Paso ford has had my f150 pick up 6 times for warranty work tail gate drops alarm goes off randomly. Recalls preformed problem still exists.Required to disconnect battery nightly to keep peace in the neighborhood. Sales person does not respond to calls sales manager said parts on order will take weeks there on back order. Dealer contacted ford and will replace parts that have been installed. I purchased my lightly used 2012 Kia Rio from Paso Robles Ford and I'm satisfied with how quickly and relatively easy the process was. This was my first time buying a car (on my own with my own money), so I did my due diligence in researching the car-buying process before making any major decisions. Before contacting Paso Robles Ford, I had already test driven 3 Kia Rios, both new and used, from 3 other dealers. I knew this was the car I wanted, so it was just a matter of finding "the one." I was looking for a 2012 Rio hatchback with relatively low mileage, clean CarFax, white exterior and black interior. Sure enough, Paso Robles Ford had the one. I live in SF - 4 hours from Paso Robles - and Aaron made the process very easy from start to finish. The car was delivered to me, at no extra cost, and I also negotiated the purchase price down a bit. Also, they matched the interest rate from SF federal credit union. I was actually surprised, since no other dealer or credit union had been able to match or beat it. All the paperwork was filled out on their end, and the finance manager called me a few times the day before the car was delivered to confirm a number of items. There were a few minor issues after I received the car, but Aaron resolved those issues quickly. First - the metal key detached from the plastic alarm part a few days after I received the car. Second - the cargo cover that attaches to the trunk door (to conceal items in the trunk when the door is closed) was missing. Aaron called me back within 2 hours and said that a new cargo cover and key fob was being mailed to my house. Sure enough, I received them both in one week. On my end, I had to get the new key fob reprogrammed at SF Kia ($149) and texted a copy of the bill to Aaron. I received the reimbursement check in the mail about 5 business days. Very quick! All in all, I'm very pleased with Paso Robles Ford and my used car purchase. Thanks, Aaron! read more

buyer beware. i bought online. salesman scott cozart sent a video of a car i bought, but avoided showing the missing body part. they sent it to a local inspector that didn't mention anything about the missing part. i asked for them to replace it and the answer came back "hey sorry i didn't get back to you. but just spoke with my manager and we figured since we paid for the inspection, we can call it even." so because the dealer paid for the inspection - that didn't notice the missing part, i have to pay for the part myself. i would go over whatever you buy there inch by inch. there is a serious lack of integrity with these people. read more

First time in here was cause of the great deal they where having on the f150s back in 2017. Ended up dealing with Jason the fisherman/car salesman. He did me good but there was a recall on the truck so I couldn't get it at that time and the parts were on back order with no ETA very frustrating let me tell you. We they gave me a loaner for the whole time along with made my first payment on the truck and gave me some ampm gift cards at the end of it all. After that I didn't want to go back but I chose against that and went back and talked to Jason the fisherman who now makes lures. Very good guy no beating around the bush I told him what I wanted and he made it happened. I traded that ford in and got a used Chevy 2500 that I needed for towing. Well 6 month down the line and barely 3 grand on miles I have put on it and it starts smoking bad. So I bought the extended warranty from them and well they didn't cover it for some stupid reason so I call them up and talk to one of the Greg's a boss and then Keven Pryor and they took care of me like pros felt with the mechanics to get it all fixed. I must say this will be my dealership for the rest of my time. They are really looking out for there customers and that's what makes you come back. The service department is a mess to deal with. Do NOT buy the oil change or service option. It takes days to get an appointment and then they want you to drop the vehicle off for the simple oil change. The other really frustrating thing is that they want to assign you a individual rep for your job which seems never to be available and getting another sevice rep to give you status of your vehicle is difficult. "Let me find your service rep and have him/her call you back"......hours later you get a call back. I dropped my vehicle of on a Monday for a check engine light and oil change and the didn't have it ready by the following Monday. Again when I called "Do you know who's your service rep is"? "No" I said. 3 hours later I got a call back and was told they could rush the spark plug change and oil service. This isn't a one time thing. This is every time I deal with them. I even asked for management to give me a call and that never happened. Love my truck but I will not buy another one from Paso Ford if nothing changes from the service department. Oil changes should take 30 min and be available immediately. read more

The service department is an awesome crew and my only wish is that they were bigger and had a real quick lube facility with first in first out type of service because making appointments can stretch out a bit when your in a hurry. Called them in regards to a truck that they advertised for 23k. I told them that i have my own financing but for only 21k and if there was any room to come down from 23k to 21k. They said sure come on in. So I did,when I got their they stated that they could get me a better interest rate. Yesterday, I went to Paso Robles Ford, with excellent credit, 20% down payment in hand, ready to buy a new, C-Max Hybrid. No trade in, no price haggling. The salesman was personable, seemed to understand that I simply wanted a clean, straightforward transaction. However, upon being sent to the Finance manager, Mike, things took a major downward turn which caused us to walk out half way through signing papers. Mike stated he needed to check that we were in fact able to get the promised $1,000 Black Friday rebate and started typing on his computer. He then started making "small talk" with me about had I owned a Ford before, how many miles do I drive in a year, yada, yada, yada. Instead of referring back to the supposed rebate issue, be proceeded to tell my husband and I about the extended warranty he wanted us to buy for an additional $1900. He tried to scare us into adding this "backend" profit by talking about how expensive it is at their $125 per hour shop rate to repair the complex electrical/computer systems, and that with our average milage, all that horrible expense could be happening to us in a mere 18 months after purchasing our brand new car. Instead, he created severe doubt in our minds that this car had a quality electrical system. Although overall, this car gets high marks by reviewers, the one issue they mention is problems with the blue tooth/entertainment systems. Since this is a new model without a track record of mechanical reliability, Mike instead convinced us to buy a Prius. If you DO choose to purchase a car here, I suggest you come with your own financing , insist upon having the purchase contract brought to you in the showroom to sign, and refuse to have any dealings what so ever with their finance dept. read more

