IN LOVE! I came here with my girly this past Monday. The place is not located in a fancy area, but I came for food, not a tourist attraction. I heard the gyros here were amazing. When you sit down, they bring you free rolls and also a free sausage stew mixture (free after 4pm). Oh man, just those two alone were super delicious. Garlic on the bread was just right. The GYRO platter is what takes the CAKE of the entire place. Although its a tad bit pricey at $11, you get a MASSIVE plate. Greek salad, generous amount of fries, and a big cornucopia sized Gyro wrap. I ate like a viking and failed to finish 3/4ths of the entire plate. I took the rest home, reheated next day, and it was fantastic. The service was quick, our server was kind and always ontop of refills. Occassionally hanging out nearby in case I had a request (I had a few that day because I'm a picky eater). No complaints at all! I tipped our good man really well for being extremely proactive. I could eat here two days in a row, my tastebuds salivate thinking of going back. It's WELL worth the money and time. I'll be moving to Canton, GA soon and I will make a special trip just to get my Gyro addiction taken care of. read more

Mmmm, describes this place perfectly. I mean what else can I say that hasn't been said. I do have to disagree with Winst D. below though. The meals are not less than $15, it's more like $10-$12 or less. LOL I mean the plates are huge. You get so much for your money and not to mention the deliciousness of it all. We occasionally go here for lunch and i've also brought my fiance and a friend here before for dinner. You never leave empty handed and full bellied. When I mean not being empty handed I mean you will ALWAYS have a to go box in one hand and the other rubbin' yo' belly. lol My favs, the porch chops (I honestly prefer no to to eat red meat but I couldnt resist one day. The table next to me ordered them, they smelled and looked so tasty, and I said what heck. lol) and a side of veggies, the chicken; this chicken that chicken but mostly the chicken parmisian (lol), all of their chicken meals are great!. They also include garlic butter rolls and a cup of soup or salad. Mmmmm. They usually offer a minestrone, a lemon chicken, or a seafood bisque for your soup choices. The seafood bisque is extremelly hearty so you will definitely be leaving with most of your entree in a to go box if you order this one. The minestrone is usually what I get. I've never had a minestrone like a Pasta Bella minestrone. The waitstaff is freindly but changes alot (they switch staff between their other restaurant, the Marietta Diner) and the ambiance can be good for couples or groups. I honestly have yet to try the desserts because i'm too full when lunch or dinner is done. This restaurant is a greek restaurant that serves italian food. Very odd. All in all though you get a delicious meal (O my goodness its good) in a very large quantity that costs you very little. Take your boyfriend/ girlfriend there, your family, your grandparents, kids....just get a whole group together and take them there. Trust me they can accomodate. read more

The food was good!! The environment was not. My gf and I were seated and we immediately overheard our waiter talking to another table (very loudly) about his political views. He can have whatever views he wants but there is a time and place for that and this was not the place. The things he was talking about made me and my gf very uncomfortable. He began to talk about the Jan. 6th attack on the capital and said something along the lines of "it was actually really peaceful, it could've been a lot worse...we have guns!!" and "there's more of us than them!". This obviously made us uncomfortable and I immediately asked for us to be moved out of his section. We were there to eat dinner, not get political views pushed down our throats. It's low-level, cheap Italian food. But there's a lot of positives about this place. If you live around this area, they always mail coupons to you. So you can take advantage of the coupons every time you come here. Also, they give you tons of food. It's a major steal. They give you so much food, you can pack it up and eat it for lunch the next day. Honestly, if you can cook a mean dish of pasta, just cook at home. It will be cheaper. But if you feel lazy to cook and clean the dishes, cut up your coupons and come here. It's a great second choice. read more

This is another highly rated place in the area near my office (Smyrna / Vinings / Mableton). I did not realize it, until I arrived and read the menu, that this place is part of the same restaurant group that includes Marietta Diner and Marietta Fish Market. I looked over the lunch menu and decided on a stromboli that had cheese, italian sausage, and pepperoni. Garlic knots were brought out first and they were fantastic. My only complaint was that it took FOREVER for my stromboli to arrive. The waitress had to tell me, three or four times, that my food would be coming out soon. I think it took at least 40 minutes before I got my stromboli. The good news is that they kept bringing me garlic knots in the meantime. The bad news is that I probably filled up on those garlic knots and I basically had to take my stromboli to go (after having maybe a couple of bites). The stromboli was very good and perhaps more than enough for two people; however, it was not a cheap lunch; I think my bill came to about 14 bucks. The food here is certainly good but perhaps not great. Quite frankly, Johnny's New York Style Pizza (the one near my place of work) is way closer to my office, has faster service, and offers the same quality / quantity of food at lower prices. read more

