I generally go here for most of my generic party needs or when work asks me to pick up a plastic tablecloth, plastic cups etc. They are big and warehouse style although this much space isn't needed. Repeated items are overstocked and stacked to the ceiling. Today I called and asked for a very specific item I saw on their website. They checked for me and I jumped in tha car and drove 20 minutes to find that they didn't have it after all. Disappointed today. Something cool is that they are next to BevMo and PetCo so if you were celebrating or wanting to decorate for a holiday (likebirthday?) or give a fun gift with extras fun ideas are right next door. On May 15th around 5pm I went in to buy 3 latex balloons for my 1yr old photo shot. This girl CRYSTAL service was just completely horrible. She was inflating a bouquet balloons for this customer that I was clearly standing right behind listening to their conversation for like 10 mins. After the customer left she said "sorry but if you want balloons you have to get in line." So I got in line understanding they're really busy for a Sunday. As it was my turn to get rung up and order my 3 balloons she told me "it's going to be a 15-20 min wait to inflate the 3 balloons" (remember I'm trying to get to my daughter's photo shot, Plus there was a gentleman behind me with a Elmo balloon that wanted to get the balloon re-inflated for his son) I said "why?" And she responded "I have to take care of these customers behind you then I'll get to your balloons." At the moment I was just irritated and we exchanged some words. When it was the gentlemans turn behind me, he had heard everything me and crystal were arguing about and she said the same thing to him after we been waiting in line. He walked out. So now she handling atleast 5 customers from behind me knowing theres another register open and then says on her little speaker I'm taking my 10 after this. So now it's finally my turn again and she's about to inflate my 3 balloons and I told her how I felt about getting in line and after she pushed me to the side to handle other customers before me. Her and I just went at it. So this other store associate Taylor came to see what the problem was and crystal was yelling pointing at me saying "refund her money and get her out of here" I said "no cause I already paid for my stuff." Luckily crystal walked away and went on her 10 and I was talking to taylor on what had happened and she was nice about inflating my balloons and getting me on my way. Took a over half hour to get 3 latex balloons cause I was late to the photo shot. I dont shop party city much but poor service like this will not have me back. I will not be returning anytime soon. read more

Too many times I've experienced poor customer service there...my last trip there an employee popped a Pusheen balloon ( cant buy them in stores, so they are hard to find )that we brought in and didn't apologize, just said, well, that's the risk you took. Which I understand, but at least fake that you care for the customers sake. She also had to be reminded to add hi float to the balloons which we paid extra to have added. Saw her start to blow some up without adding that stuff first. (I dont think it was added to all the balloons since they didnt last as long as they have before.)I asked to talk to a manager and it was the girl standing next to her..she had the same attitude. If they had no stars that's what I would put . This location is horrible . They have absolutely no customer service at all . Their attitudes up in the front at the balloon counter isn't very helpful at all . If you don't want to deal with orders and customers then maybe you should be put in the back stocking inventory. read more

There is a great selection of merchandise but unfortunately the rude staff makes me hesitant to go back here. The cashiers act put out to be helping and I felt like they were bothered to even be ringing me up. I will not be returning to this store due to the very rude sales associates. I went in on November 30th and was treated very rudely. The check out has a sign pointing to the left that says line starts here so I stand where the arrow points and a cashier shouts out to me that I am not in the correct area to stand for the line. There was a customer at the checkstand but I was the only one in line so REALLY you have to yell at me? Then change your sign. Then when we got up to the counter the saleswoman was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. She seemed put out that we wanted a couple of balloons that were behind the counter. The staff here is so rude its unreal. I came in this morning to pick up some balloons for my daughter's birthday. The girl that helped me looked ridiculous. She had four piercings around her mouth and bull ring in her nose. Not only that, her top was too low cut and inappropriate. There are children that frequent this store and for the staff to dress so unprofessional is shocking . I won't go back to this location anymore. read more

I bought the number "25" in giant balloons and within 5 minutes both balloons were deflated. I drove all the way back from home and asked them to replace or refill my balloons. First, they helped everyone in the check out line before showing me any service and made me wait 30 min. They refilled them and assures they gave me new balloons. I got home to have them both flat AGAIN. They had put patches over small holes and I realized both balloons had small holes still leaking air. Very disappointed in the customer service and would not go here if you want your balloons to last more than 6 min. Thanks to this store our surprise party went without nice balloons. read more

Party City is your pretty standard party supplies place. I stopped by to pick up the paper plates and napkins my gf picked out for her birthday and order a bouquet of balloons for her. I was annoyed that both styles she picked out from their online selection were not available. It looked like only half of what was shown online existed in store. My balloon order was filled right away and looked spectacular but just getting the gaggle of balloons in my car caused one of them to pop; another two didn't make it on the car ride home. While I was able to get replacements for said balloons before the party, it was a hassle to stop back in and explain what had happened. I don't know if it was static electricity or the giant size the balloons were inflated to but another one bit the dust right as we were arriving to the bowling alley. Extra pluses for throwing together a quick party was the whole aisle of candy for 15 cents/piece and the half an aisle of cards for every celebratory event. read more

This place is awful. Spent $150 on my kids Birthday and two days later went in to have the balloons blown up. I didnt have the receipt and they refused to blow up the balloons unless i paid. Cost $21 to blow up 9 balloons. They could have been cool and just did it, but nope. Party Plus is only a half mile away and Id suggest going there. read more

