First time eating at Courtyard Social, but I've had takeout from here a few times since living in Castle Rock. I took my 14 yo for an early dinner on a Thursday afternoon and after finding a somewhat close parking spot, found the patio of Courtyard Social already fairly packed. We were seated at a table towards the back and we ordered a Coke and a beer. The server asked us if we were interested in the Happy Hour menu (available M-F, till 5:30) and we jumped all over that. $6 sliders, $15 for a pound of smoked hot wings, and $2 off m draft beer. Great deal!!! The wings were fantastic and I will definitely be back for them! The hot sauce was just right, and although a few of the drums were a little dry - overall the wings hit the spot. The sliders were good (not as tasty as the wings), and I might have to try their fried chicken sliders (Nashville hot) next time. Service was good and everyone was welcoming and friendly. I'm not sure why I didn't try this spot sooner, so don't make my mistake and get yourself down to Courtyard Social! read more

Wonderful service. Prompt and very nice people. The food was mediocre at best. I do not know how this place gets good reviews. The Caesar salad was one of the worst I've had. I think the person making it was just throwing ingredients together. The spinach and cheese dip was OK, but I've had much better. read more

They have tons of TVs for viewing, which was great. The Staff was friendly, and attentive. The vanilla porter on the menu was replaced with a graham cracker porter, which they brought me a sample of to try. I pivoted to a gluten free beer after trying that. I'm a sucker for Sunday happy hour and this is one of my go-to's for the weekdays as well due to the variety and quality of options. It isn't just in the bar area which is nice. I've attached a lot of pictures of happy hour (as of August 2026). There was a tiny bone in one of the sliders and they comped us with a taco which was nice. read more

Nice casual restaurant with very good service. Out waitress Payton was very attentive and nice. We ordered the scallops for appetizers and I had the ahi tuna for the main dish. The scallops had a good taste but kinda smelled fishy but the sauces were good. My ahi tuna was well prepared with a sweeter sauce on the top. It came with rice and bok choy vegetables which were a nice complement. I also tasted my friends salmon with risotto. I actually liked her dish better. Prices were reasonable. Overall a good restaurant to have decent food and good conversation with ur peeps. read more

My family and I met here for a long-anticipated gathering of eight, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the menu offers a great variety for different tastes. However, I ordered the Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich and was disappointed. It was heavily drenched in a sweet barbecue sauce and topped with very wet coleslaw, which made the entire sandwich soggy. At this price point and caliber, I would expect something like a spicy fried chicken sandwich to maintain that crisp texture. Service could have been slightly warmer. Despite living in Castle rock for six years, this was our first time! We came for brunch on the Sunday and it was very good. My wife had the chicken skillet and I had the burrito. Everything was packed with flavor, but it could use more green chili, so when you order, make sure to ask for extra green chili. The crowd does seem to be older, which is nice and the inside is very open and clean. It is a casual spot so it's good for pretty much everybody. Met coworkers her for a celebration lunch. Parking was decently easy to find as it was during the week and during the day. There's a small parking lot right next to Courtyard Social - def try there first. Courtyard Social is in downtown Castle Rock, is locally owned and near lots of cute places. We visited in December, so lots of festivities and holiday decorations as well. Loved the vibe. The food was delicious and no one at our table left disappointed. I ordered the Poke Nachos (ahi tuna FTW) and would happily order again. The mac and cheese also looked bomb! Our server was fabulous and brought us a yummy desert to join us in celebrating. This is currently my favorite stop in Castle Rock. The menu changes semi-frequently but I've never had a dish I didn't love. The bolognese was my favorite and I'm really hoping they bring it back because I'm still thinking about it & the only other pasta I dream about was from my trip to Florence. Anyway, I digress... last time I was in, I had a salmon dish that came in a close second. The service was warm and welcoming as was the atmosphere. I love the little booths up top, it gives a great view of the restaurant and the seating is comfortable. I'm not sure if I just get lucky but parking is always super easy. The last several times I've been in. I parked right on the street out front, but there is a lot straight across from the fountain and one across the street the other direction. Downtown Castle Rock is much less stressful than downtown anywhere. read more

Park on side streets or else if you can find in shared parking lot next to it Server was very friendly I got the prime rib dip with fries. I thought the prime rib was small, meh, and the sauce was weird. It wasn't typical Au Jus sauce; it was like a creamy brown sauce that I wasn't a fan of. Nice room. We met friends halfway between our houses, and I picked this spot based on reviews. Our friends had been here, and unfortunately were too polite to suggest another spot ahead of time. I don't understand why Courtyard Social gets such high reviews. Three out of four of us thought the food was mediocre. Fries came out cold, mashed potatoes were sub-par, chicken was somewhat dry... The service was friendly, but also slow and indifferent - no one checked on us after food came out. We won't be back. read more

