We stopped in to have 1 drink for the road from Aqua Boil. The well margerita not frozen was $5. The service was very cool, very nice and friendly. The ambiance was a cool vibe everybody sitting eating and drinking or just drinking. It's a small establishment but it gets the job done.

Came for happy hours 7$ margaritas and honestly a good price. Service was good and always full. Music was kinda loud though but the outdoor seating is nice.

This place was 100% amazing. I came here for margarita day here with my gf and her friend and we absolutely loved it. Our server and bartender Carlos was amazing and made our experience so much better as well. The space itself wasn't huge but definitely organized well to fit a lot of people. The food was a 9/10 with a GREAT portion size and the drinks were definitely worth the price. Will definitely come back if in the area.

I've been coming to this place for years since its by my work. The main draw is the drinks. They have these creative, 20oz + booze-filled cocktails both on the rocks and frozen. They're usually filled with flavors/puree and candy such as gummy penguins, lollipops and more. They're usually very tasty and strong. On weekdays there is a happy hour for 9oz $5 maragritas on the rocks or frozen. Three of them equal about the same or more ounces as one of their giant margaritas but for a cheaper price. Just 2 can get you woozy. As for the food, I find that a lot of their items lack flavor. I've tried the nachos, guac, quesadillas, fajitas, and more. The fajitas don't have much flavor, besides the actual taste of the peppers and onions. The steak could use something more, even just salt. The service is also a little inconsistent. You'll be cared for initially but then it's like they forget about you after. Its hard to call someone over because they're always zooming by fast or the music is loud and they can't hear you. This place gets lively past 5pm. They've always seemed to have a consistent crowd. If you sit at the bar and make friends with the staff, something they'll give you a shot. Even though the food has mixed reviews for me, I'll still keep coming back because it is a fun spot with good drinks.

Dropped by Patrons for a hearty Mexican lunch and I was starving . Cute Mexican casual bar decor with the classic excellent Mexican service ( great salsa music too ). I ordered a Modelo and a chicken burrito . Que Linda ! The burrito was really authentic and exceptionally tasty - really good ! I was impressed and will be back ! Gracias Modelo

Taco Tuesday!! Interestingly enough, this cute spot did not pop up on our Yelp when we were looking for a place but, thankfully we walked passed it & the vibe called us in the staff were all so friendly and attentive. Could be slightly crowded, however, again - it's a vibe! If you're not looking for good energy, fun music mixed with great drinks and food, keep it movin. There's a really cute outdoor/patio section that's only open on weekends - would've loved to have chilled out there as the inside can get hot with no AC. I gotta say, my fave part of this visit was the rice and beans :chefs kiss: The rest was also yummy, however, seems like they leave some flavoring off for you to fix as you feel best fit - adding lime, hot sauces, etc. I think that if I wasnt sweating so bad, I would've stayed longer for some more drinks Cool, chill spot - happy we came across it.

Stopped by here after seeing a Broadway play and waiting for our dinner reservation. $5 frozen or on the rocks margaritas (+$2 for fruit flavors) is advertised so we decided to try! I ordered a traditional margarita on the rocks made with house tequila...it was ok for $5. Friends ordered a frozen mango margaritas and they said it was decent. They also tried the guacamole ($15 medium size) and feedback was it was good but a little too much lime.

Patron is a Mexican restaurant I've been meaning to try for a while. After stopping by recently, I was very impressed and understand why it's always busy. They had great Taco Tuesday specials, along with an impressive $5 margarita that was delicious. We ordered the chicken tacos and steak tacos. They're not very big so definitely make sure you get multiple. They were amazing and packed with flavor. It also came with some guac which was phenomenal. We really liked the atmosphere and fun vibe of the place. This is definitely somewhere I would return to.