It is a typical "Atlanta Diner" style menu (like Marietta Diner etc) that has way too many things for most of it to not likely be frozen. I like when a restaurant uses fresh, local ingredients - so I don't eat here very often. They are fine for a meal and choices are very limited in the area frankly, but there is nothing there that anyone in my family has every gotten that is that much better than what you could probably pull out of a grocery store freezer for about half the price. If you are only looking "to not cook tonight" and you have a lower expectation on presentation, quality and taste then this place is fine. I am a foodie, so that is likely why I was just "eh" about them. You will certainly never hear "this is just sublime" but the general feeling is "this is fine" - and it is sort of shrug worthy. In fairness I feel the same way about the other diners in town (and I do think the cake case is lovely - but again, I prefer cakes made from scratch and with butter etc. - they look great but just taste "okay" like everything else). read more

This place has really fallen in quality. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce in the past and got a zesty meaty tomatoey sauce. This time i recieved a watery plate of bland pasta with zero tomato sauce and a small amount of meat mixed in it. I have had better spaghetti out of a can. Its almost like Mama June was back there in the kitchen making "sketty". Restrant also is becoming dingy and worn looking. read more

I have drove past Pasta Bella for years and never even thought about trying it until I visited the Marietta Fish Market and discovered they were all in the same restaurant family. On Friday I picked up a catering order of Lasagna and Salad to take out to a friends house who lost their mother to cancer so they would not have to cook. My friend said the food was really good so my husband and I decided to have dinner there on Saturday to check it out for ourselves. We ordered the Seafood Lasagna and Chicken Pasta Bella. The portions are huge! OMG we could have feed 4 more people with all the food we had. The food was good and our server Beth was awesome! We will be back to try the other items on the menu. They have pizza and seafood and all other sorts of items on the menu and good looking deserts. read more

Pasta Bella is about as Italian as my last review of Willy's was Mexican. This place has no business calling themselves Italian. Pasta Bella has a diner style menu (same owners and style to Marietta Diner) with some Italian items, some Greek items, and a lot of basic diner staples. From the outside, the architecture of the restuarant resembles a building you would see in New Mexico (with stucko and Native American style painting) than an Italian Restuarant. Perhaps the Greek owners need to take a trip to Italy?? I ordered stuffed shells and my girlfriend ordered baked raviolli, which where both smothered with an odd layer of Mozerella cheese. The meat sauce has a weird sweet taste and looks pretty close to cat food. The overall quality of the food seemed very low. I do give the place two stars becuase the service was very good. They also give you complimentary garlic rolls and a tomato sausage starter that was the best part of the meal. All in all, I wouldn't rush back, 2 stars. read more

