It has now been two years since I bought my used 2013 Wrangler unlimited four door from Ted Miles. I have had zero issues with the Jeep, I love and enjoy it still like the day I bought it. The price was good and fair, the friendly service top notch. I'm especially proud to have bought locally. lol, pay no attention when the Salesman tells you he is a used car salesman and shouldn't be trusted, he is joking. I absolutely trust him, especially now, though I don't remember his name while writing. He told me when I purchased the Jeep, the previous owner would be bringing by the Snorkel and some other additional accessories, (usually a BS claim), not with them, they both did, they are true to their word. The next week I was provided with a minimum $500 or more in accessories. These could have been sold on EBay and I would never have known. They are ethical. Enough said. My husband has been looking for a new truck because someone totaled his a few weeks back, I inquired about a Tacoma on their lot and have not been able to get ahold of anyone regarding it, my husband has been going there every day around 5:30 after he gets off work and no one is there. I told him it wasn't worth going down there again and he still went yesterday, and again no one was there. On google, safari, and yelp it says they close at 6, if that's the case you need to change your hours to 5:30 instead. All of their vehicles are way overpriced especially the Tacoma my husband was looking at was a 2017 with over 115,000 miles and a manual and they want 31k for it? No wonder it's been on your lot for MONTHS, that's 6k+ over market value. read more

We had been eyeing a motorhome that was on their lot for a week or so, when I finally stopped in to see the inside! By chance, I was given the tour by Mr. Miles himself, and told him I would like to have my husband take a look. The following week we went back and Mr. Miles greeted us and answered all our questions. Due to my husband's work schedule, we couldn't test drive for another week. Ted was very accommodating- positioning the RV for us to drive it off the lot easily, and allowed us ample time to inspect the coach to our satisfaction. He even supplied a ladder so we could check out the roof! We negotiated a very fair price, and are now the proud new owners of a good used MH! Eric in service is very friendly and thorough, making sure I understand every part of the repair. Very pleased. DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I've been procrastinating on writing reviews for all of the businesses I love... but after the help I got from Eric in their Service Department, I couldn't wait another minute. This past Sunday evening, my girlfriend's car overheated while we were both on our way out of the county. I turned my car around to pick her up and take her to where she was headed... but when I arrived, my car began to steam and overheat. Accepting that I wouldn't get back to school until I had work done on the car, I came back to my car Monday afternoon and called them to explain my problem. I immediately knew I had called the right place. The best thing about this place is that Eric takes the time to explain your car's problem(s) in detail - he doesn't overwhelm you with mechanic jargon, but certainly doesn't talk down to you either. He also isn't looking to take advantage of you, even if you're a college student with very little knowledge about cars. Eric gave us constant updates on the progress with our cars, made conversation with us as we sat in the waiting room hoping we wouldn't walk out broke, and offered very valuable advice on future maintenance for my car. We could have both walked out of any auto shop thousands of dollars poorer, with (in our case) new radiators and cylinder heads that we didn't even need. Luckily, Eric was very straightforward and honest with us.... we walked out very happy and relieved that our cars had been fixed. Eric even took a look at my previous maintenance records and took the time out of his day to talk to me and call my grandfather (who has a better grasp of car mechanics) to address another issue I was facing with my car. Overall, I'm very happy with the service I got here. Really, don't go anywhere else... call and ask for Eric to help you out. read more

Please don't trust Sam. I bought my Jeep 6 months ago. Worst choice ever! Within 2 weeks it had electrical problems. I called and talked to Sam, very rude. I have had a different problem with the jeep every month until it finally blew up. I owe for another 5 years on a Jeep I can't drive. Ted Miles motors are a bunch of scammers. Don't do business with these people as they will try to rob you and screw you for everything you have. I recently asked them for help selling my RV which they did, but they also took $10,000 from me to clear out my loan and then decided to just not pay it off until numerous request and threatening legal and criminal action over 3 weeks later.... They continued to lie to me and my wife as we stopped by a few times over a 3 week period and asked for paperwork regarding sale and progress on closing out my loan. I had to make a payment on my RV almost 3 weeks after sale and felt as I was being screwed and robbed the entire 3 weeks. When our official pay off date came and the bank said they had no record of payment and that they don't take 10 days to clear checks which Ted Miles told me, I realized I was being majorly screwed by these guys.... I had to call and threaten with police and legal action and demand loan to be payed off immediately at which point Ted went to bank and payed off my loan that day.... what a crock of shit and horrible business practice. Not ethical people don't do business here for risk of being scammed or worse possibly robbed for assets. Never had I had a experience like this with a major business that has been around Atascadero for years... thought was the right place to go but was a huge mistake and headache lasting almost a month... beware read more

I would typically not shop at a used car dealer, but Ted Miles had some pretty great reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. I recently purchased a Subaru from Ted and it ended up having some problems within the first month. Although not too happy about it, Ted willingly took care of the repair expenses, which totaled over $4500. He easily lost quite a bit of money on the deal and was willing to go in half with me on the rental car expense accrued while my car was in the shop.
