Since my father owns an auto shop back up North, I always come in with a set of very specific instructions, especially when it comes to my oil changes. Each one of my cars has a specific set of instructions I want followed because each one has its own little finicky things. Lucas first, don't top off fluids except washer fluid, only use manual tools and not drills, etc. the guys who work here have ALWAYS abided by my instructions without hesitation. They don't ever make me feel like a nuisance or burden and are always very polite and professional. Today was no different. Nick worked on my Mercedes to get my oil change done and then Derek worked on my new tire installation. Between the pleasant conversations, not ever trying to rip me off because I'm a female, and their overall politeness and ability to work on my cars the way I want them to, I will continue coming back year after year and bringing all of my cars here ranging from the more normal ones to the imports. They do have a pretty high turnover rate of workers, so just as I get to know one set of them, a new set arrives, but every single set of guys has been very helpful and respectful. I would absolutely recommend this shop, ESPECIALLY to females, because they won't try to rip you off like most shops around here will try to do just because they think you don't know what you're talking about and are an easy target. I also always bring in my own oil and filters (and even my own tires) and they have no issues using MY equipment, which many shops in the area will refuse to do. If you're hesitant, don't be. If you're also a female and are worried about someone trying to pull a fast one on you, trust me this shop won't even try it.

I called, and Mark told me it would be the next day. Of course, I wanted to know why no one called to inform me. My friend and I went back because that was not going to work for me. It's bad business. If things change, then let people know so they can make an informed decision on next steps. And Mark was rude. My friend, a white man, told Mark he was disappointed and informed him that I only came because he recommended me. I could have gone somewhere else because I've never been to a Firestone. Mark eventually said they would finish my car that night. While there, he also discussed employee relations, stating the person who rang me, Rico (I think), didn't ring me up correctly. Apparently, he gave me an extra $80 discount on the 4 tires I bought. He was talking about the guy kept messing up and he was going to fire him, etc. Just rude and unprofessional. Then the next day, the cashier ( I think he said his name was Rico) called to "check" on me. He was really trying to see if I was single. I'm just glad I put my business post office box address on my account profile. This store needs an overhaul and quick. Would not recommend.

I believe they…read moreget bonuses for every service they sell or upgrade or a product they sell you because he kept telling me there were things wrong with my car and that they could fix it, and I went from getting headlights on the front of my car to having to have new tires and haven't having an alignment on my car. I was livid when I got home and called the company that did the previous alignment on my car two months earlier and gave me a new tire and they charged me $24 for the alignment. They showed me video proof of that the guy did my alignment on my car. They also showed me their report that I guess is electronic and it shows you where the car line was and where it's at now and there is nothing wrong with my car. I just assumed that this man was right I need an alignment it could cost me to go have an accident and I went forward but the only problem was he charged me $189 for something that was actually $24. So yeah, don't go over there. I'm not saying all of the stores are the same, but don't go to that one not on Germantown Parkway in Cordova.
