Lemon chicken soup

I came here on a Sunday . It was crowded but I was able to be seated fast. I ordered soup and a shrimp plate. The lemon soup was good and the shrimp plate was ok. They say that it's broiled but it's not. They just put seasoning on it. Everything needed salt but it was ok l. I also bought one of their chocolate chip cookies. It was delicious!

10/10, all the stars! I can't say enough good things about Pasta Bella. Such a hidden gem. From the outside, they don't look like too much but their food was everything! When we first walked in, we saw a dessert & pastries counter with all freshly made desserts. Cakes, cheesecakes, half & half, baklava. I ended up getting the strawberry cheesecake & the lemon cake. Those slices are HUGE! 3 Cheesecake Factory slices type huge. Definitely bang for your buck. The restaurant itself is super big, with 2 sides & a bar so we didn't have a wait. We were immediately met by the server who was very nice & attentive. We had the black rasp'berita & the lemon fizz. Both were yummy! To eat, we did the risotto balls appetizer, Greek salad, Caesar salad, shrimp Alfredo, & steak & mushroom bucatini. Besides the humongous portions on everything, everything was so good! The salads tasted fresh, the risotto balls were fried perfect on the outside but perfectly soft on the inside, the Alfredo was so creamy & didn't feel thick or heavy. It's been years since I had Alfredo that good. The star was the bucatini tho. The cook on that skirt steak? *chefs kiss* the most tender, flavorful steak! The manger even stopped by to ask us how everything was which we appreciated. I've been looking for a good pasta spot & this place exceeded all expectations. The spaces was big & had plenty parking, the staff was friendly & attentive, the prices were more than reasonable for the portions, & everything we tasted was a hit! So glad we found it!

Food was good for the most part but was not happy about the baked ziti. It looked like they just dumped and bunch of cheese on top of the noodles. Since they remodeled the restaurant and service has been good. However our server didn't come check on us very often. Doesn't mean we won't go back just means we will get a different server.

If you've been searching for authentic Italian food, look no further! Pasta Bella is the real deal. The menu was limitless. I was almost overwhelmed by all of the choices. The service was top tier. The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was so flavorful! The portions were very generous. I don't think I got a picture of the bread and dipping sauce, but be careful.... You can seriously fill up on that alone. The sauce is a red sauce filled with veggies and sausage.....delicious! My family and I ordered several different entrees....each one was amazing! I almost forgot... the prices are very reasonable. We spent less than $150 for a family of 5!! We didn't get dessert, but they have a dessert case filled with the most delectable array of desserts.....maybe next time! Don't just take my word for it.... You definitely have to visit!!

Pasta Bella starts you off with great-tasting table bread, which is always a plus. The Cajun chicken Alfredo was flavorful and really hit the spot. They also have a cake bar if you're in the mood for dessert after your meal. The service was good, and the restaurant has a chill, relaxed atmosphere.

Went on a Sunday evening and only a third to half of the dining room was occupied. Plenty of parking. Hostess sat us immediately. The table was a little dirty along with some noticeable food stains on the condiments. A server promptly gave us fresh and hot bread and sausage and pepper sauce- both were great. The waitress was also quick at taking the drink order and bring them to the table. The waitress took our food order within an adequate amount of time. The chicken minestrone soup was okay. We both got entrees from the chefs special menu. Italian hot honey chicken was great but I do wish the potatoes and vegetables had more flavor. The chicken Picasso was great but I think it would be better with pasta noodles instead of gnocchi. The meals were definitely enough for leftovers for the next day. Way too full to get dessert so unable to comment but the display case had a lot of options that looked great.

We got a few pizzas and sides for takeout from Pasta Bella and they were great! We definitely must return for cake. The pizza was pretty good, a but expensive but they have a BOGO cheese pizza deal that saved us a few dollars. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is pretty! They have a beautiful bakery at the front that is drool worthy.

Jack Daniels pork chops

As always dining experience was great! Was seated right away which was nice on a Saturday evening. Love the decor in the dining rooms and next time will have to sit out on the patio. Iris, our waitress came right over and took our drink orders while we had time to browse the menu. There were some delicious looking specials along with the regular menu items while range from a variety of pasta dishes to pizzas, sandwiches, wings and such. There is something for everyone on this menu. After the complimentary garlic rolls and sausages in marinara sauce, We then had the seafood stuffed mushrooms. These are served with an Alfredo creme sauce and are one of my favorites. Tonight's entree was the Penne Mardi Gras. Blackened chicken and shrimp served over penne with sausage and sun dried tomatoes in an Cajun Alfredo sauce. It was delicious but a tad salty. The flavor overall was good and of course portion was generous. I probably finished one third. My dining companions had a gyro plate that has the sandwich, fries and a small Greek salad and seafood Stephanie which is salmon, shrimp, clams and mussels in a marinara served over angel hair with a pink creme sauce. . Both of those plates were perfect also. We then ordered some dessert to go. Couldn't eat another bite!

