Food- Everything was close to perfection. Appetizers we ordered: Gnocchi Alla Romana-This was a four cheese appetizer, quite rich and tasty. Gamberi e Fagiolini- It consisted of sautéed shrimps with tomatoes, beans and garlic. Extremely refreshing and light. Entrees- Lumache con Salsa Rosata al Cognac- This pasta had amazing fresh tomato taste with cream,butter,and mozzarella. Ravioli di Pera e Taleggio al Cacio e Pepe- Pear infused ravioli as well as cheese. I wanted a bit more flavor of pear in this but nonetheless was good. Desserts- They have homemade desserts. I was here a couple of weeks ago was the first time in many years the owner Chef came out to say hello which was very nice the restaurant is decorated very nicely now I'm sure all the food is very good however I didn't really like what I ordered but that's my fault it's Italian but they also have a lot of game dishes which is something I would not tend to order or try but that's just me no bar just a wine or probably beer. My husband had the asobuco which was very good but he would have preferred chicken parm and when he asked about it the waiter who was nice but kind of laughed at my husband saying oh we don't have that kind of stuff here go down to a pizza place for that which my husband did not appreciate. I asked if I could have shrimp scampi and he said if it's not on the menu now really shrimp linguine butter and garlic could have been made easily. We had a great waiter named Sam, full of personality, we loved him. Now to the most important part...the food! I ordered something the rabbit, wild boar and beef ravioli the flavor is something indescribable but I'm gonna try. It was rich, flavorful and the sauce is absolutely incredible. After being away for a while we decided to return to Pasta And... The ambience is great. The service is wonderful. We decided to try a few different dishes as we hoped to bring our friends in the future. We ordered the papperdelle with a Bolognese sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly but the sauce was a bit too thick and salty. If I had to describe it, it was as though it was reduced too much. We then ordered the osso buco with linguine . It was fantastic. No complaints. Beautiful presentation, meat falling off the bone, wonderful sauce. The meat ravioli on the other hand was cooked well but again served with a cloying sauce. We have dined here a few times and we love it! The homemade pasta doesn't disappoint and we love the romantic vibe of the restaurant. The restaurant is family owned, from Northern Italy, and is about as authentic as you can get. The four cheese gnocchi appetizer is a must. My favorite is the Diavoletti - spicy and delicious ravioli. My husband likes the bolognese or the osso bucco. Be sure to check out their specials too. Our server was very kind and explained the menu to us, he answered all of our questions and gave us clear explanations of the dish which was extremely helpful when looking at a fancier menu. I was worried that we would still be hungry after the ravioli but we were surprisingly satisfied. It was the perfect amount of food for us and the ravioli had a generous amount of filling which was the highlight of the night. Pasta and... is almost hidden, as if out of reach for the ones not truly looking for it. I believe the only way to know about it is Word of Mouth or Yelp. Honestly, it's located in a generic looking plaza, not very well lit, small, and next to a pizza delivery chain. You would easily miss it if not going there intentionally. Thankfully, my friend found it on yelp and we got to experience their authentic Italian Cuisine. Reservations are recommended since, as mentioned, the place is small. This is a good thing... this way, you get excellent service, and food that tastes fresh, cooked to order, and not rushed in any way. Early evening, around 7pm, seems to be their busy time and it does get a bit loud, but not even when they are completely full do your servers forget about you or your table. Not even the tables outside. Inside is decorated with wine corks, the bar fully stocked with wines, and the kitchen ran by the owners and couple - he's the chef, and she the pastry chef. You can tell they love what they do when you taste their dishes but also because the chef takes time to walk to each table to make sure everyone is enjoying what they ordered and the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He even scolded us when we would try to serve our own wine saying "you don't work here, let me do it. Tonight you enjoy". He recommended some wines and was right on point with what we had requested. The way he explained the specials, how proud he sounded of them and how he personally recommended certain things, persuaded us to try some of them and were not disappointed. They take pride in following their authentic Italian heritage cuisine, and making everything in house. From pastas to sauces, gnocchi to desserts, and what their famous for, their stuffed pastas like raviolis and capelletti. We started with the mussels and clams in tomato sauce. The bread service basket came right with it, perfect to dunk in the delicious sauce. The clams and mussels were big in size and flavor. Excellent dish! We also ordered one of the specials which was their (4pcs) "Large" Gnocchi with cheese sauce on top. Perfect for sharing and delicious. My friends ordered lasagna and the pear ravioli. Both really good, but I was very happy I ordered the Lobster Ravioli. These came with shrimp, calamari, and scallops, all in a cognac pink sauce that makes you almost want to lick the plate. This dish was, as our waiter said when I ordered it, and "excellent choice". For dessert he strongly suggested we tried the tiramisu, and the hazelnut cake. The cake is more like a tart and loved the actual pieces of nuts in it. But my favorite was the Tiramisu. This was light, airy, not too overpowering in coffee taste, really well made. As we asked for our check, our waiter asked to allow him to bring one more thing to the table before we left... he came with 3 shots of limoncello as an aperitif. We chose a nice Italian red wine with the help of our host, We shared