I received a text yesterday reminding me that my appointment would be at 10:30 am today and to "pls arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork". I have never personally been to his clinic and was recommended to him by a relative who was nice enough to book the appointment for me. I googled his address and when I arrived and waited to get in, I was informed that he was now located at another location across the street. I drove there, waited in line to have my temperature checked, and was informed again that I was at the wrong building and needed to drive a half mile to the actual location of his office. My appointment was at 10:30 and I arrived and signed the sheet at 10:32. They informed me that I was too late to my appointment to be seen because I needed to really be there at 10 instead of 10:30 even though my appointment is at 10:30. I explained about the confusion with the address. They said they understood, but it didn't matter and that I would have to reschedule for another day even though I have waited 3 months. If in the message the said that it was 100% necessary for me to be there at 10 instead of 10:30 then I would have of course come at 9:45, but it only passively asks you to arrive early to fill out paperwork, which I WOULD HAVE DONE HAD THE ADDRESS ON HIS GOOGLE LISTING BEEN CORRECT! It no where says that it was a mandatory time of 10am in which case you should have it say "MUST BE HERE AT X TIME TO BE SEEN" in which case my appointment should have been at 10 instead of 10:30. We also had 3 months leading up to this appointment so if it was so important that I have this then why not email me the paperwork to have finished beforehand? I have never had this happen with a doctors appointment in my life and am completely thrown off at how unprofessional his staff acted. Very poor scheduling and handling of me as a new patient. I will not be back and do not recommend anyone to go here if this is how they handle their own error by not updating their address. I can't imagine how they would handle me if I had a genuine medical concern so please try anywhere else. He is apparently an amazing doctor, but that's moot if his office handles their business this way.

The waiting room was pretty crowded, but everyone seemed to be called in a timely manner. I met with a nurse, a nurse practitioner, and then Dr. Lipperd. All three were friendly and seemed to actually care. After discussing my medical history and current and past medications, I felt VERY comfortable with the entire group. This is more so a general review than a review about a recent experience…read more 1) Reception The receptionists are nice, but if you have a balance of any kind, just say you know and move on, because I asked one time and they let me know the total -- but they said it loudly enough that the rest of the waiting room could hear it too. Embarrassing to say the least. If you call them, they're nice too, but often they'll hang up immediately after you're done, no time for pleasantries. 2) Nurses The nurses here are and have always been phenomenal. Shoutout to Porsha especially, as she always greets us with a smile and takes great care of my partner and I's daughter. 3) Doctors We've met with a few of the pediatricians here, and our standard pediatrician, Dr. Brian Dudgeon, is the best out of all of them. He was actually my partner's pediatrician when she was born (his first patient) so having that level of connection is amazing. He'll take the time with you to explain what's going on, what he believes will fix it, and proceed cautiously through there. 4) Overall: I would highly recommend Greenvale Pediatrics - Hoover. The benefits fully outweigh the negatives of visiting, and if you can get seen by Dr. Dudgeon, I fully, fully recommend it!

When I visit other doctors, I think I'm doing good when I get in only 30 minutes after my appt time. He's personable, funny and has a spectacular bedside manner. He has a fantastic personality and a great attitude. He makes you feel at ease which is a pretty big feat for a man who is about to stick a huge needle in your back. I have had back pain for 7 years. I had an MRI about 2 years ago that showed L4 and L5 are partially herniated. I told the doctor how much pain I was in, and she refused to do anything except refer me to a physical therapist (I had already been to physical therapy on and off for THREE years with no relief) because "I really shouldn't have any pain at all since I only have slight nerve impingement." Btw, this was Dr. Cherie Miner at St. Vincent's. Do not go to see her! A few weeks later the pain got so bad that I could barely walk. My dad suggested I go to a chiropractor, and the chiropractor referred me to Dr. Beretta. I started seeing Dr. Beretta for epidurals in September 2013. Even though I moved to Nashville in August 2014, I continue to make the 3 hour drive every 12 weeks to have the procedure performed by him. This man has changed my life. I'm able to exercise and dance again, oh and walk, which is pretty important!
