During that time, the stylist says she's busy go talk to assistant. the assistant doesn't know prices, she has to "look them up on her screen" and has to find her login password.. I wait then she.. gets a phone call, but she doesn't not put the phone caller on hold; instead, she prioritizes the call over an in-person guest who had already been waiting. At this point I'm just over it.. this salon has no basic service standards. So I write a short review. But the real issue is the salon manager, Cathy. See screenshot Rather than acknowledging the experience or taking responsibility, her response to my review was defensive, dismissive, and borderline hostile. She reframes the situation and even added a passive-aggressive comment along the lines of "too bad we can't review you." Wow! That last remark says everything about the culture here. Customer feedback should be met with accountability. A manager who responds vengefully instead of constructively tells you everything you need in how guests are valued. If this is how concerns are handled publicly, I would be very cautious about how problems are handled here about your hair!

The stylist was very knowledgeable about curly hair which I attribute to the cost of their service. I don't think I'd return for color again but will definitely return for the deva cuts. It could be helpful to give customers a rough estimate of the booked service so we get the chance to financially plan instead of being told the price once we're in the chair- at that point, I feel most customers could feel obligated to comply.
