I have been hesitant to write this review for quite some time now, in fear of making my situation with Patrick Collision Center worse. On March 22nd 2019, 3 weeks after I had my daughter, I was hit while driving my Cadillac that I lease from Patrick Cadillac. Thankfully, the only that was hurt was my vehicle. I shouldn't say thankfully because, since then my car remains at the collision center. My daughter just turned 5 months old! During the past 4.5 months, we have been told everything under the sun about why we still do not have our vehicle. First it was a part that was on back order, then it was a paint issue, then it was an assembly issue. Finally, my boyfriend and I had had enough of the excuses and went to Patrick Cadillac to see if we could get out of our lease and into another vehicle. Patrick Cadillac's response was to get us into another Cadillac that was $200 more than we currently pay. Luckily, we got a call from the collision center that our car would be ready at the end of the week. That was six weeks ago and we still do not have our vehicle. I have been contacting the collision center every week since then and continually get the same response that our car will be ready by the end of the week. Latest, the beginning of next week. At this point, we have exhausted all of our resources trying to get our car back. We went into Patrick Cadillac today to see again, if we could get out of our lease and into another vehicle. And again, their response was to offer another Cadillac that was more expensive but this time, we would need to put $5000 down in order to get the car. We can not afford that. Did I mention that we are still paying $450 a month for a car we do not have? Today, I was told that there is yet another part back order and there is no eta to get the part or have our vehicle back to us. I have called Cadillac customer service multiple time, contacted the insurance company, visited and called both the Patrick Cadillac and the collision center to no avail. So, now I'm turning to social media and writing reviews. If you have any tips of how to best handle this situation, please let me know. Although, it pains me to continue to waste energy on this situation, I will continue to call and write everyone until this is rectified. Wish me luck that this all comes to an end soon! read more

I purchased a Cadillac from a different dealership in the area (which was a huge mistake). I should have gone to Patrick Cadillac to begin with. A while after purchase, I needed some pretty intensive work done on the car and the dealership I purchased it from would not do the work. I also signed up for an extended warranty at the time and they suggest I take it here to get the work done. From the moment I walked through the service doors, the experience with Patrick Cadillac was exceptional. Rose took care of everything, even dealing with the warranty company, which I could only imagine must have been a nightmare. The process was quick and painless on my end. All I have to say is the best buying experience I have ever had in my life Mike Ruiz the manager went above and beyond anything I could've ever expected in my wildest dreams. The process was very simple very straightforward and very easy at no time did I feel pressure or did I feel like anything else but the truth was being told to me. There was nothing that I asked for that was refused. Absolutely unreal experience. Joe the salesperson was efficient quick and super accommodating. John The finance manager had our paperwork done and ready to go in half the time of any other dealer that I've been to. He also was no pressure. But I do recommend highly that you purchase the tire and wheel option especially in this area with the huge potholes and construction John gave me a great deal. Mike never let me out of his sight to make sure that everything was done properly. I have confidence that if anything is ever wrong with my vehicle that they will take care of me to the fullest. Believe the bad reviews, unfortunately I didn't and am regretting using this place. No concern for client safety when checking cars, zero communication, they avoid your calls, and have zero intentions on keeping promises. I was looking for a CPO Volvo and Patrick had a good inventory. I am out of state so I was buying sight unseen and got in contact with the dealership. I thought I would be working with Patrick Volvo but was connected to the Cadillac Dealer. Phoenix was my sales guy, and all was good, he even called me over Duo to show me the car "in person" and was very responsive. Cool dude to deal with, even tried to help me with my issues after the sale. Unfortunately that is where the good stops. When I went to pick the car up (drove 350 miles) the paperwork was not done, and I had to wait, even though they had several days to prepare and knew I was on a tight timeline. The finance lady was horrible to deal with, and did not give me the printed paperwork, telling me it would be emailed immediately (it wasn't till 2 weeks later after multiple requests and complaints for it, pretty sure that was illegal). IF you hear the name Jose Gonlazes please run for the door immediately. This guy will promise you the sun and the moon and then not return any calls, emails, or call transfers inside the dealership. Lying and avoiding is his game. He could not find the second key for the car that was promised, and said he would mail it. After several weeks of asking for it, and no returned calls, I had to call the head guy Steve S (who was also little help in the end). On my way home at highway speed the car would vibrate when braking, another thing I asked to address that took over 2 months. Since I was 350 miles away they told me they would schedule a visit to my local dealer and pay for any service, well after 8 calls/emails of babysitting the situation I got with the board of directors of Patrick Cars and they finally forced these clowns to do something. I still had to front the money to cut a new key and get brakes done (which should have been checked on CPO Volvo, clearly they don't care about the safety of the cars). They technically did not reimburse me the entire amount, as I felt they need to pay me for my labor to get the situation handled, so while they still own me money I feel it it easier and more calming to never talk to anyone there again. Please believe the bad reviews, I ignored them and went with the good ones, but only the bad scenarios played out. You'd be better off at a shady used dealer, these guys are just "lipstick on a pig" (and that's actually extremely insulting to a pig in this situation). read more

