Cute cozy and homey feeling decor. Loved all the wood accents.

Had a wonderful first visit at this cozy home town coffee shop with an amazing breakfast and lunch menu. We've driven past this cafe for years on our way to Bucks Lake and I was so excited to try it! We both opted for breakfast options since it is served all day, even though it was almost lunchtime and they did not disappoint! I had the first omelette on the menu, which was the spinach mushroom sausage, Swiss omelette with Country potatoes and an English muffin, but they have a lot of choices to fit any taste, as well as several lunch options salads, etc. They also had some homemade coffee cake and pastry options that looked exceptional as well. The service was prompt and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in Quincy,Ca as the there are limited restaurants in the area.

First time and the food was delicious. Freshly made ingredients and a great selection of food and drinks in their menu. Great friendly service and cozy ambiance.

Couldn't be happier with our stop and lunch. What a cute place. Outside seating near the sidewalk is small, cozy, and shaded by grape vines. Too small for our family of 5 and pooch. Very pooch friendly. The service was wonderful, warm and friendly. I had the chicken salad avocado salad. Really good. Fresh veggies. We also had the mushroom burger, bacon burger, veggie club sandwich, sunset sandwich with a side of tortilla soup. The veggie club was very fresh. My daughter LOVED her mushroom burger and said it was the best ever. The side of grilled potatoes were seasoned to perfection and had a little sweetness. Maybe a pinch of sugar is the secret ingredient? The iced lavender latte was special. We'll come back happily.

Food was excellent & homemade sauces & dressings. Biscuits ginormous & homemade also-this was a half order too! Service was great too. All the foliage around the outdoor seating was very pretty & inviting. Herb gardens too that I'm sure the chef uses! Cute town - if passing through support this local business.

The #1 with chicken sausage, French toast and eggs, and ham & eggs.

Before leaving for Reno, we stopped at Patti's Thunder Cafe for breakfast. I had the #1 (scrambled eggs, potatoes and wheat toast) with chicken sausage. Needless to say, the meal was delicious, and the portions were so big that I didn't partake of the toast. The service was excellent, and the ambience was cozy. We agreed that Patti's Thunder Cafe is our go-to place for breakfast in Quincy!

The best place in Quincy to eat. The worst thing about the place is it is not open for dinners. Great job Patty!!!

Great standard American breakfast. Honestly can't go wrong with any breakfast entree. Every time I'm in the area this is where we go!

I told them I was taking it home so I'd have 20 min drive & would love a hot mocha now while I wait and shake for desert. I got a taco salad and fried zucchini with a shake- and talk about not worth it.... The shake came out first which wasn't a huge concern until 25 minutes later when I'm still standing there with no mocha, no salad and a very melted shake. They finally gave me the salad after 45 minutes and when I asked for money back for mocha they just made one quick (and lacking the extra shots of espresso I paid for). I came home and was CHARGED $14 + $5 for meat For a salad with 2tbsp of toppings, not even a tomato. There was a scoop of corn with sour cream and 3 tiny pieces of chicken. I was so angry I almost went back. The zucchini was greasy and burned. Shake I put in the freezer and ate when it came a thick and there was about .5 cup left (I had to also scrape the whip off since when I said no whip they again just didn't do it right). Again, wish I could say something nice about it besides it's a pretty lawn, however, this was a huge waste of $50 and I'll never return.

We left satisfied and happy to plan a return visit very soon. The food we had, crab cakes, clam chowder, chicken marsala, beef stroganoff and berry cobbler were all absolutely delicious! The espresso martini I had was unmatched. The staff, servers, chefs & owners were all friendly and welcoming. We look forward to returning often to one of our new favorite restaurants. A beautiful historic building from 1876 with all the rustic charm you'd expect , original hardwood floors , beautiful wood beams and a cozy little bar right when you walk in . The staff was super friendly, great customer service and hospitality, squeezed us in without a reservation! My wife and I enjoyed the Chicken Marsala and Beef Stroganoff each served with mashed potatoes and mixed veg. Both meals were cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce that should accompany each dish . 10/10 for me on both dishes, it would be hard to pick a favorite but I'd have to order the stroganoff again on my next visit ..... too good!! Both meals came with a delicious side salad - blue cheese dressing was house made and yummy! Fresh bread, two different kinds , both were spot on . Iron Door hit a home run with every single portion of our meal and the rustic country charm of this hidden gem was the icing on the cake!!! I almost don't want to share my secret........ but if you are visiting Graeagle, pass on all the dining options in Blairsden and Graeagle and head up the mountain to little ol Johnsville for a meal that is sure to satisfy! If you want to impress your friends the super cool hidden gem that only the locals know about, The Iron Door is THE place to go. Cheers!!

I've only been here a few times since I now live out of town... but every time I visit, I appreciate the interior - I really like the look! We started with spinach / artichoke dip as an appetizer... thumbs up all around the table on that one. There are actually several appetizers on the menu that look good - it's always tough for me to choose - but if you just wanted to drop by for a happy hour nibble, I'd say most people would be covered. It'd be fair to say that apps are one of their strengths. I had a caesar salad, and it was good! Pretty standard caesar, but I'm amazed that many restaurants manage to screw it up by drowning it in dressing or whatever. None of the common mistakes here - nice fresh, crisp lettuce... good dressing and imo the right amount - not too heavy, not too light. Just right. One of my friends had the Chicken Parm and the other had Shrimp Scampi - both reported goodness! The dishes looked great, but I behaved this time and kept my fork to myself. I had the salmon - one of my "go to" dishes - and it was good as well. Yes... we had dessert! There were several good options, but we decided to share the cookie "mess". Good balance with all ingredients... and for something described as a "mess," it was plated quite well! Definitely high on my list of possibilities when I'm in the area!
