amazing serene vibe. The personnel is so knowledgeable about every gadget that you can dream of for your kitchen! I purchased so many thing that I, of course, NEEDED! The one item that I got was the Finamil battery operated salt, pepper and spice mill. I fell in love with it, I got it in my favorite color, red. Recently a friend of mine mentioned how much she loved it, I knew her boyfriend's birthday was coming up and asked him it he was interested in it for HIS birthday (wink wink). So I called the store and I spoke with the Boss Lady herself, Jan. I was so impressed by her sweet and humble demeanor, she walked me through it, I purchased a gray (manly) color, including all the spices, an extra container and a corner stand. The package arrived in two days, and inside were 4 different packages beautifully wrapped in a colorful array of cactus paper, intricately stacked on top of each other and held together with a beautiful bow! Mom and I went for the Thai class with Kekoa. It was my first time there and I loved the store and the class! Everything he made was very tasty and I bought many things in the store a well. I got coffee, sponges, some dishes, a knife, and everything is 15% off when you sign up for the class. They sell out fast so you have to book asap when the schedule comes it each month. It is not just a class it's a whole meal ! We will be back to shop and attend more classes. read more

You cannot go in here and not buy something... There's something for everyone the staff is amazing. The owner is amazing. Her son is amazing and all of them were just as knowledgeable as the other. It's one of the most fun stores I've ever been in. I could shop in there for hours. I've seen videos and interviews with the owner for years and she's just as sweet in person if not more so... I will always shop here if I need anything before going to the higher end gourmet stores. They have cool gadgets and some stuff is priced accordingly. However, I bought a cast iron grill/griddle that I hadn't seen before and thought it would be a great gift for someone. It was $69.99. About 2 hours later at Target I found the exact same griddle for $39.99. I understand a mark up of a few bucks because of the store and location, but a $30 markup is absolutely ridiculous. Please don't be duped by this store's pricing schemes and check products before you buy them. read more

I needed a grapefruit spoon and looked EVERYWHERE locally (I will not shop online) but no one had it. We were looking for a good place to get our knives sharpened and learned that Kitchen Kitchen has a talented person on staff. The shop is great to browse in and chat with hospitable retail specialists. Love this place, we'll be back without the knives! OMG I recently had a class I originally booked with Chef Ronda for French food but to My surprise was taken over by Chef Gavin. Wow is all I can say! Chef Gavin told us he would recreate recipes more attuned to traditional French cuisine from his travels and his time living in France. I thought I was in St Tropez! We started with a home made French pâté; a recipe from his time spent on the island of Corsica. It was buttery, creamy and MELTED in your mouth AND plated like a Michelin star restaurant. Home made rosemary Melba! I was Blown away. The entree was GIANT wild king scallops done classically 'st Jacques' style with Cremina mushrooms, cognac and buttery mashed potatoes(and his touch of prosciutto)WOW WOW WOW. We finished with classic Crepes! Chef Gavin made 'Crepe Suzette', or as he taught me 'Crepe Lorraine' with the addition of ice cream. This has to be the BEST cooking class and so far cooking school I've ever experienced in California. You HAVE to try this school, Chef Gavin is incredible. I was just in the store to purchase 2 knives as gifts. The sons of the owner were running the store and they were extremely rude! I asked for the covers of the knives They brought the wrong one and insisted that I go get the correct one myself. when I asked him to open the packaging to confirm that it fit, he said "yea, I will open it if u buy it". Then, I said I would buy it if it fits. As I was checking out, he was being extremely rude and I said to him where is your mother, and he said why, are you going to tattle tale on me. No thank you, nothing. I have been a long term customer for years, and I want to shop local to support small businesses but his behavior was inexcusable. I hope he gets reprimanded by his Mommy!!