Hero flavors in every dish on my visit on a cold, but sunny, Tuesday in mid-March just after 5PM…read more The covered patio area was empty but staged for the impending nice weather while inside there were about 20 two-seater tables (some pushed together and in use by larger parties) as well as a bar. Over the bar was a large screen TV showing beautiful scenes of Italy, with contemporary Italian pop playing in the background. I started with the soup of the day, which was lobster bisque that was so full of lobster that I would call it a stew versus a soup. The complimentary bread was slightly toasted and topped with aromatic herbs that paired perfectly with the olive oil with which it was served. My entree was a special, and was the short rib. There was nothing "short" about it as the huge beef rib had a bone that overhung the plate that a caveman would be proud to own. The beef was fork tender and the steak knife provided with it wasn't necessary. It was paired with a delicious and sweet wine sauce. And the side was tender gnocchi (al tartufo) in a rich and creamy sauce flavored with truffle. Since they also have Risotto al Tartufo on the menu, that will definitely be on my list for my next visit. And I definitely want to bring my wife to that next visit because the flavor and food were so wonderful, it's a great place for a date night.

We had a spontaneous night out and I was in the mood for Italian. Mezza Luna has really great…read morereviews and I was excited to try something new. The restaurant is small but quaint. It was chilly went we visited, but on a nice day, the patio would be nice too. We ordered and were not in any kind of hurry. Probably a good thing, since the kitchen seemed to be very backed up and the food came out very slowly. The servers also seemed to be a little overwhelmed, so I'm wondering if the crowd was heavier than expected. Please don't take this as complaint - the service staff were very friendly and did their best to keep diners smiling. Unfortunately - the food was a little underwhelming. We ordered calamari - it was slightly over cooked and chewy. For dinner, we had the gnocchi and chicken saltimbocca. The safe in the chicken dish was overpowering (I ended up having to scrape it off) and the chicken was overcooked. It says a lot that my favorite thing on the plate was the sautéed spinach (which was delicious!). I really, really wanted to love this place, but I'm not sure I would visit again. There are too many places in this area that have much better food for the same price point.

I thought I had already left a scathing review after my experience, but for some reason, I did not. I don't remember what I ordered the one and only time my husband and I ate at this restaurant, but I do remember that it was inedible, so I sent it back, and ordered something else. Later, when the bill arrived, I saw they had charged me for half of my first meal. So I flagged the server about it, and they were like "well you ate half of it " and I explained I had taken 2-3 bites, the later ones simply to make sure I did indeed dislike it, and then my husband had a bite to confirm I wasn't tripping and that it was in fact terrible. 3-4 bites was NOT half the meal. It wasn't even a quarter. When I tried to push back on that, I was told "well, we know what our portion sizes look like, and half the meat was missing." The crazy part about this is that they seemed to truly believe I had gotten double the meat portion they had actually put in front of me. It was enraging. We paid and vowed to never return. I have told anyone who would listen about the time a restaurant refused to comp an entree that sucked because they accused me of l y i n g about how much of the meal I had consumed. The crazy part is that my husband and I would have returned to try this place again had the staff just believed me from the jump that I wasn't trying to pull a fast one. I normally am never happy about a restaurant closing, but Piastra? Good riddance.

My wife and I have dined here twice now; once on our wedding night and again on our Anniversary…read more Neither time did they disappoint us, but this most recent visit my tagliatelle nero di mare pasta could have benefitted from a little adjustment. The overwhelming flavor came from the dried Calabrian chiles, which had not been reconstituted properly into the sauce, so it also left me wondering whether the gritty bites came from that or if the clams & mussels had been cleaned properly. Regardless, the sauce lacked depth. The fresh pasta clung together in clumps, an indication that the chef had not mixed it diligently during the cooking process, but from a visual perspective, it looked to be on point. I must confess, the lamb carpaccio is one of the most distinct, unique dishes that I have tasted in quite a while; as a caveat to that, it is a bold flavor profile, so if you prefer a neutral, familiar red meat such as beef, proceed with caution and an open mind. My wife had the lobster and cavatelli, which was by far the most fully developed dish of all, creamy savory richness coating slightly dense bites of pasta, reminiscent of gnocchi, and the lobster was definitely present, which is the exception rather than the rule with most creamy dishes advertised to contain lobster. Our server was attentive, professional, polite, personable & well spoken. I can't say that I have any critiques in that area. Though she did not introduce herself, I presume she was the owner, came by to ensure that our meal was more than satisfactory. Even the lady tending to our drinks revisited the table with diligence. The inside has a very open floor plan, although it could probably have a layout redesign so that some tables don't make some patrons feel as though they are in the way. The decor is a blend of industrial chic with modern, local art lining the walls, most pieces being slightly above average amateur status. They have a private dining area dedicated to larger parties if you plan ahead and give them notice. There seemed to only be one lavatory for the whole restaurant, but it's possible that I didn't look long enough. All in all, a nice place for Italian food if you want to break free from the typical American-Italian offerings. Our meal was $130 for two entrees, two glasses of wine, an appetizer and a desert, with tip included. I'd say that's about on par with just about every other restaurant that doesn't have a drive thru. Buon appetito & mangia!

Free small parking lot in front. Free extra parking across the street. The total was about $150 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and a dessert. Pros The quiet, intimate, and classy atmosphere was exactly what I needed for my family. When we first arrived, our table was not ready and we had to wait outside. However we were given continuous updates on when the table would be ready, they apologized, and they were very understanding. Considering we were a large party in an intimate space, we understood and only waited about 20 minutes before the table was ready. You could tell the food was fresh, the orders came fast, and the service was amazing. The fresh in house pasta took everything to the next level. It was the perfect night out. Cons The establishment is intimate so I do not think it would ideal for extra large parties. I had a party of 8 at 8PM but I dont know if they could have accomodated us if it was any earlier during prime dinner time. I wish they had a better parking situation but its not bad and its free.
