AGNOLOTTI Dinner Prosciutto, spinach, ricotta and parmigiana, served with three sauces ~ herbed tomato, pesto and parmigiana creme $19.50

Great ambiance for a date night, event or even a birthday dinner! My family took my mom here for her birthday dinner and we all enjoyed everything. Great service and you can REALLY tell all the food is homemade. Parking is a little difficult since it's in the heart of the McDonough square, but i think the food is worth the little extra bit of steps.

AH-mazing. I'm a huge fan of supporting local family businesses. Been wanting to try Pasta Max for some time so I was super pumped to finally go. The food was fresh, tasty and the portions make it all worth it. Our server was very diligent with us and made us so comfortable. Can't wait to visit again. If you are near the square and looking for a bite to eat. If the wait isn't too long check them out.

A gem in the town of McDonough! Came on a work trip and this was nearby where I had to go. Everyone raved about this spot and I ended up going right when it opened at 11am! Got seated immediately and placed an order for the Black Pepper Pappadelle. It came with two bread soaked in garlic and a minestrone soup. The portion of the pasta was big and it was fairly priced. I really enjoyed the minestrone soup. Definitely loved the chill vibe here too!

Pasta Max is a hidden gem within McDonough. If you're not from the area, then you probably wouldn't know about it. Located in the McDonough square (downtown McDonough) this small intimate spot is definitely a spot to try for all the Italian lovers. The service was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and the rolls they serve are addicting! This place was established in 94' I believe and I can see why it is still in business.

First time visiting and we will definitely be back! Everything was delicious, the service was phenomenal, and just a perfect little spot in McDonough!

This is a great local spot for pasta. I've been several times and have never had a bad experience. All of their pizzas are good. The pastas I've had are pretty good. All the soups are really good as well. The servers are always very nice and helpful. This is a probably not the best place if you want to bring a large group though. I wouldn't bring more than 4 people at a time because the restaurant is kind of small and they can only do so much. Overall I'm going to keep coming back.

We had an amazing time at Pasta Max Cafe. The food was incredible. Our waitress was very friendly and quick on the service. There was a bit of a wait to get a table but absolutely worth it!!

We waited almost an hour to be seated and the food is not worth the wait. The restaurant is very small and could use some updates on the decor. The rolls they serve taste store bought with butter and garlic thrown on top. The Crispy Eggplant was very bland and just tastes like fried batter. The Caesar Salad was decent. The Tri-Color Bowties were the best thing we had and the only thing I'd consider going back for. It's very flavorful and seasoned well. The Penne Rigate really lacks flavor and looks better than it tastes. The cannolis are average. I was really excited to try this restaurant given all the positive reviews, but it was a pretty disappointing experience.

Great day, This is…read moremy second review for The Italian Oven in Stockbridge ga. I've been back a few times since my first post of EXCELLENT but I had to post on my recent visit . My family and I went to celebrate two birthdays and everything was going great as usual until I got my order of Baby Clams in White Wine Sauce. The first thing that I noticed was a lot less claims than I receive on previous visits. When I tasted it my second thought was, this wasn't the same chief. The meal was almost too salty to eat. I mentioned it to the waitress and she told the chef and the managers. I noticed two of the managers discussing my issue and here's where the biggest problem starts. No one, not the chef , nor either manager addressed me for an apology or anything . I WAS NOT SEEKING A REFUND OR A DISCOUNT, I just wanted to make sure they addressed the matter. Never happened. I was very disappointed . My families meals were on point for the most part and that's all that matters. I still gave the a 4 star !

From the appetizers all the way through dessert, we had a great experience. We started the table off with the risotto balls, fried calamari, and the fried mix plate, along with the complimentary bread they bring to the table. Having several appetizers to pass around was perfect for a group our size and gave everyone a chance to try a little bit of everything before the entrées arrived. For dinner, our table had several different dishes, including the Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Parmigiana, and Combination Plate. The portions were generous, the pasta was plentiful, and both parmigiana dishes came covered with a rich tomato sauce and plenty of melted, nicely browned cheese. This is definitely the type of Italian food you come hungry for! I also finished things off with a cappuccino, which was hot, creamy, frothy, and topped with cinnamon the perfect way to end a big Italian meal. Since we were there for my daughter's birthday, they brought out their fried pizza dough tossed in cinnamon and sugar and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It was warm, crispy, sweet, and something different from the typical birthday dessert. It was also perfect for passing around the table and sharing with everyone. A special mention has to go to our server. Taking care of a party of more than 20 people is a lot to manage, but our server was friendly, helpful, attentive, and funny. That personality really added to the evening and helped make my daughter's birthday celebration even more enjoyable. Overall, The Italian Oven was a great choice for our family celebration. Good appetizers, generous portions, classic Italian comfort food, a fun birthday dessert, and great service, even with a party of over 20.

Lorenzo was our waiter and provided top-tier service. He was attentive, professional, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. The food was excellent. The lobster and waffles were the star of the show. The lobster was crispy, well-seasoned, flavorful, and easily some of the best lobster I've had in Georgia. The waffles complemented it perfectly. The omelette was also very good. One thing I really appreciated was that the vegetables were actually cooked and seasoned properly. Too many places throw barely cooked vegetables into an omelette, but everything here tasted intentional and well prepared. The cheesy grits were on point too. The pancakes, fruit, and other breakfast items were nicely presented, and the drinks were just as good as the food. The blue cocktail was refreshing and definitely added to the experience. Overall, Culturistic Kitchen gets a 9/10 from me. Great food, great drinks, excellent service, and portions that make you feel like you got what you paid for. Lorenzo deserves recognition for the customer service. And that lobster? One of the best in Georgia. Period. We'll definitely be back.

Even if they are not affiliated with DoorDash anymore for example, they should make sure it is completely removed and have an updated menu created if needed. If their prices have went up, it is at a restaurant rate when they are not a restaurant. When called out on this, the pricing was matched closer to what I manually tallied. I heard ownership has changed, making me question if that's why this experience took place vs very different experiences in the past. At that point, I used to constantly order lunch from here and do large catering orders for house parties of 50-80+ people. This created such a terrible taste, it will be the last time I order with them. I hope to see they do better and don't permanently ruin what was once so great. The food used to remind me of NY Bodega food. Now, no where near the same taste or quality. I'm so disappointed and upset I spent $$ on this.