Me and The Hubs had lunch on the patio here one warm, sunny day back in March. It was so pleasant to sit outside in (what was technically) winter and we had a nice time. The Hubs ordered one of their burgers with fries (don't remember which one). I had the Seared Ahi Tuna (Ahi tuna filet served with sticky rice, roasted miso bok choy, wonton chips, wasabi creme, and finished with a sweet ginger glaze and green onion). Everything was tasty, but the serving sizes seemed a bit on the skimpy side. Hubs' burger looked a bit smaller than what we usually see elsewhere (he said it was good, tho). The serving of bok choy with my entree was one very small half of a baby bok choy (it seemed more like a garnish than a side). Our server was very friendly and took good care of us. Their patio is fairly large and is exposed to all directions except north so it will get sun all day but they have many umbrellas out there. Their umbrellas seem to filter the sun rather than block it. Even though I didn't have the sun directly on me, I could feel the heat almost as if it was. If you're a fan of heat - great, if not take note. Anyway, I would eat here again when I'm in the area. read more

I went in late one evening a week or two ago not knowing what time they stopped serving food and even though it was close they were extremely good about making sure I ordered what I wanted and didn't rush me at all. My mom loved her Philly cheesesteak, and my husband devoured his burger, saying it was very flavorful and juicy. My salad, however, was less than impressive. I have two forms of lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, so I'm always careful when eating out, due to soy and seed oils that can cause a flare within an hour of leaving. Our young server seemed less friendly, following the dietary restrictions given when taking our order. I asked for dressing to be put on the side of my salad bowl, so I could still sample some, and was never provided a dressing of any sort--only two bottles of oil and vinegar. I also asked if she could check with the chef for soy additives in the dressings, so I could know if they had any options safe to ingest on the menu. Those questions and concerns were never addressed again, upon her return to our table. I can't tell you how sad it is to feel unseen, when battling disabilities--and this was a prime example. So I ended up with a plate of crunchy Romaine lettuce, a cold hard boiled egg and not much else. The cucumbers provided were in spear format, which is awkward when one can't use a knife to cut vegetables without experiencing wrist pain from RA directly after the endeavor. Also, plates are pretty pricey for the portion received--my husband's burger was $20. This place has nice ambiance but the accommodating factor was noticeably absent. We stopped here on our to our destination- we got to sit in their patio section during their happy hour. We enjoyed their house wine which wasn't the best but at a great price! We then ordered salsa and chips for our app which wasn't our favorite, not much flavor. We shared the flatbread and swings which the flavor was a bit off. Overall, not our favorite food but we ordered from the happy hour section so did not get to try their actual menu. The space is great and we did not have to wait! The waiter was quick with our order! Came here for a date, but was unfortunately stood up. I seem not to select the best women on the apps. However, I am glad I came here. The restaurant was a lot nicest than expected. The wait staff across the bar was very accommodating and got me to try some new Colorado beers I've never had. I ended up staying to watch the game and enjoy a "me" dinner. Of course I ordered the prime rib steak and it was just what I needed. Highly recommend this place, not to get stood up at but if you do you will be well taken care of. read more

First time customer. Nice to have indoor and outdoor seating options. We sat outside and the beautiful flowers complemented the cute striped umbrellas and tables. I was able to park for 2 hours free in the lot across the street. Annabelle was the perfect server, friendly and always stopped by our table at the perfect time to check up on us. I had the El Dorado beverage. Good but I think I'll try the Cowboy Margarita next time. For lunch I had the Sausage & Burrata Flatbread. My wife and I had dinner with two friends at the Courtyard Social in Castle Rock. The table service there was good. They do not serve bread with their dinners, so I ordered the Focaccia Bread Board appetizer ($9) which the menu said was a "Loaf of Focaccia bread." What we got was four skinny pieces of Focaccia, not a loaf. That equals $2.25 per little slice of bread. Definietly not worth it. My wife ordered Fish and Chips ($24), and I had the Scallop Salad ($28). My three not very large scallops were well prepared, and the salad was tasty. My wife's fish pieces were over fried and very dark. Neither of us ordered an alcoholic drink. I had iced tea, and we split a dessert. Our bill with tip was right at $98. We will not be going back to eat at the Courtyard Social. read more

The only negative part of my experience was the hostess with the long blonde hair. She was cold, didn't smile, unwelcoming, and seemed completely uninterested in customer service. When I arrived alone with my small service dog in a carrier, she immediately tried to seat me at the bar. I politely asked for a booth instead, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty at around 1pm from the inside, but she ignored my request and placed me at a table in the middle of the dining room. When I asked about an available booth, she claimed she couldn't seat a single guest there. Minutes later, a second brunette hostess in a green jersey top was happy to move me and told me that wasn't a rule at all. The contradiction made the first hostess appear either poorly trained or simply unwilling to accommodate a paying customer. What made it stand out even more was that every other employee was exceptional. The second hostess was warm and helpful, my young male server was attentive and friendly, and the chicken pot pie dish was good enough but it was NOT hearty, creamy filling that fills the dish. For the price not worth it. You're not getting the best taste and def not the best value here. they could have more filling on the inside. The rest of the staff displayed the hospitality you'd expect from a quality restaurant. A hostess is the first impression of an establishment, and unfortunately this one came across as rude, dismissive, and lacking the basic warmth and professionalism required for the role.
