Have to love the OSF lighting

We came here on our trip because my mom, who was with us, is Italian and the Old Spaghetti Factories mizithra cheese and browned butter pasta is her favorite (it's mine too!). I accidentally mixed up our reservation and came a night early, and despite a line, the still seated our party of five. The manager was super helpful and I was very grateful for his flexibility despite this being my error. We ordered our usual mizithra cheese and browned butter pastas which were exactly what we expected and love, and the kids ordered spaghettis which they devoured despite being upset they didn't have their usual options they have in US. It's hard to go wrong with the OSF and I'm glad we found time to eat at the Whistler location.

Everytime we're in Whistler, we stop by this restaurant. The service was amazing. Love the vibe. Food is always delicious and well within our budget.

We weee able to make a reservation for a party of 12. They only took a few minutes to set our table upon arrival and the server was kind enough to separate each tab in groups of families which was super helpful. The food included a soup or salad and dessert. The soup could be upgraded to French onion. There is complementary bread/butter.

If you love good food and quick service, then you should absolutely stay away from here. Didn't eat the whole day before coming here and even then I was disappointed. 2 hour wait to get a table just to sit there for another hour hungry. Had to ask for bread (that comes with the meal) 3 different times, the restaurant was packed because they overbooked tables without enough servers. The bread was warm and with the butter garlic hit the spot. My blackberry cream soda barely had a flavor, tasted like sparkling water. Then came the included soup which tasted like warm salsa. Calamari was fine but came with a taziki sauce instead of lemon aioli for some reason. And finally for the main course I got burnt breaded chicken. Spaghetti and sauce was disappointing. Italy would be waging war on Canada right now if they tried this food. Overall disappointing but cheap (ended up being $20 US). I would've never stepped foot here in the first place but the group wanted to go. Chao forever!

After walking around the village looking for something to eat we decided to try this place out despite the reviews and I will have to say the food was mediocre and the service was very slow overall. Upon arrival we were seated very quickly and the place was fairly empty we were then given a small cup of water immediately and that would do it for the water refills as we were not given any more water until I asked for it after we were done eating so to say the least I was very disappointed on that , Now off to the food the kids ordered chicken wings which they both really liked so that was good but I decided to order the spaghetti with meat sauce and in all honesty it was just bland no great taste or anything special at all , I would've been fine with sauce out of the jar from the store. Also tried the cranberry spinach salad which was decent but overall this was definitely just a one time visit for us definitely not worth a second visit.

A Whistler tradition is going to The Old Spaghetti Factory The meal includes salad or soup, bread, ice cream, tea or coffee Starters: bread and butter! eat the bread from the table, once it is gone, the waiters/waitresses will come around to replace with a new one Eat the bread! Mmmmmmm Thirst: Coffee and adding honey is always a thing for me If you haven't tried, try it once and see what you think of it Feedback is always welcome Yelpers! Clam chowder soup I love clam chowder soup! Who doesn't?! Grub: Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo Spinach and egg fettuccine noodles with alfredo sauce, sauteed prawns, mushrooms, and scallops Yum! Definitely a REPEAT on my list I remember back in the day, Old Spaghetti Factory used to have a birthday freebie spaghetti with meatballs complimentary, but no longer for Canadians. But for Americans, they still follow that tradition. Any Yelpers out there aware of this? Come on Canadians of Old Spaghetti Factory, please bring back the tradition for Canadians!

Chicken spaghetti with Mozzarella and goat cheese side salad. FREE BREAD BASKETS EACH TIME WITH HERB BUTTER BY THE WAY. VERY EUROPEAN. SIDES AND DESERT AND TEA INCLUDED WITH THEIR DISHES AND VERY GOOD ENERGY INSIDE It is very Affordable Italian cuisine- gluten free pasta is avaible but only in penne style which I always have mentioned to servers I wish they had spaghetti as well but gf version was very tasty still, got the mozzarella chicken one if I remember correctly and it was fantastic. I liked my server and it's good for two, a table (six) and I'd assume for four as well, good for the money (45-75) While in whistler but lines and service times may vary but the bartender is very efficient and their drinks are cheap and delicious, servers are swift, nice and very deserving of a tip as they work well together with the back and are aware of celiac and gluten free not being the same (not suitable for celiac as they have a lot of bread being cut here constantly)

