This location didn't have the medium size pink ladies jacket I needed for a costume party. No time to go to other locations... I may say this location disappointed me not because I didn't get what I needed but it was the way the store appeared to be very disorganized.. I felt it was not as inviting as other Party City I've been to . As a starter there was a tall ladder standing freely in one of the aisle. The whole back area display where they have all the nice colored party accessories were blocked by humongous boxes that were piled one on top of the other and wrapped by clear plastic. Located in the Citrus Plaza, corner end. Went to pick up a few graduation decorations at this store. Large selection to choose from. However there was a super long line with only two cashiers and the other employee as making balloon bouquets. Fortunately, another employee just walked in and he was the one that rung me up for the items that I purchased. Hipped!!! I was handled very poorly with an associate name Natalia. I was waiting at the register for about five minutes as Natalia was just walking by unwilling to assist. As I asked her to assist me, she said she was with a customer, but there was no customer around. She then went up to her coworker and started laughing and just lounging around. As I repeated myself to ask her help me, she came to the register very rudely . She Threw my products in the bag and tossed my receipt at me. I asked her for the managers name and the store number . She didn't want to give it to me . So I asked the other associate And she went ahead and gave me the information that I needed. This is very poor service For business, i'm the wrong person that she came across , I will be getting in contact with the regional department of party city so you'll be hearing them soon. Not much to tell here. Party City is a wonderful place to stock up on over-priced party supplies. I hate to sound mean, but that's the truth. I coordinate tons of events for work, and have found that I can find almost anything that's sold at Party City for HALF the price, elsewhere. The exact same plates, napkins, & cups, can all be found at The Dollar Tree for $1. I've seen the plates for as much as $3.99 at Party City. This location is fairly well stocked, but honestly, you're better off driving down to the party supply area in DTLA where they offer a MUCH larger selection! The only time I'd recommend coming here is when you're pressed for time and have absolutely no time to find a better deal. Do not buy helium balloons here. We purchased $100+ in foil balloons and the helium was out that evening and the next day. Dollar store helium lasts longer than this. And we paid extra for hi-float. We brought one balloon back (that cost $15) for my sons actual birthday a little over a day later. My husband offered to purchase helium to refill this balloon. After a long wait a manager rudely came over and said they would not fill it, even if we paid. read more

UPDATE. This confetti was purchased at Target. Party City - you are cool! Who sells confetti? And for what purpose? It just happens to be my birthday and Erin and Nicole may or may not have visited your store and purchased this confetti which is now all over my floor, computer, desk etc. They tried to trick me by placing said confetti that may or may not have been purchased at your store in a card...which I then opened. Wise to their tricks...I quickly ran out of my office and dumped said confetti on the floor at their desks...only this also backfired as they cleaned it up and put it all on the floor on my desk. So I walked in at 10 minutes to close, and it looked like one of the workers was closing up for the night since there were so many people inside. He asked what I needed, and I told him I just needed two mylar balloons filled that had lost air since they got filled there the day before. Instead of turning me away, he took the balloons and put air in them right away so I didn't have to stand in the long line of people. She had to wait for the Manager to give authorization to open another pack to replace the one she popped which was fine however it took the manager 20 minutes to come up front and when she did she was extremely rude. Went in to today to buy a ballon for my son. I had told him if he behaved in BevMo m, we eouk I would go into party city and get him his choice of balloons. Since I was going to a party tonight I decided to also get some cups. I went and got in line finally got called to the register after about 10 minutes only to be told that there would be a wait for the balloon. I said that would be OK since I really only came in for the balloon. The girls and told me that it was going to be a two hour wait to get the balloon. 2 hour wait?? That's ridiculous! That is some serious poor customer service when you can't designate somebody to do one or two balloons for people coming in. I can understand if you have pre-orders but don't you have employees that are designated to do that and employee working on the register be able to go get one balloon? Do you only have one helium tank? Ridiculous! I tend to avoid coming here and this is really the reason why seriously poor customer service. read more

I generally go here for most of my generic party needs or when work asks me to pick up a plastic tablecloth, plastic cups etc. They are big and warehouse style although this much space isn't needed. Repeated items are overstocked and stacked to the ceiling. Today I called and asked for a very specific item I saw on their website. They checked for me and I jumped in tha car and drove 20 minutes to find that they didn't have it after all. Disappointed today. Something cool is that they are next to BevMo and PetCo so if you were celebrating or wanting to decorate for a holiday (likebirthday?) or give a fun gift with extras fun ideas are right next door.
