I have now been here twice and both times have been delicious. I will say, I'm not sure what I expected but this seems like a nicer, upscale (kind of), neighborhood, Applebee's. If that makes any sense?!?!? The first time my partner had a burger, I had the pimento cheese sandwich and our daughter had the mac and cheese. All was good, nothing blew our minds. The mac and cheese had fun noodles just not much flavor. Might be due to it being the kids? Maybe the adult one has more flavor??? The second time I went there with a friend in town. Ohhh this place was just great on every level. Showed up on a Sunday afternoon, pretty dead inside. This place is small so I can see how it would fill up quickly on a Saturday night. First, our service was over the top and our waiter was just awesome. We told him it was our first time here and he did a great job explaining the food and some favorites. I ended up ordering the chimi burger and the mac and cheese. The burger had great flavor and cooked to perfection. I was surprised by the mac and cheese, reminded me of velveeta. I would skip that and go with the french fries, they were very good and I was stealing all of my boyfriends. I enjoyed this place and loved the warm welcoming feeling from the staff. This is a great place for food and drinks! The environment is casual, bar-like. Their food is better than your typical bar food. I would highly recommend the mozzarella sticks, queso, and burgers. We were first timers and very pleased! The decor is very keeping with the previous historical owners of the horse farm, gambler, and his "madam ". We each had a big bowl spinach salad. They were huge!!! I shouldn't have eaten the whole salad. My wife was more sensible, ate half and brought the rest home for another meal. So one salad can easily feed two. The bacon was crunchy, vegetables and egg were cut by a professional chief, who took pride in quality and presentation . The bacon dressing was delicious- the best salad I had ever eaten. We were both impressed by David, our waiter, who was courteous, knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. It was a privilege to be able to thank the chief (Pat O'brien)for his talent. We had not realized his credentials with high profile restaurants. We knew, by the menu and daily specials, that this was not a "short order cook" type of place. We did not explore the drinks but we did notice they were made in honor of Pat and Gracie. (Pat named their horse farm... Graceland.) We will back to explore another day!! read more

Have read many great reviews about the burgers and homemade tots, we finally made it in and can't wait to go back. The burgers were some of the best we have ever had well cooked and melt in your mouth tender. Had the bacon cheeseburger and again one of the best. The homemade tots for starter was good choice served with two dipping sauces and really was quite tasty. There are daily specials but the burger is the star. First time trying out Pat and Gracie's. My wife and I were seated promptly (we arrived just before 6:00 pm on a Friday). Our server came by almost immediately to introduce himself and get our drink orders. Our server was very friendly. My wife ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with mac and cheese and I ordered the chimi burger with fries. All the food was delicious! The mac and cheese was a little on the small side, so we ordered more (without complaining) and next thing we know a manager brought out another serving of mac and cheese and apologized that the first one wasn't as full as it should have been. Again, we did not complain. They did not charge us for the extra mac and cheese we ordered. Before we left the manager came by again to see how everything was and gave us a gift card. I can not say enough good things about the overall experience we had there tonight. The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the excellent customer service. My wife and I are looking forward to the next time we visit to try out more of the menu! read more

Tried this out for the first time the other week. The person I was with had been there several times and quite enjoyed. Went on a weekday around 1...so I guess at the end of lunch rush? Wasn't to busy. Seated right away. Keep in my mind there isn't a lot of room. If you are going at peak hours expect a wait and to be a bit cramped. Went with the build your own burger and fries. Since it seems trendy now to charge for fries with a burger it was nice that they included a healthy amount of fries with it. A leetle bit on the well done side (fries). Wasn't asked how I wanted the burger. I'd say it came out medium-well. Couldn't taste any sriracha mayo on it so it was bland spice-wise, but overall tasty. The person I was with got the spicy chicken sandwich and said there was zero spice to it. Maybe they just felt like ignoring spice requests that day? Overall service was. A bit slow for how few people were dining at the time but not awful. Waiter was semi-friendly. Reasonably priced, especially compared to what people have told me about BareBurger. I understand things may be affected by Covid. However I ordered through Door Dash and I need to report what I received. I ordered hand cut French Fries and a meal of Peruvian chicken that, according to the menu, comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The chicken and sauce was excellent. Everything was downhill from there. The French Fries did not look or taste like hand cut fries. I ordered them because the menu said they were hand cut. I could not eat the fries. The mashed potatoes were passable. Unfortunately I never got to taste the asparagus because broccoli was substituted for the asparagus. I love asparagus. I hate broccoli, especially when it is overcooked. This was overcooked. I know this is trivial in the grand scheme of things but I expect to receive what the menu says I will receive. If the restaurant cannot do that, I would expect them to contact the customer before filling the order. read more

Make sure you try the graciesause! Great local beer selection (bodies on draft) and even a quality bottle selection as well. When my family was in town, who aren't be beer drinkers, the waiter pulled a bottle of cider out from behind the bar and offered to pay for it if she didn't like it...she loved it and it was a great touch. The first time we went in the GM took time to tell us about the history of the restaurant, their journey from concept to open and went into great detail about how everything is fresh and homemade. In town on business and stopped here based on the reviews and the draft menu. It didn't disappoint! While we went during restaurant week it was crowded but we were able to snag four seats quickly at the bar which were we stayed for the duration. Starting with the buckeye bites and housemade tots. The bites were ok. Nice on looks but light on taste. Could have used more salt maybe. But the housemade tots were a real indulgence; covered in cheese and bacon and cooked perfectly. Yum yum!! Entrees included lobster mac n cheese, spicy chicken sandwich, salmon BLT and roasted chicken salad. Everyone enjoyed their dinners and I especially liked the salmon BLT. The fries could use some work. Being thin (which I like) I expected them to be hot and crispy but they were just warm and not crispy. Even their housemade rice vinegar and oil didn't do much to improve them. The staff was great and the bartender very attentive and very entertaining. Came in on a Sunday at noon with the family. The service was pretty good overall. They have a great draft beer selection and coke products. My wife got a bloody mary, it was ok but not very strong. We started with their cheese sticks which were really good. They came out hot and fresh and were hand breaded. I also got their lobster bisque, it was rich and full of flavor. The kids and my wife all got different burgers with hand cut fries. They all enjoyed them. I got the wings which were meaty and well seasoned. My 13 year old son and I were in town for a soccer tournament (we are from Pittsburgh). Based on the reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try and were not disappointed! I had the Salmon BLT sandwich, a house favorite according to the menu. It was very tasty, and I savored every bite. In addition, I ordered a side of mac and cheese which was very good. My son ordered a bacon cheeseburger and broccoli cheddar soup (the soup of the day) which he enjoyed very much. We split a black tie mousse cake to top the evening off, went back to our hotel with full stomachs and vowed to come back next year if our team decides to play in this tournament again.