Quattro was by far our best meal in Whistler and really the best meal we have had in a very long…read moretime. The concierge at our hotel recommended Quattro and we decided to give it a try on our first night in town. Many restaurants in Whistler have specials if you are traveling in the shoulder season, which is just as winter season has closed and summer season begins. Lucky for us it was shoulder season. The restaurant had a special four course menu in addition to the regular menu. We decided to give the three course choices a try and then we added a wine pairing with each course. The ambiance was comfortable and cozy. We sat next to the window and had a nice view. The restaurant is a bit formal, but not stuffy. We were in jeans and nice shirts and were fine. The restaurant was pretty packed, and our server was still very attentive. So let's get started on the food. We started with a bread basket which is an additional charge. It was served with butter and olive oil with balsamic. The olive oil was incredible, nice and grassy. Mr. B chose the ahi tuna tartare bruschetta. The tuna was perfectly diced and was consistent sizes which is hard to do. For his second course he had the crab bisque paired with a nice chilled rose wine. For his main he chose the house special Tagliatelle with house made eight hour Bolognese. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the Bolognese was rich and full of Italian flavors. The wine pairing for this course was a lovely Rosa Toscana wine. For his fourth and final course he choice the Budino al Cioccolato, a caramelized brown butter chantilly cream and brownie bits. and it was creamy with crunchy bits on top. This dessert was paired with a nice Moscato. I started with the Truffle Arancini. Who doesn't love truffle and fried rice balls. The truffle flavor was there, not overpowering which I appreciate and the rice was tender and it was fried and seasoned extremely well. For my second course I had a lovely crisp Caesar Salad to cut the richness of the Arancini and it was paired with a very nice Barbera wine. For my main course I chose the Fusilli with Truffles which our server said is the most popular dish and I understand why. The fusilli was tender with a bite to it, the sauce was creamy and truffle was there. The Rosa Toscana paired nicely with this dish, and for my dessert I had to go with the Limoncello Panna Cotta. It was perfectly set, with a really nice and fresh Limoncello flavor to it and the Moscato paired perfectly. We are still talking about this meal and how much we loved each dish. No it wasn't inexpensive, our meals with the wine pairing was about $200, but I don't regret it, it was amazing.

The inside looked very cool in a completely different way. It was cozy but modern, not in a rustic way. I can imagine how nice it would be in winter! 2. Food & Drink: literally no notes. Love how the cocktails are organized by flavor profile. My husband and I loved what we ordered. We also loved all the food we ordered, but the seafood tower is a must have, as well as the chocolate lava cake! 3. Service: top notch! Our server gave us great recommendations, and was attentive without rushing us. We were celebrating our anniversary and the manager brought out glasses of champagne for us. Would highly recommend for a special occasion!

It was a very disappointing experience. We haven't visited Whistler in years, I was looking forward…read moreto this trip because we had booked what I thought was the top rated restaurant there but boy was I ever wrong. Their geoduck and clam pasts tasted okay but the serving size was laughably small, 2 large bites to perhaps 4 small bites at best. The worst thing was the overcooked geoduck, they're basically large clams and anyone who's cooked and eaten clams will know that overcooked clams turn rubbery and the few bits of geoduck were as rubbery as a rubber duck. The same applies to their Roasted Ling Cod, unless you enjoy overcooked ling cod, avoid at all costs. Amongst our group we ordered 3 New Your Steaks, we ordered medium rare, to their credit they were all cooked a perfect medium rare. Trouble was they were all way over salted. Too much salt to make them enjoyable, frankly I've had much better steaks at Denny's. As part of their prix fixe menu they had smoked black cod which I normally enjoy. Here they mashed the black cod into a chip dip which they served with their house made potato chips, While the dip was okay as far as taste goes, the chips they served last week on Wednesday night were all stale, not yet rancid but definitely stale. If the manager is reading this, I suggest he take a few and taste them himself. Prices weren't out of line since this is a resort area and restaurant pretty much can count on a "captive" clientele. However value wise this place should not be anywhere near the top of your go-to list.
