Although I did not purchase a Cadi-my experience purchasing a used Totota 4-Runner was extraordinary. Cyrus was very friendly, professional and patient with me. I'm not an easy customer to deal with-I'm a pain in the ass honestly. That didn't stop Cyrus. I got the price I could afford and it didn't take all day. This is the ONLY dealership I visited that considered budging on the sticker price! There was a crack in the windshield. Cyrus told me he would have it replaced. I'm here now and the wait is another welcome experience. They offer free water, tea, Lavazza coffee and snacks. The place is spotless. The entire staff here is cordial. The bathroom is immaculate. Cyrus just bought me lunch! Never expected THAT! Another added "LIKE" about this guy! I think I covered it all. Once again Patrick Cadillac proved to be the worst when it comes to customer service. This is my second review of this dealership and I strongly recommend anyone to stay away if you are expecting any decent customer service experience. My initial issues were during sale process, where I had to wait for new car delivery nearly 12 months, with no updates and had to constantly follow up to get any information. Until I posted my first negative review there was no progression whatsoever and I only started receiving attention after review was posted. During sale process I was offered to purchase maintenance plan, advanced protection and GAP coverage and was told these could be canceled for a full refund. To make the long story short the dealer now refuses to issue $8500 refund for canceled protection plans, even though all cancelations were approved by GM. Finance manager Roosevelt, refuses to return my calls or take any action. I am now forced to file insurance claim that supposedly provides coverage for irresponsible dealers like Patrick Cadillac. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE unless you are ok with horrible customer service experience. read more

When negotiating over the phone with the used sales department and was having a pleasant conversation with one of the sales associates about trading in my vehicle for another, JOSE rudely interrupts the conversation without even announcing he's listening in, and says, if you're not interested, I'm not interested in selling you the car, then continues to try and berate me. What a JOKE this guy JOSE is for being the used car sales manager of 21 years... he claims. Worst place for a service!! Even if you have early morning appointment they still won't look at your vehicle later in two days without even offer replacement!! I went back to service for the same problems (Arm control losing) that they don't fix properly!! They're claiming that techie took vehicle in driving test and find out nothing wrong with arms control!! Excuse me guys driving test will not be enough to locate any issue in suspension system, so I decided to drop my vehicle 2017 Cadillac Escalade at Firestone to get it check 15 minutes later I been told by Firestone tech that they couldn't provide the alignment regarding to the lose of the arm control!! Back to Patrick Cadillac called them few times but unfortunately they're not honest people more likely playing games saying is not covered in a warranty even though it only had 65k miles on it with extended warranty i had(upto 150k)!! BUYER BEWARE!! I wish there were an option to leave NO stars. I purchased a "thoroughly inspected" preowned vehicle, despite the dismissive attitude of the sales associate. Within 2 days I noticed issues with the car: one key fob doesn't work at all, car makes a high pitch squealing sound when it starts up (confirmed belt issues), front windshield wipers don't spray fluid (blockage), and (here's the kicker) rear hatch doesn't open when using the release button (confirmed misalignment) and the rear windshield wiper fluid SPRAYS INSIDE THE CAR/DOWN THE INSIDE OF WINDOW AND DOOR! It was raining the first two days that I had the car so I hadn't needed wiper fluid, and honestly I didn't think that was something that needed to be checked because how in the world can you claim that you've inspected a car sold in that condition?? I contacted the sales associate who agreed this was a major miss and assured me he would speak to a manager and call back. No call back. Then no response to email the next day (even though he had emailed me requesting positive feedback on the sale.) Day 3, I texted him, to which I received a rude response saying basically that he was far too busy to do what he said he would do, and I can go ahead and handle it myself by calling a manager or bringing the car in, "do whatever you want." I called the store, spoke to a manager who also agreed this was a major miss and he'd call me back. No call back. Finally I contacted the head manager of the store who also agreed that this was a huge miss and "never happens" and who's stock response from there was "it's no big deal, just bring it in." Because I should drop everything in my life so they can fix their mistakes. After agreeing to come get the car from me at my work (driver was not given instructions, I was contacted twice to tell him where he needed to go, then he showed up 40 mins late forcing me to leave a meeting) they "fixed everything" within a day or so, which makes me wonder a) why they didn't just do the right thing to begin with before selling the car, and b) what's the quality of such fast work. I pushed the issue and finally the store manager agreed to dissolve the sale. But after going all the way to the store again, assured I'd be refunded a check in the full amount upon my arrival, I was told they would issue me a refund check once my original cashiers check cleared. They said issuing me a check before then would "void" my check to them. I thought this was pretty stupid, but all I cared about was getting my money back and being done. I know a cashier's check also clears very quickly, so I took his guaranteed that I'd be sent a check via overnight delivery once my check cashed, so it wouldn't be long. It's been 8 days, no refund check, and it turns out that my check to them was cashed two days after I purchased the vehicle. That was 6 days before our signed agreement to dissolve the sale. So this is a place that has zero respect for its customers, does shoddy work, and, after reading many of these reviews, evidently just likes to mess with people. This has been nothing but a horrible experience. I've been dismissed, my time and patience devalued, and had the store manager look me in the eye, after admitting to the shortfalls and failures of his staff and that the car should not have been sold like that, and he still flat out lied to my face and has held my efforts to move on and secure a new, QUALITY, vehicle hostage. I've reached out to the COO, CSO, CFO, and Director of Services TWICE and not one of them have responded to me! Evidently they do not care about their company's poor ethics and dishonest practices. I suppose this is how they want their business to be run. If you're looking for a car or service work: don't look here. Your power is your money. Give it to a reputable dealership who values their customers and treats them with dignity and respect. Places like this don't belong in business. read more