an antipasto that was delicious-beef carpaccio, arugula,Pecorino Romano & black truffle. Went here during the week for a birthday. Nick our waiter was so friendly and made food recommendations since we were a party of 7. They are from Northern Italy so a bit different so we decided to all share appetizers and main courses. Each plate was better than the next. This is Much deserved. The best quality Italian food I have ever had. I was concerned that they didn't have salt and pepper on the tables but after the polenta appetizer came out I realized the chef understands his job. Luigi came out with wine for us. The risotto is perfectly seasoned and you can actually see saffron threads throughout. It is so hard to find Italian food that actually uses fresh seafood in their risotto bc it's so tempting for places to mask the flavor of frozen bagged seafood to cut corners. Not a single corner was cut here. Bomb wine. Fresh ingredients and quality seafood and meats. I don't really like osso bucco but this chef made me eat the whole plate. I need to go back. I have to go back. I'm dying to try their ravioli. Man, if you haven't been here make that reservation via email if you like Italian food. It's small inside so we sat outside. I'll never be able to give this spot enough stars. I was first introduced to this humble, yet delicious Northern Italian spot when a friend held an intimate baby shower there. I say intimate because the restaurant only holds about 5 tables inside with a few more for outdoor seating. The family run business is located in a simple shopping center, so be on the look out as to not miss it. What you may think the place is lacking in "extravaganza" factor for location, is completely made up for with the detail. Fresh flowers at every table, outstanding service & top notch ingredients. First off ALL pastas are made in house which is a real gem in South Florida. The family works with a number of Italian vendors to ensure top quality and unique ingredients. Their wine selection is impeccable! Now let's get started on the food from my most recent visit: Antipasti- we did the 5 meats plate: Salami, Prosciutto, Speck, Mortadella & Braseola. All were delicious but my favorite thing was the Speck, my husbands favorite was the Braseola. ZUPPE- I literally crave this pasta e fagioli soup. I've never had anything like it elsewhere. With fresh noodles, beans and pesto in the broth, you'll be left wanting to lick the bowl. Fresh Pasta- Lasagna. Hands down the most incredible lasagna I have ever had. Their bolognese is flavorful and hearty and the layers of fresh pasta sheets make you realize you've been eating lasagna wrong all this time. Secundi: we went with the squid ink pasta that was topped with u-10 shrimp, clams, mussels, and calamari. The freshness of the seafood was evident and is complimented very nicely by the white wine, caper & olive sauce it is tossed in. Dolce: we ended with the classic Tiramisu & Espresso combo and were. We'd tried to go here a couple years back and couldn't get a reservation so hadn't been back. When looking for some place new to us to celebrate our un-anniversary (the day we met), we reached out to fellow Yelpers for suggestions. We chose this restaurant as it seemed more romantic. When we entered, a bit early for our reservation, the room was empty except for one two top table paying and a four top. So where do they seat us? Right next to the only occupied table! We felt we were encroaching on their privacy. At the worst table in the house. Our waiter had to be asked what the specials of the evening were; after taking my husband's wine order, he never asked what I'd like to drink...just left. After my husband was served, he still didn't ask. I finally flagged him down and ordered my drink. Later on, we got another waiter to bring us some butter for the table. We started with an order of prosciutto and melon which we told him we wanted to share. Most restaurants split this in the kitchen or at least bring an extra plate. Nope, just disappeared. So I used my bread plate. Then when he cleared the empty melon plate from in front of my husband, he left the used bread plate sitting in front of me. Our entrees were good. My husband enjoyed his bucatini puttanesca which they made a bit spicy to his taste. My beef ravioli were cooked quite al dente and covered in a beefy sauce with small chunks of meat. We asked about desserts when offered coffee. Why did we have to pull teeth to find out what they had? Guess we weren't worthy enough.., We noticed that the 4-top next to us were all enjoying a small glass each of something and figured it to be Limoncello. In talking to them, they explained that they were given this as a gift for their first visit there. We laughed and said it's our first time here and it's our anniversary and we didn't get any! They felt bad for us. One gentlemen said he was a minister and offered to redo our vows. We thanked them, paid the bill and left as fast as we could. Oh well... read more

With reservations and arriving 20 minutes early, We were crammed into a 2 top next to an occupied four top with no space for privacy for either party. The only other 2 top was occupied already. A party of 2 arrived right after us and were seated at a four top next to the door. At the end of our meal we noticed the 4 top had received Lemoncello with their check. Not receiving the same, I asked where they saw the lemoncello on the menu and they explained it was complimentary. This place is the definition of a fine dining experience! From the minute we got there, the service was impeccable and the attention to detail really made us feel as though we were in a restaurant in New York. The food was INCREDIBLE! We ordered the scallops to start and I ordered the truffle ravioli while my husband ordered the lobster ravioli. They were all delicious, the kind of food where you want to just take a second to savor all of the different flavors because they are so delicious. This was truly a culinary experience, not just a quick dinner out. We later had a drink in the bar adjacent to the restaurant where we spent some time talking to the bartender and some of the staff.
