My friend and I decided to stop by here for a catch up while our kids were at the movies nearby. I am vegan which doesn't leave a lot of menu items for me, but we did get bread and olive oil. We enjoyed some wine and the bread. The service was good initially and then our server brought the bill. But we weren't done. And then it was like she never came back and it was SO hard to get anyone to pay attention to us. Bummer. They should have a bar. It would be a lot better and allow people to pop in for a chat and relax and have great service.

Great visit to Pastini yesterday with a friend of many years. I had not been to Pastini for several years, last time about 20 years ago to the restaurant on NE Broadway. They have grown considerably and it is obvious why. My wife and I moved to Seattle for 17 years and since coming back this year, I have had Pastini on my to do list. The restaurant had a perfect vibe. It just felt good. Silvia was terrific. So friendly and understanding of us not having any time constraints. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara with a Caesar Salad. It was on the special lunch menu and was only $13.00. The Carbonara had great flavor and I made the comment to my friend that I could have had that in a "upscale restaurant" and not be disappointed. It was that good. I will be back for dinner with my wife as well.

It's been awhile since I visited a Pastini. We came here for a quick lunch and liked that they have a lunch special menu which was reasonably priced. The option came with a pasta dish and a side of soup or salad for $13. I had the Linguini with spicy pepperonata chicken and a side of field greens salad. The food was decent and good portion for lunch. I also ordered some garlic bread and marinara sauce to go with it. The service was pretty friendly and the food came out quick. I would come here again for lunch.

Excellent on all levels. Great location and great service. My wife and I found a lot of great options on the menu, and the prices are vey reasonable (though soup or salad are extra). I had the PAPPARDELLE WITH MEAT SAUCE BOLOGNESE and she had the BAKED ZITI WITH ITALIAN SAUSAGE. We were pleased they had gluten free options for my wife (at no extra charge). Both dishes were excellent. My pasta was fresh. You can just tell. Also, the ragu contained chunks of shredded meat (not ground beef). Such great flavor. My wife commented that the GF pasta was very good, too. We were pleased with the prices. Everything just hit all the marks. We will be back

This is my first time here but I've heard great things since their reopening. We had reservations on a Friday night for a group and we were promptly welcomed and seated towards the front of the restaurant. The vibe is very cozy and romantic, so a great place for a date. Their drinks are so pretty and have seasonal specials as well. There were so many pasta options to choose from but I decided on the spicy sausage one. The portions were generous but some of friends did finish theirs because it was that tasty! The bread and appetizers were delicious as well and maybe we will need to come back to check out their dessert menu. Give this place a try when you are craving pasta!

Just ordered Carbonara lunch special and garlic breads. Been loving their Carbonara from here over the years. Carbonara was great as usual, but the garlic breads were not. They were burnt and one of the breads had a residue of tomato sauce on it. Didn't eat these breads at all. Not very pleased.

Ordered ahead of time for pick up today and waited an additional 10 minutes for my food. Being new to the area I was excited to try out a cute little pasta restaurant but based off how my food came out I'm pretty disappointed I just paid $22 for this. There might be 9 raviolis total here and I'm just not sure how that is justifiable. Not only that but all of the grease or oil completely leaked out of the Togo box leaving the paper bag soaked. Not my favorite experience and probably won't be ordering here again.

We knew that Beaverton is becoming a known foodie destination and Don's is an example of some of the higher-end restaurant options making an appearance. We were told Don's has been here a year already, so we're glad we found it. This is a small and intimate venue, something like only 6 tables. The kitchen is open for those who love to watch the chef do his thing. I usually love to do this myself, but I became so focused on enjoying the remarkable food that was placed before us that I forgot to watch. The server's name escapes me, but he was wonderful and good at his job! He also was the person who picked the wine pairings for the meal. And what an outstanding pairing it was! Would I recommend the wine parings? Yes, I would. Don's is not cheap experience, by the way. The dinner is pre-fixe, but the wine pairings have two options and prices: full glass or half-glass. My wife and I opted for the half-glass pairing and were pleasantly surprised this this sufficed perfectly with respect to both cost and amount of wine. One memorable pairing was the sparkling Reisling we were served with our oysters! Wow, so perfect and tasty! Who knew? Well, our server a.k.a. wine steward did, for sure. In fact, we loved every dish we were served! Pictures are below. I don't remember the specific names, unfortunately. Between our server and Don, we were well taken care of during our meal. As I mentioned the venue is small, so probably not a place you'd want to bring small children. This is more of a date night (if you really want to impress) or special occasion place, or for those times when you just want to treat yourself to a great meal experience, which is what brought us to Don's. We are feeling very fortunate to have finally discovered Don's Favorite Foods in Beaverton. We will definitely be back!
