I've ordered from this location for 5+ yrs now & last night was the LAST I will ever order from Pasquale's!!! Having ordered the SAME EXACT item for that long, having name/address/phone # shows & proves my dedication for that long, but given the wrong pie for something I've ordered for that long, argued about the miscalculation of an individual NOT taking responsibility for their mistake & being charged for something I DID NOT order is very unacceptable!!! No apologies were given, but requesting more $ for an order that's been overpriced on is ridiculousness because I haven't received from what I've ordered for so many years. My wife and I order our pizza by phone and I set my timer leaving enough time to drive there. Pasquale's Freeport Road location is extremely busy but its never caused a delay. Theirs is our go-to pizzeria after having been disappointed other places (except for Mineos in Squirrel Hill). read more

I've been a customer at Pasquale's Pizza Penn Hills location for over over 15 years and have always had a great experience. Sadly this most recent experience has ended my customer relationship. I placed an order via phone and was taken back by the pricing. It didn't register until after I paid. I called back to understand the total and to inform them that their online menu did not reflect the total I paid. The crew member got the supervisor Christa. She explained the price difference and I expressed my concern and asked them to update the online menu. She immediately became defensive, dismissive, combative and rude. She did not show consumer empathy nor did she offer a coupon or a free item for the inconvenience. As a manager, it's a known fact that more is resolved with compassion attentiveness and regard. Unfortunately the conversation ended and I was left with great disappointment. I asked the delivery driver for her name and he refused to give her name and his name. I was able to find this information on the sales receipt. It's quite disheartening to know that customer loyalty is no longer treated in high regard. read more

So disgusted. Placed an order with Pasquale's Pizzeria on Freeport Road for one of their specials Pizza and hoagie. I requested a cheese steak and the staff told me it came with onions and peppers. I asked if I could get the onions and peppers on the side due to my wife getting indigestion from them. The staff said sure. Upon getting home and opening the sandwich there lays big slices or red onions on the hoagie. I called (Feb. 11, 2023 @7:39pm) to inform the store of the error and immediately the person on the other side stated that the sandwich was made as ordered. If that was so.. why was the banana peppers placed in a separate bag? He did not want to hear anything I said. He just kept stating that the order was correct. He was so disruptive that I didn't even get to tell him that my hoagie bread was burnt. Just make yourself a Tombstone and save yourself $10. The sausage is frozen little pellets which basically taste like cat food. The crust is flavorless, and more card board than dough. In a neighborhood where pizza shops seemingly go to die, Pasquale's is the latest business giving it the ol' college try in Aspinwall. Apparently they are a local chain of sorts, having five other locations scattered around the greater Pittsburgh area. Their Aspinwall location is right on Freeport Road next to the karate studio (because why WOULDN'T you want to smell pizza while you're working on your black belt, am I right?) Anyway, my husband and I decided to give this new place a shot a month or so ago. We ordered some very basic pizza shop goodies -- a large cheese pizza, some boneless buffalo wings, and cheesy garlic bread. We live close by and opted to walk over to pick it up, but they do offer delivery to the surrounding areas. The verdict is that this is just another very average pizza place. Nothing special. The cheese pizza was good, but not great. The cheese was a little plastic-y tasting and the sauce was a bit bland. We did enjoy the thick and chewy crust, however. The boneless wings were baked, not fried, so they were not greasy, which is a good thing. And while they were sufficiently meaty and crunchy, they were sparsely sauced...in fact, about half of the wings didn't have any sauce at all. Shame, shame, Pasquale's! Lastly, the garlic cheese bread, again, was nothing special. I was hoping for a delicious, garlicky, butter-soaked bread bonanza, but instead was met with a rather bland, sparsely-buttered piece of french bread with some cheese on it. Sad trombone. Overall, I was not super impressed. They've only been open for a few months, so maybe they're still working out the kinks, and for that reason I might give 'em another try someday, who knows? read more

