Stopped in after a long travel day. Food was just ok. Nothing to brag about. Staff were super friendly and food was ready quick even with it being so busy.

Supreme, pepperoni, and White Pizza. Fed 9. We were super happy.

Patronies doesn't miss. We DD'ed Patronies the night we moved in for our vacation. S/O to the DD driver - Pizza that was hot fresh and delicious in under an hour. That crust hits so good. Whether a dine in or a delivery- get Patronies!!!

Very fun atmosphere with great decor, friendly and accommodating staff, but mediocre food. The mozzarella sticks had a lot of grease trapped inside and the shrimp Alfredo tasted only of pepper. Lots of seating available and a wide food and drink menu

We are in town for the weekend and wanted to try a few local places. I am always down for pizza so when we saw this place we had to try it. Service was amazing! We got seated relatively quickly and our server was very nice and helpful. We got the cheesy bread and garlic knots and they were both absolutely wonderful. The 2 pizza's we got was the meat lovers and the shrimp Parmesan and they were both absolutely amazing too! The building is a very like older but with modern touches. It's a very nice environment that is reasonably priced. If I ever visit back up this way I will definitely be stopping back by!

We had a large party and got seated right away. Our waitress was great and she kept on top of our refills and any other requests we had. Fried pickles and Dill pickle cheesy bread were shared for the starters and a hit. I shared 12 wings (6 of garlic Parmesan and 6 of lemon pepper) and we split a calzone. The wings were nice and crispy. They could have maybe used some extra sauce but that can be fixed so overall they were great. The calzone was bigger than its plate and was very good too. 12 wings and a calzone between two people was more than enough and in the best way. I also noticed when we were paying at the counter they also have homemade desserts like cheesecake and cannolis which looked delicious and I wish I would have saved room for.

That shows the comparison of a bottle of water to the pizza.

Solid Neapolitan style pizza. We order online and pickup. It is always busy, but it is worth the wait. Try the dill pickle pizza!

A very long wait for delivery (may be due to Saturday arrivals/multiple delivery orders) but the pizzas were not hot and not what we expected when delivered. Adequate tasting pizza. The Deets: We usually get pizza our first night arriving in Holden Beach and this time was not different. However, this time we decided to go with trying some place new in Sorella Pizza & Pasta (I would have preferred a pasta/meal from here but house ruled pizza, I go with the flow). Choices were made with the Hawaiian Punch 16" pizza (ham, pineapple, bacon, shredded mozzarella, tomato sauce from online menu) and the Holden Beach Hammer 16" pizza (online menu described as their "everything" with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, black olives, tomato sauce). I can understand that Saturday arrival can be a busy day for restaurants doing delivery and it was explained that it would take a long while. But it was at least an hour and half or more, and the house was getting restless. The delivery person apologized for the long wait time and we appreciated that. When we opened up the two pizzas, first of all noticed they were not hot. Again, there were a lot of deliveries I am guessing but it definitely was not hot and with it being just down the road a bit, a bit disappointing. The Hawaiian Punch pizza was the one that did not really meet everyone's expectations. The crust, while thin, seemed to be a bit underdone. If I get a thin crust pizza, I do expect it to be crispy as well. Also the toppings were a bit underwhelming as well but I found the taste adequate for being hungry, I had a couple of slices. The Holden Beach Hammer pizza was more of a rectangular pizza in appearance and the crust was significantly thicker and more doughy (personally, not my favorite type of pizza crust). The toppings seemed OK but not over generous for what was described, however tasted adequate again. It may be chalked up to a very busy Saturday arrival day time, but I feel this delivery pizza experience was more around an "OK" one if anything. I am hoping to try Sorella in the future where I can get one of the Italian pasta or meal menu selections to see how they do with those.

When we asked about all the open tables she snapped "the one that's being bussed? It's reserved." And made sure to be a smart ass about it. My grandfather is on hospice and is close to the ends while my mom and grandma have been taking care of him. On Mother's Day, we visited to help and had a pretty rough day. Before we left, we wanted to give my mom and grandma a nice meal for Mother's Day. We called in two ribeyes with potatoes, salad and bread. I did ask if they could take extra care of the order and explained our situation so they knew how important this meal was. Not only was the absolute perfection, they made sure we had extra bread and butter, not just a small piece for them to split. The attention to detail to make sure this important meal was able to transport and still be perfect was something that many restaurants don't do without a request, but you can tell that they give this level of detailed attention to every order. Inside the restaurant, we watched as they took the same level of care with every dish. This level of customer service alone is enough to warrant return business. The quality of the food is an added bonus at that point. 10/10 go here if you are in the area!

We tried Luca Italian Chophouse for dinner on Good Friday. Our stuffed banana pepper appetizer was excellent, with 3 large and moderately spicy peppers stuffed with sweet Italian sausage, served with a tomato sauce and topped with Ricotta. It was a very tasty appetizer. We split a small pizza for dinner. It was about 10" as specified with a fair amount of crust. The pizza crust was a little yeasty for my taste, but it was very good and I liked the crispy crust bottom. Toppings were generous and were of good quality. It was plenty for two people. Emboldened by the first two courses, we tried the cheesecake with caramel sauce for dessert. It turned out to be a small individual cheesecake about 4" in diameter topped with strawberries and caramel. It was OK but over priced at $14. The crust was too soft and flavorless although the cheesecake itself wasn't bad. The strawberries weren't of the best quality and should have been left off. The restaurant is definitely going for the upscale Italian feel and generally succeeds. Our server was friendly and very helpful, but was exceedingly slow. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with Luca Italian Chophouse. It's definitely worth a try and we will probably eat there again the next time we're in the area. And by the way, the Easter Bunny was making its way down Main Street as we pulled out of the parking lot
