I had an Old Fashioned that was smooth and well-balanced, followed by the whisky burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My lady friend enjoyed a Lemon Drop Martini that was refreshing and perfectly mixed, and her Caprese sandwich was fresh, light, and full of flavor--simple ingredients done right. Ambiance was nice. Clean bathrooms. Food was lackluster. My margarita was the worst I ever had. It was basically a martini made with tequila. Barely ever checked on. Idk why but when my husband answered the server if we wanted a booth or a table we were given a table instead of a booth? Idk if the girl taking the order was hard of hearing or mentally incompetent or both but I told her FRIES with my sandwich and I got chips. Wife and I stopped for dinner and had a pizza and burger. The food was delicious. We did not have to wait long for our food even though the place seemed pretty busy. Stopped with the family while traveling and the kids raved about our meal. I usually check Yelp first, but thankful I didn't, because it's low overall rating would have turned us away. Modern open space with comfy tables and booths, you seat yourself, and wait for a waiter to greet you. I went for the blush shrimp ravioli. A good portion of five or six large raviolis in a tomato cream sauce topped with about four large shrimp. A shake of red pepper flake set it off. Came with a tasty caesar salad which the kids made me share. Hubby had the full size chicken caesar salad, with large pieces of moist chicken breast. Little one loved the complimentary breadsticks and dipping sauce while waiting for her kids spaghetti and meatballs Teenager had plain chicken wings, big plump pieces cooked very well, and a small mac and cheese. She is super picky, but she loved both. Everyone was happy we opted for dinner over drive through. Only complaint was from my husband that his wine pour was small. Stopped by on the way home from Hilton Head. Kind of found it by accident and I'm glad we did. Initially we thought we might be stopping in for a pizza and a beer, but it turns out we stopped in for a beer and some short rib flatbread. Man these were just fantastic. We were traveling to Ocean City Maryland and found this Gem on the way down. The atmosphere was nice. We got to sit where we wanted. My son had a pizza slice, wife had a Poke Bowl, and I had a protein plate. I was very surprised how good these meals were. Son loved the Pizza. Wife liked the Poke bowl. Felt there was more rice then needed, but enjoyed it. I am Greek so Feta, tomato, and chicken are perfect. A full block of feta is the way to go. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the service was fine. So the food is questionable some days and pretty good others. The main issue we have is the bathroom, men's specifically as I can't testify about the ladies room. It seems to have direct and unobstructed access to the vent from the entire towns sewer. If you were to take a small army and defecate in a crockpot while it's on the keep warm setting for a few months you'd be hard pressed to make it smell worse. Having worked in construction for most of my life I've experienced some bad smells but this is somehow worse and it seems that way in perpetuity. Or maybe I haven't found the crockpot yet read more

In reference to the newest dish Rigatoni A La Crème tried it today worse dish I have had from Pats. The Rigatoni's were under cooked I mean almost hard the beef were shredded pieces of beef the pan sauce was the only thing tasty about this dish. Definitely not worth the price you may want to rethink about serving this dish or cook the rigatoni better and put beef chunks instead of small amounts of shredded beef. read more

I placed a takeout order this afternoon, 2/7/23, for my husband and myself. Simple order of two rustic sandwiches, one with fries and one with a Cesar salad. I repeated the order to the employee who was taking it in the phone because I felt that person wasn't paying close attention. The employee repeated back my order correctly, yet, what we received was not correct. I don't know what more anyone can do to alleviate this from happening. This is a place my husband and I like to go to on our way to the Delaware beach. It's our go to for dinner on Friday nights. We have noticed a sharp decline in service the last two times we were in. Our food took 40+mins each time and we are not ordering anything complicated- unless you think cheesesteaks are complicated. Decent food and service! I usually order for delivery and it takes about 40 minutes to arrive. I have ordered the Fifth Avenue Chicken Sandwich and it costs $13 total and comes with fries included which are delicious! I've also ordered the Chicken Rustic and a side of roasted vegetables. The Chicken Rustic is a decent sized sandwich and comes with a good portion of fries. Again pretty good food. I would skip the roasted vegetables the next time the sauce they use is a bit strong and the portion is a bit small for $3. Together that order was about $16. There is a $3 delivery fee FYI. They have good food and friendly service so I would recommend this place if you are looking for delivery in the area. read more