OMG!!! Yum! I would've given 5 stars had it not been for a couple of small glitches. We recently moved to Austell and are exploring the nearby eateries when we happened upon Pasta Bella. Edna, our server, I believe was new and nervous, but seemed eager to please. There were a couple of issues with our drink order, and significant wait for our entrees. I think there must've been a mix-up in the kitchen, but it definitely was worth the wait. I literally embarrassed myself with the rolls and the tomato/pepper/sausage soup served when we sat down..... the only thing I can compare it to is a Krispy Kreme - which in my book is the ultimate. That's some good sh!t. I wanted the Lasanga but being conservative, I ordered the Chicken Parm. My husband ordered the Calzone, both of which were OUTSTANDING. We also ordered cake to go. I love Pasta Bella. This is the most hospitable place I've been to. They greet you with fresh garlic rolls and this sauce with sausage. I could stop right there. Their salads are fresh, flavorful. My favorite entrees are chicken piccata, chicken parmigiana and chicken Marsala. Their pastas are great with lots to take home for tomorrow. And dessert....they have the most beautiful desserts.! Last night, my family and I went here for dinner. Of course the parking lot was full but inside, it was like hardly anyone was there until you got to the back of the restaurant. It wasn't super crowded at all. Our server, Leeza, was such a sweetheart and her service was amazing. She had recommended many dishes and dressing to try that she personally liked. My fiancé and I got the ceaser salad which was amazing as the dressing wasn't over powering like most establishments have. My mother-in-law got the garden salad with the strawberry vinaigrette which she liked as well. The vegetables were super fresh and that's always a good sign knowing that most places won't have something so fresh like that. We finished our salads and next thing we know, our plates come out. Talk about a huge serving of food!! We could barely finish everything because it was such a big helping that tonight, we get to have leftovers again. I got the Veal Marsala, my fiancé got the tri-color tortellini in Alfredo sauce and shrimp, my mother-in-law got the grilled salmon Angelica, and our daughter got the kids fettuccine Alfredo which looked like an adult sized portion. Remind you, you get what you pay for in portion sizes. The food is EXCELLENT!!! You don't have to doctor any of your food as the flavor is amazing. The red velvet cake and million dollar cheesecake is the bomb dot com!! I really recommend giving this place a try if you're like me and have never been before. Yes it is pricey but it's a wonderful experience for such a nice restaurant. I know I will be back again even if it's for a great salad, dessert, or dish. Thank you, Leeza for everything! I came here for the first last night with my mom as I just arrived from NY and no other restaurants were open (after 10pm). I ordered the shrimp alfredo which came with a complimentary soup of crab/broccoli and garlic bread. Came up to approximately $21. I was shocked at the price since everything down here is so much cheaper than NY BUT IT WAS WORTH THE PRICE. SOLEY BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF FOOD AND NOT THE ACTUALLY TASTINESS OF IT. The food was supposed to be spit between my mother and I, but ended up sharing between us my my 2 siblings with left overs. As for taste, the pasta was bland for me. I actually ended up seasoning it up to my liking. After that it was pretty decent. For the rest of my family, they didn't seem to be bothered with the lack of flavor. The soup was way to heavy for my liking. It tasted like I was eating diabetes, if I'm being honest. I only ate one spoon of it and that was enough for me. No one else ate the soup either for the same reason. The garlic bread was a little oily, but ok. Nothing special. As for the staff, they were pleasant. I don't remember who the guy was working behind the bar name, but he was great. Very attentive even though we were only ordering out. Even so, would I come back here? Probably not. read more

Garlic bread is good. Fettuccini Alfredo was really good, but you cannot really mess that up. Lasagna on the tour of Italy was gross. I never ask for food to be comped but seriously... cat food tasting beef (think day old Taco Bell) and the heavy helping of dry ricotta is not helping anybody. The manicotti, same, just a dry noodle wrapped around dry roll of ricotta. Chicken parmigiana was good, mine was burnt on the edges but my husband's was fine. I would return for bread, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parm. The manager did comp a percentage of our bill. The waitress was nice but the only one covering our section. On May 30th, I called to place an order for 4 family deals (3 chicken alfredos, 1 chicken Lasagna) for pick up on June 2nd. The young lady stated that 1200 is the earliest that I could pick up. That was strange considering just 2 weeks prior I placed a similar order and was told I could pick up at 1130a for that particular order. Anywho, I arrived at 1130 just inform the team that I was there. She asked what did I order. I repeated my order she said, they had down 3 chicken parmigiana, 1 chicken lasagna. She stated, okay no problem just a few minutes. I went in to see what the issue was. The cashier continues to state, it will be a few minutes. I attempted to pay with 2 different cards... CC machine is not working. I left to get cash from the bank, left one of my coworkers there and finally at 1230pm I received a text from her stating it was ready. We were there an entire hour only to receive an apology, a dry coconut cake lol (how insulting), and it was told to me the cook NEVER received the order. To make matters worse, the alfredo was DRY and all of my staff members at Wellstar were not able to eat. This is sad. I have ordered from your establishment several times in the past. The manager that was with me refuses to order from you again. My staff and I love your food. Oh, may I add there was a gentleman who appeared to be a manager NEVER approached me to acknowledge the issue. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! Also, I posted this review on FB in a private DM, they proceeded to tell me how they recently donated free meals to WellStar. What does that have to do with me and my money? Just left this place....will not be coming back! Sat in here for 30 minutes and all we got was a menu. Didn't even get water! Just a menu! And actually watched two other tables get their orders taken and drinks delivered. Trust me when I say we will not be back. From the moment we walked in, we feel in love with the smell of the food. its not an extremely decorated place but it looks nice. our server Rhonda was awesome. She wasnt hawking the table but came around at perfect intervals and was very sociable and friendly. we ordered the stuffed shells and chopped steak. Both were delicious! The portions were very nice sized. I thought the 4 shells was a couple short of enough but they are pretty fulfilling. i didn't have any room for desserts but the one i saw looked great. Portions are very large and very shareable. Seafood is always overcooked, but I usually stick to the pasta dishes. Large menu with lots of options and many many desserts to choose from. I suggest going to the case and looking at them all. Garlic rolls and sausage/peppers are complementary and always delicious. Leftovers have great reheat value! read more

