I love this little cafe! This is my favorite restaurant to go get breakfast and brunch at on the weekends. It is busy, but never too busy, we always get a table. I gave it a 4 star because last time we ate there it took an hour to get our food out (and many other customers who came after us got their food). I think our waitress was having a bad day because she wasn't friendly, but the food is always great. Once I spoke to Remi (our favorite waitress) she hurried and got the food for us. Patty Anns Cafe is warm, friendly, and the food was great. I had the BLT with Potato Cheese soup. The soup and sandwich are amazing. The soup is homemade and definitely worth making the effort to get there. The sandwich is made of homemade bread, local bacon, and produce. There is no doubt this is a local's hot spot. read more

Just about every time we patronize Patty Ann's Café someone orders at least one pancake. This has been an ongoing activity for several years now and it has become a point of discussion at the dinner table regarding not only the size of the pancakes but who always gets the largest one. Seem one particular individual always gets the largest but I digress. Not only does the size of the pancake vary but also the size of the plate on which the pancake arrives. Sometimes, thinking we might get a larger pancake, we order it on the "big boy" plate. Regardless of the size, the pancakes are always very good, light, and fluffy, with a big dollop of butter nestled in the center accompanied with lots of syrup. Now, after the above discourse, we arrive at the issue regarding this review which is, if you can't already discern, size verse SIZE! Therefore, I think that if we could by SIZEING all the pancakes, no one would get their feelings hurt and enjoy the wonderful meals served at this special little restaurant. read more

Have eaten here twice in the past few weeks & was awful. Omelet tasted like it came from a box. No cheese inside & toast was basted with what tasted like cooking oil. Too bad this area could use a decent cafe. Hard to understand a rating above one star!!! We will not waste our money trying again!! read more

Great food, friendly staff, very homey. We've been several times and never feel rushed, we're never hurried. The food is always really good -- breakfast burrito with green chile -- biscuits with sausage gravy -- french toast - all excellent. The wait staff is busy, but they take great care of us every time. Here is what you are gunna get. The classic American breakfast. If I had foreign friends visiting the states and I wanted to show them what a quintessential state side breakfast was, I would bring them here. Perfect sunny side up and over easy eggs. Delish hash browns and pancakes and the biscuits are of course home made. The gravy wasn't my favorite. But it wouldn't keep me from ordering it again. Best Breakfast in Elbert County. I am not a fan of their lunch, just too greasy and friend for me. I am here most Wednesday mornings, the only improvement I can see is a little less radio playing. read more

We love Patty Ann's! The food is always tasty and fresh and the service is very good. I've tried the omelets, bacon and eggs combos, and breakfast burritos. I haven't been disappointed yet. Their coffee is also very good and they keep your cup filled. If you want a down-home feel to your eating experience, Patty Ann's has it is spades. It's not elegant or upscale by any stretch of the imagination, just good vittles in a friendly atmosphere. Remember to bring a check or enough cash as they don't accept credit cards. I guess this restaurant deserves at least 1 star...who am I kidding, this restaurant shouldn't even be called a restaurant. More like a disastrous health decision. When I went here the food was horrible, the eggs were runny, pancakes were undercooked and sloppy in the middle. You'd think they could at least get the coffee right but it tasted watered down! What are they doing? Trying to save money? Now, about the staff, they make a sloppy appearance, one lady had mud on her tattered jeans. Not to mention the decor of the place was distasteful even for a country place. The staff was very rude and snotty acting to many of the customers including myself, grumbling rude remarks as they went from table from table. Hopefully this place will go out of business soon, it certainly doesn't deserve to be on the map. There were flys buzzing around all over which was very disheartening. Needless to say, I will not be visiting this restaurant ever again. Did I leave a tip? Yes, I did, because that's what you do when you eat somewhere, but it wasn't deserved. read more

Yuck! This is not an American Cafe for one. It is clearly run by a Mexican. Look at the menu! You can eat here if you want to gamble with your health. This place does not have a dishwasher! The owner has everything washed by hand in bleach! You can smell it coming into the back door. Doesn't do much for the appetite. I feel for the person they make do this job. Dirty, unprofessional waitresses. They only take cash. Flies buzzing everywhere in cold weather no less. Nasty, nasty place. I don't know why Kiowa can't get better restaurants. They think because it's rural the standards should be less, and customers will just take it since they are one of only two places to eat. The food is good and the lunch menu has many non-greasy choices. The one waitress (sorry I can't remember her name) who is delightful but heaven help you if you are a stranger who encounters blonde waitress named Jody. She would not wait on us or even give us menus. This is a very small place so after 15 minutes we walked out. After several visits Jody has convinced us not to come back. Shame on her! read more

My friends and I were there on a spur-of the moment decision since there aren't very many choices in Elbert co. We were short on time, so I just ordered iced tea and my friends ordered cinnamon rolls. When they got their rolls, they were flat as pancakes like someone forgot to add the yeast to the dough! One of my friends said that the butter must of come into contact with the onions and it tasted bad. I decided to get a side of bacon figuring it wouldn't take long to get. Wrong, I waited a while and when I did get it, it was almost burned. Then what really irritated me was the fact they overcharged for my iced tea-$2.25 for a glass and my side of bacon $4.50!!! I could go buy a whole package of bacon and a box of tea for that much! Then you can't even use debit/credit. Maybe they would get more customers if they decided to offer this convenience. I guess we were there on an off day, thanks but no thanks. read more