Was sold a car that has been constantly in the auto shop. Bought the warranty through Zurich and it doesn't cover anything even though Sam told us it would cover bumper to bumper. Was lied to on how the previous owner of the SUV we purchased took amazing care of it. We were told everything we wanted to hear. Never trust this dealership. read more

Had a horrible experience at Motorwerks and hoping Patrick can fix that reputation for Cadillac in general. I am happy (so far) with the fix but am a little upset that you charged my credit card for $3.83 for 'gas' in the loaner, when I drove it a total of 14 miles. That isn't a gallon of gas - and I returned it with the tank at the same line as I received it. Plus it was FILTHY inside. Not a great first impression for your dealership. read more

Excellent experience at this dealer. I purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade Luxury through sales person Tre' White and the level of service was excellent. He handled me and my family both professionally and with the care and attention we needed. Giving us the time to make a decision and of course letting us touch and feel the vehicle in a way that we could truly picture our family in it. Obviously, an Escalade is a family purchase it's not just one individual's comfort it's the whole family and this vehicle is exquisite. The dealership is top notch and that is a direct result of the way Mr. White treated me and my family during what has been in the past a very stressful experience. Purchased a 2012 Cadillac SRX AWD a few days ago and could not be happier with the car. It is in great shape. Sam was the salesman appointed to my wife and I. He was very knowledgeable and courteous, and above all, NOT pushy! Quite the opposite. When in negotiations he even made a point to ask if we'd like a few minutes to ourselves to discuss the numbers - which left a very favorable impression. We didn't have to request\demand a few minutes to think. If you are in the market for a Cadillac, and are in any way within driving distance of this location, I would highly recommend. I bought a used CTS from Patrick with the promise of fixing a running light and a small blemish on the back bumper. 2 days later, the battery died, and they put in a new one at no charge. I had to wait through the mechanic strike, but then they fixed everything as promised. In fact, they made the bumper look perfect, which was more than the salesman promised. Today, I took it in for a failed throttle body module, which they also fixed for free. Each time I got an XTS or XT5 to drive as a loaner at no charge. It has been a rough start for this used car, but they have stood behind the sale and fixed everything beyond my expectations. The used car purchase negotiation was as straightforward as it could be. My family and I came down to look at a certified pre owned Cadillac ATS 2015 last Friday. We instantly fell in love with the car, took it for a test drive and then purchased the vehicle. Merza was our sales advocate that helped get us through the process of sealing the deal, he made our trip to Schaumburg excellent! Merza is by far the best person we encountered while at Patrick Cadillac. Our family looks forward to doing business with Merza and Patrick Cadillac again in the future! My new ATS is running great and has gotten many compliments from people that see it. Merza is also very good about follow up emails to make sure if you have any questions about your new vehicle that he can walk you through it. This has helped me greatly since I've only had a 2003 Cadillac SLS and things have advanced so greatly in the vehicle industry. read more

My dad had the same thing happen to him somewhere else with his black car - when you get it back , there are like micro scratches all over the car from buffing . Made a appointment as directed to see a used car. The sales manager showed us the car we test drove it and made a deal on price. All went well till deal was struck. I told them I was paying for the car upfront and no financing. After that we waited standing in lobby as there was nowhere to sit for 1hr and 45 min without any direction from manager as he was nowhere to be found. I was the only customer the whole time I was there. Finally got a hold of a sales manager and he got upset when I asked him what the hold up was. I guess if your not financing they don't really want your Buisness. At one point he said you don't have to buy it if you don't want to wait. That is no way to treat a customer. I finally got help from a salesman that heard me and saw me there for now over 2 hrs. Hew brought me the plates and papers for me to sign and I was on my way. I figured I was going to a reputable dealer and was not going to get the run around but I was very wrong. Would never go back or recommend to anybody I know. read more

Is it possible to give ZERO stars? The service center at this dealership is completely ignoring my father and his air conditioning problem. My dad is one of the hardest working men alive and at the age of 80 decided to buy the car of his dreams. Do you know what he told me? "This will probably be the last car I buy." The car will likely kill him if the way the air conditioning has been failing is Any sign of how well it was put together. After many attempts to rectify the issue in Schaumburg with no success; my father took the car to a Caddy service center in Madison WI to check it out (because the only time the problem occurs is on long drives). They found an issue with a valve. My dad took this information to Patrick Cadillac and the service center ignored it and refused to fix the problem. They suggested more freon. Again. As if when it didn't solve the problem every other time it would actually work now. After they make money off the sale of your car, Patrick Cadillac will no longer care about you. Especially if you are older. read more

