Another stop on my most recent business trip. I actually used to frequent this place back in the 1990's when I lived in the area, but it's been darn near 20 years since I have set foot in the place until this afternoon. My god it is still good! The Cheesesteak was to DIE for. As good as any of the big-name places in Philly. Really, really good. They have reduced the size a bit since back in the day, but that's probably a good thing since I can't eat quite as much as when I was young. The only complaint here would be that the staff is every bit as rude and unfriendly as they were back in the day, but what do you expect when you go into a place like this, especially in the Philly area...LOL. The bottom line is the food...and it's awesome...you will be hard-pressed to find a better Cheesesteak. read more

Shame there is no rating less than zero. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! $15 for a pepperoni and onion calzone and all I got is a big glob of cheese with bits of pepperoni and onion. Not a speck of sauce to be found. Now I have to go back out to get some food that is actually edible. read more

Plenty of seating and dedicated parking space, but was mostly empty on a weekend evening as well, so looks like mostly a to-go spot. Service was friendly enough. Ordered a meatball hoagie, took a bite from the end and found what looked to be a half eaten chicken wing inside of one of the meatballs. I immediately spit it out and brushed and rinsed. Totally disgusting!!! I can only imagine what else they do with peoples food. I was a loyal customer to this particular pat's, but not anymore. I'm done! They won't get a dime from me ever again. I'll just go to season's right up the pike instead. If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. I would recommend everyone to steer clear of this shithole. Ambience is fine to excellent for a pizza place. The service was wonderful. the "homemade linguine was so over that it was a hot brick of pasta. the sauce very old too. I'm not sure where they source their pasta from.. maybe mr pasta next door or frozen fresh idk but the tortellini with AURORA SAUCE, plain, no meat was DIVINE. Being from North NJ this was as good as quality as a NJ Italian restaurant. Def adding to my favorite list. The pizza though I don't like, the crust is too thick for me but their grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, salads, wings are all incredible options. read more

The past two times we've ordered from Pat's has been a nightmare. On both accounts the food took an unreasonable amount of time to be delivered. The most recent, the food left the store and was out for delivery for 45 minutes before it reached us. When the food finally got here it was soggy and ice cold. I am a big fan of this place and have never had a bad experience despite the negative reviews here. Just have to level set expectations--I always order online for pickup and essentially order the same thing every time, breaded wings! This is my favorite wing establishment, better than Buffalo Wild Wings, and other places. Extra crispy (you can specify) breaded wings with a side of Boom Boom sauce (a blend of hot sauce and buffalo sauce). The batter on the wings is slightly spicy and they fry it perfectly. I rarely venture off menu but recently ordered the New Orleans salad and was stunned by how fantastic it was. Large perfectly cooked shrimp flavored with Old Bay tossed with bacon pieces, chopped cherry tomatoes, bleu cheese crumbles, and croutons on a bed of spinach with balsamic vinaigrette. My husband and I can split a large salad and be full. This is definitely one of my new go to orders along with their wings! read more

I used to absolutely love this location. I always ordered directly from them and via Grubhub, however I placed an order today and was told they can no longer deliver to my house! I always tipped 20% and always made sure the drivers knew where I was. I called and was told that manager refused to send to our location. I will never use this location again. I have only ever ordered the square pizza with pepperoni and mushroom. I enjoy their pizza. Has always been good better then most pizza places around here. Pretty decent food. Staff is generally friendly and quick. The cheesesteaks are a little lacking. They are good but could definitely use a better cut of meat and more cheese. They are very messy. The burgers are large and pretty good. I'd definitely eat there again. read more

We have been here many times. The pizza is good but I recommend going with the sandwiches. Italian Beef and the Chicken Parmigiana are my favorites. If you are a fan of Calamari, they do it well. It's not fine dining, but great ball game watching, relaxing with friends food. read more

Pats used to be much better. they reduced the size of their large sandwiches a few years back and now they have greatly reduced the menu. there's much less to choose from now. the food is average. there is enough competition in the area to avoid this place altogether. read more

Not bad, I personally prefer the pats pizza and Hockessin or off of 202. The food just seems to be better quality, and typically a bit better service. That being said, the food at each restaurant follows a standard and is always the same no matter where you go. The tuna club is fantastic and typically is the only thing I order. read more

I just had to take my order back for a refund. I ordered chicken tenders and a pizza for pickup and when I got home and opened the chicken tenders there was a dead fly sitting on top of the fries. It was the first thing I saw and have no idea how anyone could have taped that box shut without seeing it first. They did apologize and refund my money and attempted to offer something else (I assumed free or discounted food) but I refused and won't be eating there or at any Pat's franchise again. read more

This business gets a zero rating. My husband and I just bought a home and we received Pat's Bistro menu in our mailbox. It looked good so I called in for delivery. The young lady who was taking my order was very nice and put me on hold. A very rude man got on the line and stated that they were not going to deliver to my address. I then asked why not, that I had never ordered from you before. He stated "I don't care lady, we have a note in our system not to deliver to your address due to a previous bad experience.". I told him that I have never had your business to deliver to me, I have never called you before. I just moved here. He stated "I don't care, not delivering to you!" . Don't get me wrong, I understand not going to a residence due to a bad experience, but people do move out and new people move in. I was going to order for pickup, that way they could meet me and perhaps build a little trust, but after he spoke to me so meanly, I will never even consider that thought again. Very unprofessional. Just ordered delivery and it took 1 hour and 15 mins. I ordered online and was tracking it and saw that the food was ready 15 minutes after I ordered. The store is 3 miles from me and it took an hour to get it here. All of the food was cold and they charged for tatziki and then didn't put it on the gyro. I've never had to pay for tatziki on a gyro. I called and spoke to the manager who offered a refund but wanted to send the driver back to pick up the cold food. The food was not even in a bag to keep it warm, making it virtually impossible to still be warm after being in a cold car for an hour. She refused any refund unless they took it all back because her boss "wouldn't let her." Complete crap, I'll never order from here or any other pats because of this. it's also close to my work and they get a lot of business from us so that'll be ending. It's been a while since I've been to Pat's but over the last two weekends out of pure laziness, I decided to do a couple of takeout orders on my way home. Sometimes you just want to relax at home on a friday night with a movie and some decent food. I got the Chicken Parm and hunny got the wings and Pizza. Pizza was just ok, but the wings were delicious. They actually smelled so good on the way home I almost took a bite. I waited til he was ready to share and they were as good as they smelled. The Chicken Parm was also good. Nice big portion, way too much for one person. Definitely enough for at least 2 meals. Spaghetti, bread and a salad to boot. Had it for lunch the next day. I like these local places and went back the next week for 2 orders of wings.( Buffalo and the garlic parmesan) We were not disappointed. Will be going back in the future. Good solid local place. Most people take out, but it's a nice place to sit and have a quiet dinner if needed. read more
