Ariel greeted me and took lots of time talking to me about what I liked, what I didn't, taking note of my hair and how it grows, etc. I got shampooed (which included a super-relaxing scalp massage--OMGSONICE) and Ariel got started. Judy greeted me warmly, and Michael was so sweet and gave me a great wash. Mark cut my hair, and I have to say, l've never had quite this experience at a salon before. He was thoughtful and really took his time getting to know me and my style. I told him I wanted to work with my hair's natural texture and wanted something that felt feminine. Honestly, it was transformative - I walked in a little nervous, since you never know how things will go with a new stylist. Mark took his time throughout the cut, regularly stepping back to assess his progress and how it looked on me. I love the final result. You know I was super hyped when I found Eclipse then called before coming here to find out if they carried my desperately-needed curly hair products. This Aveda Concept salon on N. Broadway in Tarrytown has the sit-down salon side of it with washing stations, nail stations, etc. The opposite side comes across as a separate business- but it's actually wall-to-wall stocked with almost every Aveda product out there. A little out of the way for me, but my tried-and-true hair salon that carries Aveda by me was limited on supply. So Eclipse it is for the win with pleasant staff.
