    I just bought a used car from this low life store. The used car manager terrible. So I bought the car. And found they just wash ur car and do now inspections to sell u a good quality car. Please look at my pictures of how this car was sold. Think before you buy. I'll never be back

    Searching for a new (or fairly new) car on a whim, thanks to a rental car that made me feel pretty excited about a brand... I mean, who doesn't love something that anticipates your every possible need... and then silently does these acts of service without any fanfare? Yeah, heated steering wheel, auto tilting side mirrors, ambient interior lights... Too bad you cant similarly custom order SOs like that ... I mean I'd pay full retail for that... words you'd NEVER hear coming from me... anywho... This dealership has zero swag or class. The girl who answered my inquiry about sales hours and a sales person was impatient and rude "New or Used?!!" She demanded, when I asked to be transferred... to setup a test drive... #NotClassy. PS. The 2012s called and want their fake fur vests back The sales person that answered was brusque and had zero charisma on the phone. Stupid way to set the tone for a customer imo... you want people to like you right? Just kept telling me to ask for someone when I got in... no hello, general niceties, nothing to engage, just irritate... I had a specific car in stock in mind too. #KindaDumb Tried to see about the options and pricing possibilities between lease and maybe a 2016 0r 2017 for purchase... overpriced in comparison to many other places in the area... I was thinking about leasing if they would generate some favorable terms... these guys need to go remedial sales class... McAllister the GM and the most annoying Internet sales spammer... Jeff Zeitler. Who writes back to a customer "It's a 38K car" as a response to negotiation with comps sent showing better terms elsewhere? Motorwerks Barrington seems much better.

My sales coordinator was Rose, she was a joy to work with, as were Tim & Tim, the 2 gentlemen who assisted with the financing. All 3 of them are very personable, customer oriented & know their stuff. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction, everything was thoroughly explained. The monthly payment was a little more than I wanted to pay, but for what I got, it's well worth it. I loved the fact that I didn't need to haggle to get a great price, the price you see on the website is the price that you pay, but keep in mind that's before all taxes, fees, & any extras that you want are added on. For the test drive, I took the car to my mechanic, who checked the car out thoroughly, the car passed with flying colors, with a couple of minor issues that were addressed before I drove off the lot. I can honestly say that in all my years of buying cars, this was the easiest, most pleasant car buying experience that I've ever had. I highly recommend Hertz Schaumburg.

However as we were told by our sales rep they only have 1 guy who does the finances. This causes a huge backup if there is literally anyone else there trying to buy a car. We were there from 9:30am to 2:30pm. While buying a car is a process, it's not a 5 hour process. Esp since there is no haggling involved and we had the car we wanted picked out. By the time we were able to sign our contract we were already in a huge hurry So we had to rush the most important part of the whole thing. We carved out 3 hours, were fine with 4, then started to get annoyed and anxious at 5 We also noticed an interior light wasn't working during our test drive. The sales rep mentioned they would have someone swap it out but by the time we left it was still out. Either they forgot, or somehow in 5 hours had no time to swap out an interior lightbulb. They did end up changing it a few days later though We would defiantly go back and recommend to friends. Just make sure to bring lunch haha

Thirty minutes of driving and looking the car over at my own pace later and he confirmed that I wasn't interested in the car, just wanted a test drive. He gave me the carfax and let me be on my way. They didn't try to sell it to me, just understood the purpose of my visit and let me go free. No wasted time, no coddling feelings. If it was inspected by kia techs and set out for sale, then it was a honeypot, a car set out to deliberately fail, to entice a customer into a new car with the old, "nothing we can do" attitude. The paper they showed my about the Soul being inspected suddenly meant nothing. I WAS FORCED INTO BUYING A NEW CAR FROM THEM. My options were paying thousands to replace a transmission on a car with massive miles or get into another overpriced, possibly knowingly defective, used car. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

Buying a car became a 5-hour ordeal. And then I was told I should visit Wickstrom in Barrington. So I did. Dealing with Wickstrom and Don DiPaulo was unlike any other car experience I had. I wanted a two door Wrangler and BOOM! - there it was. Don didn't try to shove the 4-door down my throat or dance the jig trying to get me to go for the Wagoneer. There was no "add this" or "you really need undercoating - now!" The entire experience was painless - Don DiPaulo was very pleasant and accommodating and (I couldn't believe this part) I didn't want to strangle him and (even more unbelievable) i was out of there in less than 90 minutes.     They didn't complete the recall on my car, the last step was to fully charge the car to ensure the…read morelevel 3 charging recall fix was working and I got it back about half charged. We made the service appointment for the recall repair online and when I dropped off my car I was told that the technician was gone for the day (Friday) and we either had to leave the car over the weekend or come back on Monday. I could not again take extended time away from work on Monday (or otherwise) to come back for another appointment so I left my car and took their loaner. When I returned the car I didn't fill up the couple gallons of gas I used because the only reason I had to use a gas vehicle was because they didn't accurately coordinate that the correct technician would be available to service my car and I didn't have the time for a second extended visit. They told me that they didn't confirm whether the correct technician would be there for the service because we make the appointment online and refused to refund their gas charges. There is nothing noting that I needed to call to make a specific appointment and they made no apologies about the fact that they accepted my appointment without having the correct staff available for it. They could care less that I had to make two trips and were completely unaccountable for their system not scheduling service appropriately AND didn't even fully complete the recall. Won't go back.

Here were the top annoyances: Air Conditioning - Broke completely in the middle of our July trip, the mechanic said it was quite old and missing some screws. It wasn't possible to fix on the road, so we had no AC for 4 days. Sensors - Many of the key sensors were inaccurate. Ex: black tank level, water level. This proved very challenging for first time RVers like us, who didn't have a feel for how often to empty or refill tanks. Door - The screen door was missing a piece of plastic, which created a hole for bugs to come in and the door itself required a VERY hard closure to latch. My kids could rarely do it themselves. Awning - Not functional; directions in troubleshooting book didn't match type of awning on our RV. Generator - Shut off inexplicably a few times. Mattress - VERY old and worn. Electrical panel - Literally kept closed with duct tape and wouldn't stay closed. Easy to accidentally turn things off. Privacy curtain - Held back with duct tape. Easily knocked open.