Food was ok but service was terrible. Took 2 hours from seating to check and it wasn't crowded. Kids loved wings, fries, burgers the pizza was good. Pasta and wrap were ok. We felt like waitress was spread too thin and couldn't get things in a timely fashion. She never bused the table as we finished with appetizers it just kept piling up. Waiting for straws, refills, boxes and then waiting again for the check. Took so long I went to the bar to ask if bartender could print the check. She says ask your waitress. Well if I could get my waitress I wouldn't be here. I said well can I talk to a manager and her response was you need to tell your waitress. Really? Then while I'm at the bar wearing my mask a lady tells me to back up. I'm like are you for real I have a mask on how about you put yours on. I literally was there for 30 seconds asking a question. All in all between the rude bar patron, the rude bartender and waitress who was too busy I wouldn't go back or recommend. I actually feel that I made better choices for our food while ordering online. The food came a few minutes earlier than promised. The driver was very pleasant and very nice. Gave me coupons for our next order. The food is delicious as always!!!! If you are in the area, you MUST try this location as the food is always fantastic, the customer service is great and the ambiance is excellent. We live in Smyrna and this is the place to go for straight up quality food. Every time we visit. It's flawless service and the food is always on par. I would probably read through to get a better call on the entire menu because 9 out of 10 times we buy the pizza supreme and a fry. The atmosphere is fun, and hip. There is a bar with TVs usually playing a sporting event. You can have delivered, walk up counter for take out (separate from the dining room) and of course sit down. If your headed to or from the beach, headed to DSU for a game or just wrapping up another Smyrna championship game, be sure to stop into Pats in Smyrna. read more

We can order online, they usually arrive in a reasonable amount of time, and I don't think they've made any horrendous mistakes with our orders. I don't usually have a issue with pats however tonight's dinner was totally ruined. The soup we ordered spilled all over all our food and everything was ruined. I spoke with the manager and she says they will make us new stuff and send it out but I don't know if they get it. We waited a hour and a half for our food and you give me a flooded bag with soup everywhere. We had to clean it all up and it's fish soup so everything smells. Right now waiting again for food she said they would make us priority we will see but I want them to understand the inconvenience of it all. Put your damn soup in a separate bag stop being so cheap and use another bag people. Don't know what the food taste like because I can't eat it. Just extremely mad. Also manager tells me to bag it all up for them. Whatever you got it I bagged it all up in a trash bag. Wish I thought you take a picture but had to get it cleaned up. Pat's suffers from the same problem that most chain restaurants do...they're just not that good at any one thing. Whether it be sit down or take out, I've been disappointed overall with each experience. When we first move to Smyrna, Pat's was one of the first places we tried and for some reason we keep giving them a chance thinking it's going to get better. The food is okay but inconsistent in temperature and flavor. The pizza crust had virtually no flavor to the point I find myself seasoning it in some way or just not eating it because it'd be a waste of calories to do so. The few entrees we've had tasted like parts of them were frozen and then reheated. When it comes to service, our sit down experiences have never been very good. We're often waiting for refills or having to ask for something that was forgotten from our order. Management walks around glaring at people like this is an upscale place. The decor may say so but the prices and food being served says otherwise. You're a pizza place, get over yourselves. We've gotten delivery twice now and both times the driver came over 15 minutes later than the latest time quoted. We had to call to see what was going on the second time because it was pushing 30 minutes. Nothing but "They should be there soon" was given by the person on the phone. An apology would have been nice. With a bunch of other better pizza places in Smyrna like Trevi Ristorante and Pizzeria DiMeo, there is little reason to visit Pat's. read more
