I had a bit of a hard time finding the place. So when you go, you need to turn in where it says Somis Ranch Apartments. It looks like Camarillo City Hall is right there also. The berry stand is "behind" Crossroads Shopping Center on the corner of Somis and Las Posas. The stand is set back behind the strawberry field, so it is not right on Somis Rd. Hope that helps! It's located in the beautiful city of Moorpark. Somewhat situated in a semi residential street. There's no parking lot, just street parking. We came around 10 am and there was already quite a bit of people there. There's a sign at the front that says to pick at your own risk. The regular customers came prepared with big buckets or wagons and pruners. They have medium sized white buckets you can borrow at the entrance to collect your persimmons. Then you make your way up the hill, which is pretty steep. There are lots of fully ripened persimmons on the trees of varying sizes. They had another section further up that was still cordoned off, perhaps not yet ripe. They have two different varieties of persimmon trees throughout the farm. We had a blast picking persimmons for a good hour. The persimmons are sweet and at $1.50 a pound definitely worth it! We got about 25 pounds which will last us quite a while. I'd definitely come back again next year prepared. *** I wouldn't recommend it for elderly with difficulty walking since the hill has some steep areas and is not level. Also beware with toddlers walking around by the trees as there are several small branches sticking out that are perfectly eye level. Today there was a woman that had a nasty fall while picking. Paramedics had to come and take her to get medical assistance.

Everyone can get a big blue bucket and fill it with the sweetest, plumpest blueberries! If the kids don't want to put their blueberries together, the employees just look and guesstimate half/ third etc if a bucket. It is $18 a bucket but that is SO MUCH! 3 of us picked about a half a bucket in 45 minutes so it was about $9. There are about 60 long rows to pick, chairs or benches at the end of each row and restrooms if needed. We have come with 3-15 year olds and always have a really nice time. Before you come make sure their blueberries are in season, wear shoes that can be a bit dirty and bring water bottles. Have fun! They are all so nice and helpful! Open until 4....ish.

I wrote them about their radishes and never got a reply. Last week I decided to try them again and once again I found wet mud all through them. Do they taste better because I picked them myself? I don't know! Yes? Regardless, they are delicious. The staff here is always so friendly and they are so welcoming to large groups. This is a great place to run the kids around and there are plenty of activities you can do for free or a small cost, like animal feeding, rides etc. My son loves all the playgrounds! Definitely recommend Underwood if you are looking for a party venue! The kids love it and it's a beautiful space!
