Unfortunately was in a rush and didn't get a chance to look at Yelp recs before ordering, otherwise we might have ordered pasties rather than bubble tea. Had 3 different flavors (lavender milk tea with honey bubbles, coffee milk tea with coffee jellies, and Orange milk tea with vanilla bubbles), all of which were way too sweet to finish. Stopped in to get a couple Pasties to take home with us. We got three of the Yoopers and they were the best I've ever had. Blend of beef and veggies was the perfect mix, moisture was spot on, crust was crispy and flavorable and not too dry, and the ratio of shell to filling was just right. First of all, the selection of teas is awful. I'm not sure why they have a bubble gum flavored milk tea but not winter melon? I think out of all the tea places I've tired (Kung Fu Tea, Share tea, Gong Cha, ect.) this has the worst selection of milk tea flavors. Second, the tea I did get wasnt good. It was maybe mediocre at best. Sad to see one of the only bubble tea places around wasn't very good. We came to Frankenmuth for the Dog Show during May 2017 and were looking for a dog-friendly place to eat. Fortunately, this place has a large outdoor seating area where we were able to sit with dogs! This is definitely worthy of a star. There are two different counters from which a person can order. One is a to-go counter and the other is inside the place itself. A person can order any items from either counter, but the inside counter has the ice cream/pastries display. The interior is a very clean, quaint design, and there is no seating inside. Essentially they serve mainly pasties, ice cream, boba, and doggie food/treats. Ordering was a little confusing because they had four different menus! The first menu was a giant list of pasties. The second menu was their brochure while the third menu was one made specifically for the dog show. The fourth menu was a list of pasties listed on their wall inside the restaurant. Essentially, all the menus had the same thing, but only few items were available. Items available were noted on the wall menu, but since we ordered outside, we didn't know. When it came time to order, the employee provided little guidance to which menu items were available. Eventually she listed off the items, but she assumed we knew, which I believe is a huge error. It was really annoying. Service at the to-go window was extremely slow since they were also tasked with making beverages. The register is all the way across the restaurant so it made things less efficient. The pasties we ordered took about 30 minutes to bake. Fortunately, conversation was good so time passed quickly. The pasty itself was pretty darn good and the only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of 2. I would come back for their other pasties. As for the boba tea, it was terrible. The tea was extremely diluted, lacking flavor. The boba itself was small and more firm than I would have liked. read more

The ice cream is good ... Good quality and it's not expensive. My only complain will be that the helping lady is rude. This is an turist area, she pretend not to understand when the English is not perfect. That shouldn't be like this in a turist area, if you want turist to bring money you need to help them with respect. read more

My young daughter ordered a Cookies & Cream Bubble Tea. The ingredients were Oreo milk tea and bubbles. My daughter has tried bubble tea in the past from another shop in the past and liked it, but NOT at Pasty Haus. The Cookies and Cream came out tasting like expired green tea milk. When we asked two cashiers if my daughter could exchange the off-tasting Cookies & Cream Bubble Tea, the one cashier said that just because my daughter didn't like it, she can't get something else but that we could buy something different. We also ordered three orders of frozen ice with toppings so this was a sizeable order and to get a response like that was appalling. We ended up buying my daughter an cookies and cream ice cream from Zac & Maks and it tasted as described. I do not recommend Pasty Haus. read more

Came in here on a recent visit to Frankenmuth I have been wanting a pasty and seen they had them when I walked by. When I went in I noticed that they have Bubble tea. I heart bubble tea. I ordered the regular pasty it was like eating delicious pot roast in a pie. They do a great job on the Crust. It's got a very nice crisp and great flavor. I'm a Crust snob and I dig it. I would probably get pasty from there on the regular if I lived around that area. I also noticed they serve Ashbys ice cream. Ashbys is one of the best local ice creams you are gonna find in Michigan in my opinion. They don't use any crap in there ice cream. It's made with sugar and other old fashioned ingredients. I tried the yupper beef pasty and my husband had the original beef pasty. We both had the beef gravy. The crust was nicely baked to a crispy perfection. The vegetables were diced and perfectly cooked. The gravy was a nice addition. The young lady working the counter was very nice and helpful. What a pleasant lunch! Great weather to sit outside! We don't have pets but they allow pets at the outside dining area. And they have special treats you at purchase for you furry friends. read more

The gluten free chicken pot pie pasty was tasty. I'm not a huge fan of chicken pot pie but it was worth getting. I wish they'd have more gluten free pasty options. *The gluten free pie does take at least 30 minutes to bake since they are frozen ahead of time. It's worth trying but make sure you have the time. Definitely get the gravy for it they offer. Inside the pasty is only meat and veggies so it needs the gravy. read more

I am only writing about the pasty. The ice cream etc looks fantastic but the pasty is a no go and expensive for its quality (or lack there of). Many varieties but I got the traditional. Dry! Like others in the past, I'm just reviewing the pasty. The ice cream and bubble tea look delicious, yet overpriced. The pasty was ridiculously overpriced and to say the least...gross. I ordered a Breakfast Chorizo pasty and my boyfriend ordered a Spinach and Artichoke pasty. There was a warning under the Chorizo pasty that it was meant to be spicy. Love this place! My husband, baby, and two dogs were heading up north and stopped here for lunch. It's so cute and clean inside. Their patio is dog friendly, equipped with dog water bowls. They have a special dog pasty on their menu, which they cut in half for us and served on dog frisbees that you can take with you. My husband and I ordered the chicken pot pie and traditional beef pasty. Also got a blueberry bubble tea with lychee popping pearls. Service was great and food was delicious. read more

I order something but they had issue with the fryer after a little while I changed my order. I order the grilled/backed chicken wrap which was really really good... I came back latter on to try the tater tots nachos which were interesting. It was different but still good. I don't think I order that again but a one time thing..