I normally don't write reviews, but I had to give them my 2 cents even though I know they can careless about my review. I ordered some balloons online yesterday and was given one price at the checkout. I then received 2 confirmation emails with 2 different prices. I called the store to ask about the discrepancy and one lady said it was because I wasn't charged tax online. Another lady said it was because they charged extra for hi float in the balloons. Two employees, 2 answers, 0 conclusion. Then today my credit card statement shows 2 charges from Party City which doesn't match my confirmation emails! I called to talk to the manager and the only amount she found doesn't match the amount charged on my credit card. SHE couldn't give me an answer on the discrepancy either so I cancelled my order. This is ridiculous! Get it together Party City! It's not that hard to add up the prices of the items and only charge your customer ONE price with no hidden fees. You just lost my business along with my ginormous family members that lives in the area. read more

Too bad I couldn't give ZERO stars as this place false advertises. Went to store to buy some last minute Halloween decorations and verified they had the items in store. Got there but I forgot my wallet at home. Since all items in stock, did curbside pickup that says its within 2 hours. Ordered within 15 min when I drove home. Since store was busy, I thought maybe it would be a little longer than 2 hours since no email by 4pm. Called them at 7:30-8 to check on my order. They ask for my last name put oh hold then come on phone asking for first. Then on hold again they ask for first, last name and number. On hold again they they ask for the order number. Then only to say they only have 1/2 the order. Asked to speak to manager who claims they don't get orders right away (then why claim 2 hour curbside if you can't do?). I told him I was there about 1:45 they had all the items but I could not buy as no wallet. Claims they filled part of order but couldn't help if purchased (oh yes you can because you should have someone working the online orders as if those people are in person - in order). Said they need to go to another store to get my order as they had everything and couldn't fill because now it's 6 hours later! Looked and all out and if ordered online no giant we I'll get for Halloween. Asked for coupon- denied. There is one guarantee- won't go there again as that store has HORRIBLE service! Save your time and money and go to diff location or order online as Redlands location doesn't care about its customers. Will be contacting corporate. read more

I did not have a bad experience at all, in fact. they were very helpful with my items, had bought a helium tank balloon machine that didn't work and they let me exchange it. I found the location to be convient because i was decorating for a party and did not know that there was a party city in this plaza. very pleased it was there! employees were cool and the shoppers very kind and courtest. read more

It seems like every worker there uses different "rules" they try to apply and it's annoying when each one says something different. For example, I've used my husbands bank card there before and never had a problem but this last time the girl told me I couldn't use it. I explained I had before & she tried telling me I hadn't cause they have to check IDs. I understand there's card frauds but I was with my children buying a #1 piñata for my son. If I'm going to be fraudulent it won't be for only a piñata! Anyways the worker looked ridiculous with all these black piercings in her nose and mouth. Went in today to get balloons for my sons birthday, apparently they were out of the smaller balloons, and then the larger balloons. When asked if they had anything else...they just blew us off and rudely walked away. Party City has pretty much everything you need to host a party. Large selection of colors in every possible item (cups, plates, utensils, tables). They also have a large selection of themes like luau, casino, mardi gras, western, etc. I love the customs invitations and have done this for my last 4 parties: 3 birthday parties and 1 bridal shower. My only issue (and reason for 1 star deduction) is my most recent order of custom invitations. I went in on a Thursday and was told by the guy who's always done my invitations (Anthony? BTW, he's great at making suggestions as to what looks best) that they'd be ready Saturday, maybe even tomorrow and they'll call when ready. I was pretty happy about the possibility of Friday because I wanted to mail them out the day I got them at the postal distribution center in Redlands. Friday came and went with no call :( Then Saturday also came and went. Double :( on Sunday I made my way over there very irritated the invitations didn't go out on Saturday as planned. I explained my situation to the staff (I'll leave out her name) who grabbed the invitations off the counter. Ok, now I'm really irritated since they were ready and no one called. I asked why this was a got an indifferent, "I don't know" as she handed them to me. Wow, really? Not even, "I'm sorry, someone should have called you." Maybe she was busy thinking about her boobs falling out of her shirt. I'm no prude but this is a place of business. I have been coming to this party city for a few party supplies through out these past few weeks for my gender reveal and just today around noon my mother in law and I were excited to buy more supplies, as we were finishing up we get to the line to start paying. My mother in law and I are speaking Spanish and trying to figure out if we needed anything else .. we did not hear the cashier tell us we were next this white lady was so rude behind us and told us to go now I let the situation go. We got to the cashier lady and apparently a customer was done paying and was trying to get through behind us but we again didn't hear anything and there goes the rude white lady again saying something to me so I finally responded and as soon I said something the rude lady started yapping her mouth to the cashier and the cashier went along with it. I would expect a lot more helium in my balloons for the price I paid just for a happy birthday ballon and two plain ones. By the next day the balloons were down to the ground. How embarrassing, I would have been better off going to the dollar tree! Lol lesson learned don't go to party city where the balloons are expensive, u have to even buy the weight for it, (it's state law so they say) and you don't get your money's worth. I went in ahead of time and placed a balloon order. I asked to pick it up by 5pm two days later. When I showed up at about 5:30 (due to traffic) the line was ridiculously long. The one cashier finally called for backup. Three other employees finally came toward the front, one stayed and the other two turned and walked away- which I get, they need people helping throughout the store, but there seemed to be no rush to help anyone. I ended up stopping one employee who was starting to walk away and asked about picking up my pre-ordered balloons. I figured, get my balloons and get out of the way... however, they had not even started my order. They all seemed irritated by my request to get the balloons as soon as possible as I was on my way to an event.
