Came here from Manhattan strictly for the mango sticky rice which exceeded my expectations. Well worth the trip and so delicious that we got 2 to take home. On a rainy Saturday there was no wait, you pay in cash at the back and get a ticket to pick up at the front. Servings are made fresh daily with the ripest mangoes and last for about a day. Definitely will be returning here every time I happen to be in the neighborhood for delicious eats.

Walked past this store and saw them making the mango sticky rice. It was $12 and the place prefers cash for payment. The mango was super fresh. The rice was a little dry/hard but that might have been my fault for not heating it up before eating it. One of the best mango sticky rice i have had in NY but also the most expensive.

Came to Pata market after it popped up on my Instagram feed. It's a cozy spot featuring various items you can only get from Thailand. I came for the mango sticky rice. It wasn't the best. I personally think it needed more condensed milk, the mango was nice and sweet. My husband really enjoyed it. Also tried the Roti with condensed milk reminded me of a sugar bread. My favorite was from the grab and go hot meal section. I got the pork sewers with sticky rice. The flavor on the sewers was seasoned well and it was a nice portion for $10. Also, the location only accepts cash or Zelle. Overall cute spot to explore Thai bites.

This little Thai market has been open for about 6-7 years now, surprisingly only 28 reviews on Yelp! They carry a variety of Thai food products, ranging from frozen seafood and meat products, canned and packaged dry foods and drinks, minimal fresh produce, and a lot of fresh prepared and refrigerated entrees, snacks and desserts. They pack a ton into a small space! Walking into the store immediately to the left you see a table of take/out style foods, noodles and rice, different proteins, and desserts. Along the right wall is a small refrigerator and freezer with mostly drinks and sweets. I love that they carry desserts featuring SE Asian flavors of pandan, jackfruit, mango, ube, and durian (if you're into this). My last visit I grabbed peanut dumplings $6.50 served with sprigs of cilantro and a finely pulverized dried garlic bits--an interesting balance of savory rice and pea flour dumpling skin and sweet crushed peanut and sugar filling! Also got a Thai jade jelly sweet $5.00 with fresh grated coconut meat on top--this one had a jiggly consistency kinda like a firm jello. Both were delicious, not too sweet, and I would highly recommend. Checkout counter is at the back of the store and they are cash only. Note that the fresh food should be eaten right away within a day as it will go bad (it is fresh food after all), though glad to see there's not preservatives added. I'm excited to go back to try many other items!

I came to Patan to pick up some dried seafood for a friend who loves this kind of stuff -- dried fish, squid, etc. Who knew they had so much variety! Just a heads up: they are cash only, but they also accept Zelle, which was convenient. No one really came over to help while I was looking around, and since I couldn't read most of the labels, I just went by the pictures on the packaging. That worked out fine, but it would've been nice if someone offered a little guidance. Overall, a good spot if you know what you're looking for. My friend was happy with what I had brought back.

Walked into Pata Market thinking I'd just browse... walked out like I raided a Thai grandma's kitchen. Place is small but loaded with the good stuff. Grabbed the pork basil--pork, chili, basil, fish sauce, sugar, some mystery seasoning that must be sorcery... every bite hit like a roundhouse kick of flavor. Then came the grilled chicken with sticky rice--marinated with sesame oil, honey, black pepper, turmeric... bro, this wasn't dinner, it was a spiritual awakening. Served with sticky rice that could glue your soul together. Queens never misses. If you know, you know. #Instagram #foodieinthebigapple2025

Wow the variety of this place was insane! It had your sweet desserts, savory foods, snacks, you name it. I grabbed a couple of items to try and enjoyed all of it! I will definitely be back to try other items - especially their premade foods like Pad Thai. Now, I cannot say that I knew what everything was being that this was the first Thai market I have ever been to however, I grabbed a bunch of interesting looking things. A couple of highlight was the jelly drink. I first assumed it was just jelly but they gave me a straw from it and I was pleasantly supposed. It was like drinking a jelly that was set but not too firm! I would definitely get it again. The durian ice cream was only $3! It tasted like a durian ice cream with a coconut milk base which I enjoyed because I think the durian and coconut complimented each other really well. And lastly, the green tea was sooo good! It was nicely sweet with a pungent green tea flavor and a nice minty finish. I did not really enjoy the Luk chup but then again, I just grabbed it because it looked interesting and not because I knew what it should taste like. I think I was only disappointed because all of the flavors were the same and the exterior jelly texture did not sit well with the bean interior. That being said, the ingredients are listed on the container and I definitely think it's worth a try if you're interested. The cashiers are very patient while customers are looking around and very quick with the checkout as well which I appreciates. Just a fair warning that it is cash only. I will be picking up more items to try the next time I'm in Elmhurst!

**CASH ONLY** Stopped in here to try the famed mango sticky rice, but ended up spending a good amount of time browsing all of the Thai specialties. This is a well-stocked market with both pantry and fresh food items, plus several refrigerated cases of meats, desserts (pandan heaven!) and more. Mango sticky rice with black rice was flawless - no notes.

Came here to try the claim to Thai desserts available and was pleasantly surprised. However, some items were better than others, and I think I would stick to the role, pandan pancakes, and the kuih. Rolled pandan pancakes were really soft and delightful. There's a light pandan flavor at the center of these really nice textured and soft crêpes, and is satisfying to chew. None of these desserts were too sweet, so they are the perfect sweet moment for an Asian palate. The Kuih is my favorite and was delightfully gelatinous, bouncy, chewy, and had a nice fragrant panDan and coconut flavor. We would come back just to get this. The taro gems were good, the inside has a pasty ground taro texture, and had a bit of density to them. If you like taro you will enjoy these. We also got these blue rice skin desserts that I can't remember the name of and it came with a package of salt, sugar, sesame seeds to pour over the top. Don't be afraid to use all of this, because by itself it actually is quite bland. It won't be too sweet I promise. However, the texture of the blue cakes themselves left a little to be desired, and where it is chewy as I was hoping. Overall, we come back in the summer when they have their mango sticky rice and we come back anytime for the Kuih.

So excited to find this place. They have prepared meals that costs less than a sit-down restaurant (got my Kaw Kluk Kapi for $12!). Saw other Thai products too but couldn't linger for long because my ride was about to leave me lol. Wil definitely be back to explore this shop more!

I like this small market and to be honest, I only really noticed it because I frequent another store next door. It's a Thai themed market and pretty much have everything you could think of Thai wise. They have fresh and hot food pre packed. Not sure if its the same owner's but the food comes from a Thai restaurant not too far from me. Actually closer than the store. Tons of choices for the pre pared food. They also have alot of seasoning stuff and condiments and snacks etc. The staff here are all very nice too. Just remember to bring cash though. I will be back for sure.

Price-wise was excellent with most dishes around the $10-30 range. Portions were large and meant to be shared. As for the food itself, I honestly expected better. If it was ranking in the same leagues as Fish Cheeks, Pranakhon, and Bangkok Supper Club on Beli, I thought the taste would be phenomenal but it truly just tasted like any decent thai spot I could find in SoCal. The only difference is that in SoCal there would be little to no wait. I must clarify that my qualms is not with the restaurant but with NYC having an issue of overinflating certain places and establishing high expectations of otherwise normal restaurants just doing its thing. The pad see ew was my favorite, and I liked how wide and long the noodles were. Otherwise, their Michelin Yum Duk Pla Fu was just another mango salad to me, and I had wished that the catfish tasted more like fish than breadcrumbing. The green curry was decent, nothing special. Good price for what you get though. If the wait wasn't unnecessarily long, I would consider this a nice spot for cheap, yummy Thai.
