He was absolutely miserable and I called a few places and the third call was the charm! First place was going to charge almost $500 and the second one wouldn't take us because they were afraid they'd get sick (understandably so). This was his first time getting an IV Drip and Claire was his nurse. She was incredibly warm and welcoming and could see my husband was exhausted. She made the whole experience comfortable and we were out within an hour and a half. It cost $225 to get him two doses of anti nausea and a liter of their Myers cocktail. He didn't feel the relief immediately but it helped significantly and he regrets not getting a second liter. It absolutely helped turn everything in the right direction, either way. After three days of being in bed, this is what got him moving again. Can't recommend this place enough for low energy, upset stomach, mood swings, and so on. The office itself was also clean and inviting with some retail. They are a full MedSpa and offer laser facials as well as laser hair removal, skin tightening, and so on. I was asked to provide my ethnicity and a copy of my driver's license before they would see me. None of this was discussed when I booked the appointment. Had I known in advance that this information would be required, I could have made an informed decision before making the drive. When I questioned why my race was necessary for what was supposed to be a simple facial -- not surgery -- I was told they "needed to know my race to determine my skin type." That explanation did not sit well with me. Skin type can be evaluated professionally without reducing it to race. Because I was uncomfortable with the additional undisclosed requirements, I chose to walk out. Transparency matters. If certain documents or demographic information are mandatory, that should be clearly communicated before taking a deposit and having clients travel significant distances. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed and frustrated.