Purchased a used dodge ram here probably 8 years ago and don't really have anything bad to say about that experience... don't think I got as good of a deal as I could have... but thats probably bad on me. In 2012 I was in the market for a 2013 explorer sport, spoke with Bob Moore via the internet, and came down to the show room to talk about getting one traded into inventory, was told something along the lines of "dont bother trying, we wont negotiate anything on that car", which was off putting, but was still willing to move forward. I was handed off to another sales person because apparently (I didnt sound / appear serious enough). I decided to just drive 300 miles to not have to deal with the small town dealer reaming and run around. I decided to give Paso ford another try in my attempted purchase of a Focus ST... went in with the lease deals advertised on Ford's website... which according to Paso Ford are wrong, and that they fail include that there are at least another 100/mo in fees and tax etc. Then some definite (Intentional or unintentional) run-around. Prices changing deals actually somehow getting worse. Simply amazing. Needless to say I think I've learned by now that buying cars from dealers should be measured in how violated you feel getting out of the dealer, and if that level of violate feels minimal, you did good. Paso Ford lost me as a potential customer, I wont be back. My situation was not typical, and some people there definitely seemed to be good/honest, I wont flat out recommend to people that they SHOULDN'T deal with Paso Ford, but I'll definitely tell everyone I hear shopping, about my experiences (the facts, trying to keep my emotions or frustrations out of it) and let them make up their own mind. In general, I'd recommend to people to go to somewhere like the outskirts of LA or even Bakersfield area, it'll be worth your while. Central coast has a way of sky jacking the prices and not be willing to deal. Update... I actually went to buy a car here twice... And ultimately decided not to buy any car because if such horrific experiences. I finally took a chance and drove to sunnyvale ford. Night and day difference. 0 surprises... a reasonable price that was exactly what I expected. In and out in about 1.5 hr and a dealer redeemed my faith. There are decent dealers out there. Learn from my experiences with Paso ford or really any Ford dealer in SLO county. read more

Took me a week to get an appointment when the engine light flashed on. I was almost due for an oil change so scheduled that as well as the diagnostics for the light which will cost a minimum of $108. I had the car at PR Ford before 9am and was told it would be approx 45 minutes for the oil change but no telling how long before the diagnostics were done. I waited 20 minutes for the shuttle and went home. At 11 - 2 hours later - I still had not received a call from Mike, the service rep. I called him and was told the oil change was done but they were still diagnosing but he would call to let me know what the problem was and how much it would cost. It is almost noon. I still have not received a call. I'm stuck at home - no idea how long or how much I will be charged today for service. What a waist of a day - a day of my life wasted and I will have to pay for it! I do not plan to go back. I looked up their competitor in SLO and will go there for my next service if I go to a Ford dealer at all. read more

My 18yo daughter was coming back from Cal Poly when her friend's car died on the side of the freeway in Paso Robles. She called AAA (got terrible service and a really bad attitude - but that is for another review) and was towed to a local garage that insisted on charging $150 for a simple diagnosis and then $100/hr for any repairs. The manager did a great job of scaring the girls and was of no help. Basically pay the fees or walk. My daughter called me so I called Paso Robles Ford (from a Google search) and spoke to Adam Becker. Adam was great. He took the girls in, took great care of them, helped them figure out what was wrong and when the repairs were going to be more than the car was worth he didn't charge them for a diagnosis. In a world where so many dealerships are more concerned about bottom lines and profits it was great to see that approach taken by Adam and Paso Robles Ford. I am not a Ford guy but if I was ever to buy one I would start with those guys. read more

Paso Robles Ford is a rip off, they wanted to charge me $1092.00 for a repair that I received from a reputable service center for $382.00. Also, Ford told me I needed another repair for $400.00, the reputable service man told me the screws just needed tightened. Upon inspection and cleaning of the parts by the reputable service center(Ford told me needed replaced for $400.00) that was all that was needed, and didn't charge me a dime! Not sure why Ford is charging such repairs for high dollars & recommending repairs that are not necessary! I bought my Ford from Paso Robles Ford Eleven years ago they would not warrantee the rear end leak. I told them about right after the purchase, they would not fix under warrantee! The reputable service center I am now taking my truck to only charged me 1/2 hr. labor to fix $42.50. No more leaks in the driveway or shop! read more

Went to Paso Robles Ford to purchase a 2014 Ford Fusion. Was listed on their website for $26,+ I called ahead and did the credit app. Over the phone so as to have all the particulars out if the way when I got there. Was called about 5 min. Before I was ready to leave and was told the numbers looked good, it was all set. Come on over and pick up my new car. I got there. Nothing had been done, sat for 3 hrs. When I threatened to leave, was told 5 min. It would be ready. When the sales manager came out, after 3 1/2 hrs he had put the fusion back to the original price of 35K+, and said since I got a 1.9% interest rate. He was taking all the incentives off. Now what am I stupid ot what. Why am I going to pay 35K for a 2014, when I can buy a new 2015 in AG for 32K. There's much more to what happened than this. I will never set foot back in paso robles ford again. read more

( in fact there was a lawsuit about it) and I went in to Ford just to see what they could do for me.