I'm an old man and have bought a number of cars over the years and, unequivocally, these guys are the worst. Not even close. I leased a car, a loaner actually, and we weren't told it had been wrecked. The manager even accused us of wrecking it and getting it fixed without telling them. They had no record of it, supposedly. After a huge amount of hassle, some clown calls from Patrick and the first words out of his mouth were "we weren't legally obligated to tell you about the wreck since it was less than 10%". Seems they did have a record! On our first trip, the car just died on the expressway at 75 miles an hour. We're lucky we weren't seriously injured or even killed. I'm fully convinced the undisclosed damage could have been at fault. It was due to a sensor failure, according to the car computer, but nobody could find anything wrong. A real comforting feeling for sure. Not once, repeat not once, did we ever receive a single call from anyone a Patrick checking on how we liked the car and did we need anything. No other dealer in 50 years ever did that. I could go on. I took the service where they would pick up the car and take it in for service. NOT ONCE did I ever call for service did it go smoothly. First they would say I didn't have the service and then it would take forever. The last time I needed service, I just took it in myself. They finally beat me down. Even something as simple as the car wash with the oil change never happened, if I recall correctly. Someone was sick, the car washer was broken etc. Nearly comical. The way this was described when we leased the car made you think getting a Cadillac was something special. It wasn't. I would have expected more from a Yugo dealership than I got from Patrick. I have to return the car in December and we are seriously dreading dealing with them. I have no hopes of it going smoothly. I don't plan to roll over easily, however. Wish me luck....... read more

I purchased a used car from them on April 6th. It had a single key fob, but they promised to rectify this by getting me another one and have it coded and sent to me in 3 days. I even signed a document regarding this promise. 3 weeks later, and absolutely nothing back from them about it. Not the biggest thing, but a promise is a promise. They also said that they would update the navigation in the car to the latest, this didn't happen. I had to pay out-of-pocket locally to get it updated (was maps from 2017). I live nearly 3 hours away from the dealership, and communication during the sale was great. Afterwards not so much. Being so far away, and buying a hybrid car, I asked that they fill the tank and charge the battery. Both were promised, but they didn't charge it. Thankfully only driving on gas was fine getting home. Finally, and maybe this is partially my fault, but they gave me zero documentation on the day of sale. Traditionally when buying a vehicle I get a duplicate of all signed items and my license registration card. I received nothing. To this day, I actually don't have any physical proof that I even bought the car. Talk about scary! And when I contacted them to get this remedied? "They will look into it" . . . right. Like I trust that now. TLDR; Avoid this dealership like a COVID infected toddler on caffeine. They are one of the worst dealerships I've dealt with, and I have dealt with many by now. read more

I can't say enough about Pete in the Patrick service department (Cadillac). Pete has always been professional with prompt follow-up and been extremely helpful whether we've needed anything from oil changes to more significant warranty service. We have a very unusual car (Saab 9-4x) and although it is a sister vehicle to the Cadillac SRX it sometimes is difficult to find answers to unique problems. Pete has worked with us as we researched solutions and even fought for us to get warranty coverage when appropriate. Frankly, I expected to be treated like a cast off at a Cadillac service department as Saab has not made a new vehicle since 2011 and that has never been the case. Stay away from this dealer. Made a service appointment on Sat to get our 2013 Cadillac 2013 with 60,000 miles serviced because the steering wad making a little noise and was getting stiffer. A Rep called on Wed to ask for my girlfriend to bring it by at 6pm Wed eve so they could drive it. She went there after work thinking it was to check the steering out. A Rep named Jose took her out. Turns out he was a sales rep. He acknowledged the steering issue but wasted her time bad mouthing the SRX and telling her the car will get much worse after 70,000 miles. He wanted her to buy a newer Cadillac but all he did was make my girlfriend want to get away from all Cadillacs. Terrible. He used a service appointment to get her in under a false pretense. read more

Arrived at Patrick Cadillac in Schaumburg to look at a few of their new and used cars. Spent an hour walking their lot looking at new and used vehicles. Absolutely no one approached us, said hello, or even nodded in our general direction. Stood in front of their door while numerous salesmen roamed the floor inside. An elderly gentleman did look our way once but continued walking away. What may have been a salesman had a porter pull a car around directly in front of us but again not so much as a grunt or nod was issued our way. No one likes pushy salesmen but the complete lack of interaction at all came across as arrogant. Best of luck selling cars from inside while I take my business elsewhere. read more