I want to start by saying the problem is not the wait staff here, everywhere is having staffing issues, and our waiter was cool, calm, and collected. Our visit started a bit off as my parents asked for a table and the hostess told them "there is a wait" they asked how long and she repeated herself. Another hostess had to enter the conversation and said 10 min. Not a huge deal just struck me as strange. I ordered a Tuscan salmon and it came with soup/salad, ordered a salad. The salad came and I dug in, on my first bite I bit into something hard, pulled out what looked like a small rock. I was very confused, and the waiter came back asked how things were. I am not one to make a big deal of things so I told him and asked him to just take it. The food comes and my salmon plate is sloppy. The salmon itself looked like it was grilled well, but the sauce ruined any good texture the salmon had. The potatos underneath as well. It was also served with the same bland steamed veggie medley they serve across the whole chain. Food was not impressive, and my family agrees. I have had better Italian food at an olive garden. If you want to visit a restaurant in the chain, go to the OG Marrietta dinner. The only reason I give two stars, instead of one, is because of the waiter I had. The food was inexcusably poor for the price and the name it has on it. read more

Only been there for once but I loved the food. As soon as they sat us they brought us hot, delicious garlic bread and a stew made out of Italian sausage. Service was great, every 5 minutes 3 different people were asking us if everything was fine,probably they overdid it a bit but I prefer being asked every 5 min than the waiter forgetting all about me. I order the peperoni calzone and its the best one I had so far! lots of cheese, peperoni, big portion! and reasonable priced. My husband order the spaghetti with meat sauce, it was good but not great. I will definitely come back for more of that calzone! read more

Food was really good! The complimentary food was pretty filling. The platter we ordered was good. The calzones...goodness we couldn't even finish them lol...the cake was great! Yum! It's a bit far that's why I'm giving it a 4/4 but we would definitely visit again. Parking is free and was pretty accessible which is always a plus. read more

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Food is fantastic, portions will fill you up certainly, and the atmosphere is great. I was there yesterday sat 25 July 2020 My food came out looking bad .the shrimp Alfredo look like it had been sitting in the window for a long time the sauce was dried out so I ask for more The noodles was ok . The girl that waited on us was new very very slow as we were eating and with this COVID-19 this gurl came out clean the table across from us wiping the table and the seat back and forth with the same towel I would not be coming back here anytime soon I always got food from here but it was always to go.oh and we was waiting to b seated water came and hit me in my head and bounced off my face the manager said to me it's only water it was a big puddle on the floor and my friend said you guys need to get that up this was just a bad experience I don't know what was going on understaffed ?but this was just too much for us So please check out the your surroundings.. they get a 2 1/2 stars from me read more

I ate there with 9 other family members and we all got different things. Everything I tasted was delicious! We all had take home containers because the dishes are large portions. For me this is good for the money because the leftovers were wonderful!! The desserts(which we took home) are delicious and very large. The service was great. We haven't been in a while but had a craving for some good Italian food tonight. The garlic rolls were good, as always. The sausage in red gravy was great, as always. My fettucine carbonara was very good. My husband's chicken parm was also good. My complaint - and the reason we won't be back - was how dirty the restaurant was. The hostess handed my husband a filthy, sticky menu and then took it back and actually said to him "let me get you a clean one". My menu, while relatively clean on the outside, had pages that were sticking together. I picked up the wine list and put it right down; my fingers were sticking to it. Then we started to look around and realized how dingy and dirty the place was. Granted, it's always busy. Maybe the thought is that they are successful, so why clean it. But the booths were dingy. the carpet if filthy. The windows were filthy. And I have a photo of the dusty windowsill with a dead bug laying amid the dust and dirt. Also - the servers should know what they are offering. We asked what the soups were that night and were told 2 different soups that we weren't familiar with. We asked what they both were and she had no idea. Again, they place is usually packed and they may think that no improvements need to be made but they should take a frank, honest look around the place and clean it. read more
