We were very impressed with Patriot Moving! They're super professional and helpful. Maciej was fast in responding to all of my questions. The movers are very experienced. They helped disassemble and re-assemble our big furniture (bed, tables, big L shape desk), wrapped the furniture and TVs so well, and handled everything with care. Great experience! Our movers, Luke and Greg, were super friendly, timely, and professional with all of our belongings. They were cautious moving items around corners, avoided the doorways, walls and stairs. They were very efficient taking apart, wrapping, and assembling furniture and brought off of our boxes to the corresponding rooms. They were very reasonably priced and the quote was accurate. The packers were very considerate and kind and arrived on time and worked very hard to get it all done as quickly as possible. The movers were very professional and took very good care of my belongings, nothing broken or damaged. I was quoted 6 hours and they completed in 7, including the hour of travel time. They were NOT milking the clock, they all worked very hard. The unpacker was the same woman that helped with the packing. She was amazing, I was almost totally unpacked on the same day that I moved. I am in the middle of a move with school starting for kids and took time off from work. Maciej from Patriot texted me right before the time that his folks will be late since their first move was running late. I texted back and asked to make sure that his team is fresh and not tired since it was a natural thought being a second move and also with a bunch of stuff. And also said it will rain later today. Maciej called back and was extremely rude with me threatening to cancel because I asked that earlier question. Regardless real bad customer service instead of assuring us that our move will be great, he threatened to cancel. At this point I didn't feel comfortable and asked to cancel. read more

This is a very professional moving company! I moved from one neighborhood of Chicago to another. They were very responsible and careful with my belongings and were very reasonably priced. They did end up using three workers instead of two because of a second job they had later in the day and my unit was far from my freight elevator. Took 4 hours total for a one bedroom move with a tiny elevator in the new place. Would recommend to my friends and family and will be using them again! read more

I worried a little since there weren't many reviews, but I'm happy I went with these guys. They moved me into a third floor apartment with narrow steps and no elevator on a hot day, no complaints. The experience started out promising. Was happy with the quote. Matt answered my questions promptly including that he would provide 3 trucks and 7 men as it was a large move. Moving day arrived and he showed up with 2 trucks and 6 men, but assured me the job would get done. Yes, they worked hard and we even bought them all lunch. Then "it" hit the fan. When the trucks were fully loaded, they informed us there was no more room and had to leave 10% of our stuff. Matt said they would return the next day around 2 to finish. I had to call him several times the next day and he could not commit to any ETA. He then started giving other movers who could do it and were expecting my call. Both recommended movers said no they couldn't accommodate us. So Matt lied to put me off. My husband and I are 70 and spent the last 2 days loading our SUV's and with the help of our Handyman, had to get all the rest of our belongings out before our buyers took possession. Now Matt is saying he never said he was coming back. If that was the case, I would never had paid him! This guy underestimated the work and we have never been more stressed and exhausted in our lives! Do not use this company! read more

Maciej of Patriot Moving was awesome. He responded less than 15 minutes after I placed my request through Yelp. Maciej is the owner. Communication was great. I needed a company who could move a very heavy piece of furniture (over300lbs) up 1 flight of stairs within my house. They gave me a courtesy call on the day of the move to inform me how soon they would arrive. Maciej and his co-worker thought ahead to bring extra equipment to prevent any possible damages moving this furniture may cause. Both were wearing masks before entering my home. They picked this 350lb monster up like it was a baby and easily placed it in the room were I requested it to be. The only thing they touched was the furniture. They were both very polite and waved goodbye after leaving the house. I considered the flat rate price that was charged very reasonable. Definitely fast, efficient and courteous.