HORRIBLE. They made the pizza undercooked and way to much cheese and when i asked them to remake it, they said no. Then the owner or whoever the older guy is THROWS THE PIZZA IN FRONT OF ME once i asked for a refund. I don't know how they treat all their customers but i am a young black male and i felt they didn't care how they conduct business with me whatsoever. Place an order for pizza and hoagie pizza was so greasy the hoagie was suppose to have meat,cheese and lettuces and onion and peppers on the side when I got home it had onion and peppers on the sandwich called to let them know so I could take it back and get it corrected and the guy was so nasty could not get a word in he just kept over talking me and saying he was right this is the second time I thought we give them another chance however it did not work out and I will never go back. When you need pizza cheap and quick, this is the place! Love the style crust they have! And when you get bacon on your Za, it's not too greasy! I thought the pizza here was very good. It reminded me a bit of Little Ceasar's deep dish pizza. Which is amazing, and I want to emphasize deep dish and not regular $5 Little Ceasar's mind you. While the cheese, thickness, and sauce reminded me of it, I have to say that the crust at Pasquale's was much better. Perfectly crispy. It's definitely one of my new favorite places, and they have good deals if you pick up. read more

I wish I could a leave a zero star review as my experience was so terrible with them. I was a big fan of this place until now. I was ordering a pizza and couldn't read someone else's handwriting to see what they wanted. As I am passing the phone to that person to have them order their food the person on the other end mumbles and says clear as day "Jesus Christ" in a rude way. I understand if you are busy but you still have to maintain customer service no matter how annoyed you are with your job. I do it as a retail manager. They could have said can you call back when you know as we are busy instead of a rude attitude and comment. This place was great until today and it has nothing to do with the food. Treating your customers with disrespect will only hurt your business and I will be sure to tell anyone who ever wants pizza never to call this place based on their disrespectful customer service. The fact it was 11:30 am I highly doubt they were busy. Not only that I have found a lady bug in the bottom of my salad before from here. I ordered food from here a few nights ago, and went to pick it up, since it is very close to my home. The service was good, polite but not very knowledgeable of the menu and specials. I returned home with my order, just not what i would expect from a small chain pizza place. The buffalo chicken hoagie was cold, the chicken was of the frozen and with some franks red hot drenching it and cheese. Could not put myself through eating it. The wings looked as if they were harvested from market square pigeons, they were cruncky and grease ridden. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and quickly realized this place should not be making pizza. The crust was bland and soggy and amounted to not much of it. The sauce could have been directly from a can, and the cheese was like paste. Will not be ordering again. Decent, probably my favorite pizza in the Aspinwall area. I've only ordered their pizza and can say I've yet to be disappointed. The crust has a nice crunch to it and is chewy, with a dusting of cornmeal. The toppings have always been generous, with a good sauce and cheese. Staff are friendly for as miserable as they must feel working in that heat. It's always hot as hell inside, which doesn't matter to me for takeout. read more

I had the pleasure of trying Pasquale's yesterday. We ordered the spinach bacon pizza and a steak salad. There was not nearly enough fries and steak on that salad. We were shocked at how little of each that there was. Have had these salads everywhere and usually there is enough fries and meat. Before I ate anything, I called Pasquale's and they were nice and they stated that they weigh everything... I wasn't cool with that at all. And I responded with something... However, I put the steak and fries on a plate with some of the lettuce, onions, green pepper slices, cheese, and ate it. Delicious! The steak was perfect. What a flavor. We just needed more of it, to justify the cost. The ranch dressing was tasty stuff. I liked how thinly they sliced the onions and peppers. The pizza was fantastic! Ample toppings and yummy flavor. Will definitely order from Pasquale's Pizzaria in Aspinwall again. read more

I know it's hard to review a pizza place, because either it's good or it's not. Pasquale's is most definitely good. What prompted me to write this was my delivery's experience the other day. It was the hottest pizza I have ever had delivered. Not only that, while I was trying to balance everything at the door, the delivery guy held the door for me. Little things make a difference. As far as food goes, the pizza is good and they don't skimp on toppings. The subs are excellent as well. read more

I was thrilled to find a pizza shop offering gluten free crust. It is only available in the small size, which has 6 smallish slices. I chose the Chicken Broccoli speciality pizza which has white sauce, chicken, broccoli, tomato, and extra cheese. I requested that they hold the tomato and add mushrooms instead. I ate three slices (they are small, it's a 10" crust) and savored every bite. The next day I heated the remaining three slices. It wasn't quite as good reheated and I blotted it with paper toweling to remove extra oil. But it was still a good meal. I appreciated that the broccoli topping was relatively finely chopped, no large florets to manage. Very good flavor. I wish that I lived closer, but their number is going into my contacts list!!