We had our usual list of spots in Midtown East, but this time we wanted something a little different. We ultimately landed on Mexican, however even then there were several spots to chose from. One of my colleagues found CdM, and since we had nothing to lose we decided to check it out. In terms of physical space at CdM, there is very little; this is actually a walk-up spot hence it is solely a takeout restaurant. The menu is pretty straightforward - lots of Mexican staples with a good variety to choose from. The burrito bowl looked good so I decided to go with that - I was given choice of protein (I chose pastor) and types of beans (I chose black). The bowl was really good - all the ingredients tasted fresh and they were generous with the portion. They added sour cream to the top of the bowl and it came with a side of salsa verde which I thought was a nice touch. We also ordered some bags of tortilla chips to share - these were my favorite kind as they were semi-thick and super crunchy. Overall, I had a solid experience at Cinco de Mayo. It definitely hit the Mexican craving spot and I would have no qualms returning for another meal.

Also got guacamole and chips as a side - which was on the smaller side given the price. All in all it's a good lunch option in the city!

I had this place bookmarked for a while. Finally came for my birthday dinner. It was a rainy…read moreevening and I was hoping there'd be umbrella sleeves offered. I didn't see any but saw buckets for umbrellas. I opted not to leave it there since I didn't wanna forget or risk someone taking it. I took it upstairs with me. My friend had arrived and was seated. Apparently, they do offer sleeves because she got one. But the 3 people who were at the hostess booth failed to offer me one. The beautiful ambiance will get your attention immediately. It is a stunning space. The tableware was gorgeous as well. We waited for our last friend to arrive who was almost half an hour late before ordering (we thought she'd arrive sooner). Our server, Matias was gracious about it the whole time. What we ordered: Drinks: Passionfruit Margaritas & Mojito - we were happy with them. Tlayudas, Guacamole y Salsas - this was really good and a great option for the table to share. The homemade chips alone were excellent. Liked all the different dips. Guac could've used some cilantro and more acid/spice. Tán Ceviche - I loved this. Super fresh and great flavor. Could use a touch of acid. My entree was the Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas - This was pretty good. The sauce could've used some spice and some acid to cut through the richness. My friend ordered the Yellow Corn Soup as part of her meal and she did not like it. She said it was too sweet which I thought was strange. I tried a spoonful and I agreed with her. It needed a savory note and again, acid would've done wonders. Also, the crab was a bit fishy in this. She enjoyed her tamal though. I tried a touch of the sauce and it was delish. My other friend had the Quesabirria which she was also happy with. To sum up: Ambiance: 5/5 The space is undoubtedly gorgeous. Food: 4/5 Beautiful presentation on everything but each dish lacks an element or two to make it a home run. Staff: Wait staff 5/5. Downstairs staff (greeters/hostess) 4/5. Needs to be more on point like offering customers sleeves for umbrellas or pointing out the buckets to put them in. At some point through our entrees a group of 3 women were doing a 10-minute photo shoot by the stairway where our table was. Absolutely inappropriate behavior and a manager should've stopped it. Camera flashes all up in our faces while we're eating wasn't cool. Overall, still a great elevated Mexican cuisine option. The slight tweaks would make this a 5 star place for me. I'd return to try more things.

What a GORGEOUS space. Whoever interior decorated this restaurant deserves their tens because it is…read morea spectacle. I had only seen daytime pics, but being there in the evening is a treat. If you are someone who is looking at an aesthetic place, this is a top contender. Unfortunately, I would say this place is better looking than the food is good. The food was fine, appetizers were all fresh but lacked any real depth in flavor. I wasn't too thrilled with the bone marrow I had either (but the tortillas come in the cutest basket). Personally, if it wasn't for the drinks and the space, I cant say this place is worth it - you're not coming here for the food. Another little complaint I have is the women's restroom on the second floor - right by the door is a floor to ceiling mirror which I understand was included to make the space seem bigger, but my friends and I agreed that it is a little misleading - I kept wanting to walk into it thinking there was more space there and not wall. I would recommend maybe putting a decal on it to clearly show its mirror.