I wish I can give a negative rating for this dealership. We saw a Black Friday deal for 2016 SRX. Knowing that these go fast we called in ahead and made an appointment to come in. During the call we have been told there are still 3 cars available within this promotion. Here is the condensed version of our visit. (Us) - We came to see the ad for SRX (Sam the Salesperson) - The ad is for 2015 and the car is sold (Us) - The ad is for 2016 model (Sam) - This car is sold as well, but we have other demo models that can get you to the same deal (Us) - We called ahead and been told there are 3 cars stills left We didn't get the acknowledgement or comments regarding this statement. At this point, we have told the salesperson that we only came for that specific deal only. We have been assured that this will be worked out. After a demo drive we started to discuss the numbers. (Sam) - To get this specific deal you have to be Costo member and a previous GM car owner (Us) - This is not part of the ad (Sam) - There is a disclaimer in the ad that should say exclusions apply/see the sales person (Us) - There are no disclaimers, we checked A manager (I believe) came over and told to us, there must be a typo in the ad regarding exclusions. We have been told that tomorrow they will talk to general manager. The next day (after back and forth and calling to dealership numerous times) we have been told by Sam that this will not work out. We need to be Costco members and GM owners. Unlike the night before, where the stress was that the ad is not right, this time he said that the specific car was sold - end of story. I tried to reach general manager - Enzo. Every time I called it went to voicemail. He didn't even have a time for the courtesy call to us. I tried to figure out whom else can I call to complaint, but was continuously referred to Enzo. The ad is still on their web-site. No one made any changes or updates. All they had to do was to give the information upfront and then let us make an informed decision before the test drive and time commitment. I have been a customer of Patrick Dealerships before, but rest assured this was the last time I shop there. read more

Probably the worse service I have ever seen - how can people just ignore your requests? I brought it in for a recall which they did (cause they got paid) and then I asked for an estimate to have some body work done. They never even got a quote! I went to pick it up and asked for my quote and they are like - dah? I guess we did not do it - so I complained - the manager took a picture and said he would get me a quote and a week later - NOTHING! I even emailed the email on the website - brogers@patrickcars.com THREE TIME WITHOUT ANY REPLIES. They are however good at giving you bullshit estimates - $100 to replace a lightbulb. Bought a new Cadillac in June and was told that it came with a one year subscription to SiriusXM radio. In September I received a letter from SiriusXM that my subscription expires on September 16. So I called my sales representative to inquire about this.. voice mail so I left a message,no call back. Next day I called again. Voicemail but got a return call and was told that he would check into this and would call me back with an answer On September 12 had to call back again.. voicemail then got a return call and was told that SiriusXM changed the new car trial on May 1. Typical sales B. S. I would be careful with theses sales people here. I don't know what other surprises I might be in for . So I can't really give this dealership a good recommendation. read more

Had a decent Jeep Wrangler, these guys had a well maintained pre-owned Acura MDX from a trade in. I wanted a safer car. Took some rather amusing arguing with the guy that actually has the final word on the price, but I feel I got a fair deal. The negotiation was expected, I'm sure these guys don't make much on pre-owned cars. But five stars for Steve Popp, my salesman. I really trusted everything he told me. He's only been in the industry less than a year, but this guy has small biz experience and understands that honesty and building a reputation will come full circle (I've got a small business myself). Even though the car I was looking at wasn't a Caddy or Saab, he knew his stuff and treated me as if I was going to lease an Escalade. I'll be calling him once I have 5 kids instead of just a dog for that Escalade, too. read more

I bought my Escalade from Patrick Cadillac. From the time of initial scheduled services, I received bad service. So I started taking my Escalade to Motorwerks in Barrington. How refreashing to be treated like a VIP every time I go there. With time going on Patrick Cadillac kept sending me flyers, and junk mail. I have asked them to take me off their mailing list numerous times. I guess you can say Patrick Cadillac has too much money that they can keep sending out the junk mail. I wouldn't buy another car or get any car serviced from them. They just don't care. Its all about them, not the customer. read more

Brought my truck here on 3 different occasions to the service department regarding 2 very loud noises coming from the carriage of my vehicle... I was told by the third time it was "things" in my car making this noise.... the noise was a loud squeaky metal on metal sound FYI .... Pete and his associates were very arrogant and rude about the situation... so finally after myself having to take him out in my truck to show him the noise ... they were ready to reschedule my appt yet again to get this problem fixed... by this point I was very disappointed in the customer service aswell as the quality of work being done to resolve this problem ... so I went To NAPERVILLE CADILLAC and they found 2 very serious problems with my vehicle ... 1st problem brake pads tangled into the rotor... 2 nd problem emergency brake line that runs under the car was the loud squeaky noise that had to be fixed! My very first message that I have ever put on Yelp about anything that went to your dealership has gone unanswered. I have waited over a week for some form of contact from you, a phone call, a text message, an email, or a letter would be acceptable. ANY form of contact containing ANY type of excuse would be acceptable at this point. At the very minimum this would show the public that you recognize and are trying to solve the problem of a unhappy customer.
