Bottom line: Our delivery pizzas from Patronies Pizza hit the spot this beach trip. They took a bit to complete our order but we found it worth the wait. Our particular favorite out of them all was their White Pizza but we also enjoyed the Meat Lovers and Supreme pizzas as well. The whole beach house was glad we gave them a try! The Deets: In a continuing search for a good pizza delivery meal this beach trip after our first try this trip did not pan out perfectly, we chose to try out a new place for us in Patronies Pizza. They do not deliver themselves but are available through DoorDash, they informed us. We chose to get all 14" pizzas, one of them their White Pizza, one of them their Supreme Pizza, and another one of Meat Lovers Pizza. Adding on some cheesy bread and mini cannolis, we locked it in. Our DoorDasher had to wait a good while for our order to get completed per app, but when it arrived we were pleased. Their pizzas have plenty of toppings per pizza, satisfying and sturdy crust (I could stand it a bit thinner/cripsier but that's just me), and each different variety tasting so good! The biggest hit of the beach house was their White Pizza, I would definitely recommend trying this one out here. The other pizzas were satisfying and tasty as well, and I enjoyed their cheesy bread. Top it off with a bit of dessert from their mini cannolis and you've got one heck of a good delivery meal for our beach trip. The wine selection is bottom shelf only. The calzone had no flavor and the pizza ingredients were obviously all canned, frozen or Sysco ingredients. Nothing about this place is authentic except maybe the decorations on the wall. The service was fast and friendly so we definitely took care of our waitress but the food was just not the hype we had heard about. read more

IMHO Patronies has the best pizza around here IF you eat in (nobody's pizza travels well, it has to be hot, fresh and crispy right out of the oven). We've never been disappointed with their pizza. Haven't tried the pasta yet, so can't speak to that. Cute little place with Formica tables (retro) and lots of memorabilia on the walls. Friendly servers. This place is packed during busy season. I just spoke to Mary, Manager, regarding pizza that was delivered -$150 order. There was at least 2 inches of sauce on pepperoni, meat lovers, and the white pizza. We could not eat it. Mary said that she could not refund , etc. She stated the pizza always has 2 inches of sauce even though they don't advertise. Luckily this place had came recommended and it didn't disappoint. We got the bbq chicken, Philly steak, and a pepperoni mushroom pizza. We placed an online order right after we got into town on a Saturday, and to our surprise it said "Ready in 30 minutes" for an order of three pizzas, two garlic knots, and two salads. When I arrived to pick it up, the cashier quickly found our order, and I was out the door headed back home. Pros: 1.) Easy online ordering system, which allowed me to checkout as a guest and not make an account. 2.) Speedy service. The order was ready in 30 minutes as the system told us when we placed the order. 3.) Variety of pizza and non-pizza options. Cons: 1.) The pizza was good, but not great. I'd definitely order again for a quick meal or to fulfill a pizza craving, but not going out of my way for it. 2.) The garlic knots (at least for our to-go order) came in metal tins with garlic butter on the side. The knots were barely warmed, which was surprising considering the pizza was piping hot. We ended up pouring the garlic butter over them and reheating in the oven, which worked out well. Overall a nice spot we would definitely return to! read more

We are local, and not vacationers. We ordered six pieces of hot wings, two side salads (that were swimming in water!), and two iced teas for dinner. Cost was close to $30!!! Had a takeout order of a margarita pie, wings and these awesome Zeppoles with Cinnamon. I would highly recommend the pizza, I would ask for well done however as I like my pie more on the crispy side. The wings were pretty large for North Carolina standards we got the parmigiana garlic flavor which were amazing. They were crispy and very delicious. Takeout was fast and I loved how the women double checked my order which by surprise someone missed the ranch dressing. We are in town for the weekend and wanted to try a few local places. I am always down for pizza so when we saw this place we had to try it. Service was amazing! We got seated relatively quickly and our server was very nice and helpful. We got the cheesy bread and garlic knots and they were both absolutely wonderful. The 2 pizza's we got was the meat lovers and the shrimp Parmesan and they were both absolutely amazing too! The building is a very like older but with modern touches. We had a large party and got seated right away. Our waitress was great and she kept on top of our refills and any other requests we had. Fried pickles and Dill pickle cheesy bread were shared for the starters and a hit. I shared 12 wings (6 of garlic Parmesan and 6 of lemon pepper) and we split a calzone. The wings were nice and crispy. They could have maybe used some extra sauce but that can be fixed so overall they were great. The calzone was bigger than its plate and was very good too. 12 wings and a calzone between two people was more than enough and in the best way. I asked them the difference between a small and a large they were pretty rude and said 10 inches versus 14. I ordered a small and they said it would be ready at a specific time. I got there five minutes early and it was ready 30 minutes later. Several people came and picked stuff up. Many people were seated. I had already paid for mine, I didn't seem to be the only person waiting, but when there was a large order, they seem to be on time.. When it came out it was so small I couldn't believe it. Nobody offered me water, apologized for being late or anything. I think it's just the only place around here. So sad. read more

Great establishment and has a lot to look at with the vintage decor/music and NYC decorations that honor the firefighters and police. The appetizers, subs, pizzas, calzones, pockets & desserts are wonderful. They have large portions so be ready to eat heavily. The decor was very eclectic which made for a fun activity of reading all of the signs and musing about them with my family. Service was friendly and decently quick. Our waitress laughed at the dad jokes being flung around so she gets extra points. The paper plates threw us off a little bit but it added to the charm of the place for me. The service isn't very friendly but they're usually busy so we understand that it can be stressful. Having one one register to check out is a serious pain and it takes forever to pay the bill. Unfortunately, my party of 5 all got very ill from eating here in July. Three of us were hit within minutes of eating (before we even left the restaurant) and the other two of us were hit a short time after we got back to the house. It made for an awful 24 hours.
