We were so...looking forward to trying a new resteraunt in Ogunquit having vacationed for 30 years at the Anchorage by the Sea . We arrived at the opening at 11:30am as we had a big party . We were immediately met by the owner who had an attitude about the size of our family ( even though there was literally no-one in the resteraunt ) . He was unsure he could accommodate us and he actually sat the family behind us as he continued to argue with his staff if they could seat us. I told him we would be more than willing to sit at different tables but after waiting at least 15 minutes and observing his attitude we decided to leave as we felt not welcomed in his establishment . His response, "ill take it up with my staff at the next staff meeting". I said its not the staff thats the issue , its your attitude and he said "I was being funny , I am the owner ". I realize they may have been short staffed , but there was literally no-one in the place . What owner treats customers this way ? Well you just missed out on the 600$ we spent at the Crew up the street !!! read more

My husband and I spent the weekend in Ogunquit and had a wonderful dinner at Patio 03907! I have strict medical dietary restrictions, and Tom brought the chef out to discuss what he could make for me! So kind and appreciated! My husband also had a delicious whole belly fried clam dinner and shrimp cocktail app, both outstanding. and the martini was so good he had two :) very fun waiter was singing and dancing and made for a very enjoyable evening.. Tony the owner personally made sure everything was to our satisfaction... YES!! On 7/20/2021 my friend and I decided to try this new restaurant. We looked at the menu, talked to the young lady who was sitting at a podium at the top of the alley way you take to get to the restaurant. She was very excited about the menu and food! She even said the appetizers were huge, more than enough for 2 people. Her excitement was contagious, we decided to try it that evening. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! We arrived around 6ish, 2 parties of three ahead of us. An older gentleman came up to us, dressed in regular street clothes, and asked if he could help us. He told us it would be about a 20-minute wait and to just stand where we were. If he didn't approach us we would have never known he worked for this restaurant. Two women came in and said they were going to "see Shelly". We had no idea what that meant except they walked right into the restaurant. Five minutes later a couple came in and waited behind us. A few minutes went by, the gentleman starts escorting the couple behind us to a table. My friend quickly reminded him that we were there first and he said he thought we were with the party in front of us. Mistake#1 We were seated on the top of the restaurant(patio), right next to a family finishing their disastrous meal. The mom was furious and very verbal about it. A different gentleman came over to ask her about her meal and she was to mad to respond. He just turned and walked away. That should have been a clue. A very sweet young girl came to take our drink and appetizer order. We quickly found out who Shelly was...she was the only bartender. Her friends were in the only 4 seats at the bar and Shelly was more into her friends than getting other drink orders out. So, we waited. My friend could see the bar from her vantage point. Watching Shelly attend to her friends and treating the servers with inappropriate language. The drinks and appetizers come. Drinks were fine, the appetizers; calamari, TERRIBLE and bang bang shrimp, good. However, each one was not more then enough for two. Mistake #2 Just a reminder, we were in an ocean/seafood town. Dinner comes. We both ordered the fried haddock sandwich, it comes with fries. Definitely, frozen fish and the fries were cold. Mistake #3 We had eaten at an upscale Italian restaurant in town the night before and our bill for the above food and drink was just $8 shy of what we paid at the Italian restaurant. Last mistake. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! As a matter of fact, there is a McDonald's up the street that you would be better patronizing. Except for the very young server, this experience was HORRIBLE!! read more

So staff is friendly. Chowder was good. But it is NOT dog friendly fyi unless your dog sits under your chair. The only space for dogs is in a small deck that is the only access for getting upstaira. We would have preferred to be told upfront that it was not truly dog friendly we felt like we were an inconvenience. read more

I tried this fun place for the first time this past weekend. We loved sitting on the 2nd floor deck with the views and atmosphere. The clam pizza was so good that I'm still thinking about it lol and tequila and sodas were so good. My wife had whole belly fried clams and onion rings, also delicious. One of the best new restaurants in OGT! I've been coming up here since I was a little girl and we always eat at the same restaurants so I was happy when I noticed this new restaurant! The food was amazing and the view spectacular! The service was great, so friendly and welcoming. There was a lot of fried food but what we got was not overly fried! I couldn't select 0 stars or I would. I've been coming to Ogunquit since I was 10 years old. Frequented every restaurant possible. This was the worst experience in all my years of dining. Nothing comes close to how terrible it was here. Overpriced for starters. But most places are in a vacation town so that's expected. But I sat down with a party of 6. My food never actually arrived. The waitress apologized and admitted to the mistake of never entering it to begin with. So she added it. Another 15 minutes went by with no food. The rest of my party finished and I asked the waitress to just gives us the check. The owner came up apologetic and offered the meal for free and they would box it up for me to take home. Another 10 minutes went by and no box but there was a bill that had a mandatory gratuity for a party of 6. Which was hysterical as only 5 people actually ate. I stormed out so I wasn't tempted to cause a scene. And they never gave me my meal to go. Perhaps I was in the wrong for waiting so long. I can't tell enough people to never come here. Don't bother. There are so many other places that are better run and better managed. read more

Highly recommend! We went for lunch before the beach and everything was awesome! Long Island Iced Tea perfect- not too sweet and tropical drinks looked so good! We had the shrimp cocktail, chicken po boys and Mac and cheese- it was all so delicious! The view is great and a short walk to the beach. Lobster is listed on the menu but no detail on the menu that we were able to review earlier that it wasnt a full lobster but instead choice of broiled or fried. okay no biggie until you are paying for 4 little pieces of lobster meat that taste off & still at market price of a full lobster!? come on! you know what you are doing w/ this and how it comes across... We weren't the only people who were told ocean view as overheard someone else come in and say "I thought there was an ocean view?" please consider charging less for the lobster as absolutely not worth the price or remove it from the menu all together & stick to hotdogs, burgers, chicken & fish n chips style foods. my chicken basket for 11.99 for 4 pieces ..ehh alright okay I can let that slide.. & you may also not want to mention the view is of a parking lot /trees rather than the ocean but don't say it's a view of the ocean! waiter was very kind and did help make up for low quality food and uninspired atmosphere. nothing special going on here! If you are very hungry and willing to over pay or don't want to wait elsewhere or maybe on your way back from the beach looking for something very average then go for it! Stopped there for lunch today..I had the fried lobster appetizer which was delicious..chunks of lobster on a skewer lightly fried with drawn butter..delicious..my friend ordered the best onion rings we ever had..the batter was very light and airy but crispy..I won't be able to order onion rings from any other place ever again. I had a haddock sandwich and she had the haddock basket..the fish was nice and fresh with not too much batter. The owner and staff are very friendly, The place is fairly small but there are 2 levels..the walls on the lower level open up so there's a nice breeze coming up from the beach. Had lunch here on our last day in Ogunquit and it was the perfect finale to our visit to this quaint, seaside town! We were looking for lobster rolls and Tom, a Host for the reataurant persuaded us to try their lobster bites. He even suggested a table on the upper deck with a nice breezy view of the sea and town. Tony, the owner was very accomodating and gave us some excellent suggestions and our server, Riley was as equally friendy and attentive. Everything was super tasty and our fave was the White Clam Pizza! So nice to feel some sense of normalcy in these crazy times. Will def be back on our next trip.
