I just went with my gut on this place and I'm glad I did! We had to pass through Mineral Wells after a Rocker B tournament in Graford on a Sunday afternoon, so this was perfect to eat at. We started out with the garlic knots. They are light enough in flavor to add Parmesan or crushed pepper too or enjoy as is. The pepperoni pizza was good. Typically we ask for light marinera sauce on our pizzas but had it how it came. Easy request, we just didn't ask, as it was our first try here. Chicken Fettuccine: We loved how the pasta sauce was creamy, a thicker consistency and the chicken wasn't chunky (sliced thinner) The creamy flavor matched a place we used to have back home but they ended up closing down. I also had a Caesar salad that was a good portion so I ended up sharing it with my husband. Dressing: We are use to the rich anchovy flavor with the dressing that usually comes on those salads but It wasn't a bad flavor, just a lighter taste. The food is not good. I got a salad, didn't finish it because it is soaking in dressing. Husband got the shrimp scampi and didn't like it - said there was lime in the sauce. Oh my! Three of us stopped in at Pastafina during a day trip to Mineral Wells. The restaurant was cool and welcoming. Tables and chairs coalesce and clean. The place is nice when you walk in. Some great artwork and a huge mural on the wall. Booth could be a bit more comfy. The bread they bring to the table is nice but the homemade bread you can order as an appetizer with provolone and tomato is fantastic. One of the better chicken picatas we have ever had. For a small town Italian restaurant this place exceeds expectations. I do wish they would replace the battery in the fire alarm. It beeped every 30 seconds throughout our entire meal. We tried this place for dinner recently and had a good experience. The place has a good amount of seating in the main area and a back room. Our server was attentive. The garlic knots were great. The chicken piccata was good and the pizza was ok. They had just upgraded their computers when we were there so service was a bit slow. Stopped by here on the way home from Possum Kingdom lake and it was an excellent choice! Voted best in Palo Pinto county and lived up to it! Their brick oven pizza is amazing and the pasta sampler gave us an opportunity to try their pasta dishes which were all delicious! It was busy on a Monday at 8pm so I bet this is a local favorite hot spot for dinner and probably has a wait on the weekends. The staff were on top of everything even with multiple tables! After grabbing my Crazy Water, we stopped at Pastafina for lunch. A very nice, slightly dark restaurant. After viewing the menu, I always ask for suggestions from the waitress. She recommended Chicken Florentine, which is one of my favorites, along with Chicken Murphy. My brother, Mister boring food, chose Fettuccine Alfredo, no meat. Just noodles. WHAT? So our food arrives, and after the mandatory picture, we chow down. I had so much food, I offered him a piece of chicken to add to his noodles. Just ordered carry out, when I walked in a pretty young lady with dark hair and eyes and black rim glasses was attending to a table and noticed me right away, it was my first time at this location so I was a little confused but she jumped right in to assist me, even making sure my order was 100% complete and ready and offering me extra utensils. We were just passing through town and thought we'd try Pastafina out. So glad we did. Their food is fantastic. I'd drive 2 hours back from home just to eat here. When ever we are in Mineral Wells we try to stop in for our Italian fix. Today we were in town and had to stop in and eat dinner and again were not disappointed. Wonderful location, excellent food and beautiful evening dining experience on the patio looking upon the Baker Hotel. Highly recommend this place wife had the chicken alfredo and I chose the philly cheese sub. Super fresh ingredients and seasoned perfectly!! The staff was friendly, courteous and all who stopped by table asked if we needed anything. Very affordable and reasonable prices for good quality food. Feel like this place could be better. I'm not cheap in anyway so I'm not looking for deal but I ordered the lasagna for dinner with extra cheese. When it came to the table it looked like it needed cheese . I lifted what cheese was on it up with a fork under it was a less then half inch wide piece of lasagna on its side to make it look bigger . we ordered the pasta sampler and told the waitress that we were going to split this. I then ask her if we could get Alfredo sauce on the manicotti cannelloni and she wrote this down. Also e ordered a small salad. when the food came it looked like just lasagna so she took it back to fix. She bought back a lasagna and a manicotti cannelloni with red sauce and Alfredo sauce. She then bought salad. When she bought the ticket we were charged for a lasagna and a pasta sampler. I questioned her as to why we were charged for two and she said we can't put Alfredo on one of the samplers. So she charged us for a sampler and a lasagna.
