Fast forward, I received another bill so I call and suddenly Amber's information is incorrect to the tune of over $400. Never again will I use them. Never will I recommend them.

Raise your hand if you're an Adult and you have a fear of the dentist? *Slowly raises hand* I hate…read morethe dentist and have had a healthy fear of going to the dentist ever since I was a child. The staff at VFD has been so patient with me through the years and has partnered with me to achieve the smile of my dreams! They answer all my questions and help to provide an accurate quote for any out of pocket expenses I may have. So what's it like going to the dentist during a pandemic? Surprisingly it's pretty normal, going to the dentist during COVID was a major concern for me. I'm happy to report VFD is doing an amazing job keeping everyone healthy and safe. They have limited seating in the waiting area, mask are required. Both the dentist and hygienist wear both a mask and a face shield and there is hand sanitizer everywhere! Long story short if there was a cleanliness award during the pandemic VFD would easily win the award!

Took my grand daughter there to have two temporary teeth put in, earlier in the day she had the two…read morebad teeth extracted by an oral surgeon! He prepared the two areas for the temporary teeth, Dr Shay argued with us for a minimum of 20 minutes not wanting to do this, which by the way was the purpose of the visit as well as to be fitted for a bridge. She told us that she would have to file a bit off her teeth to put crowns on which we assumed was normal!!! One hour and fifteen minutes later she leaves the room, with my grand daughter bleeding out of both side of her mouth not to return until I insisted a nurse get her. So here's the kicker when we looked at what she had been doing for so long she had taken four adult size teeth and filed them down to the size of a toddlers! Needless to say this infuriated me, it wasn't pleasant, she tried to say that she wasn't finished and continues to show us a model of what her teeth should look like not listening to our concerns at all only saying she wasn't finished , we informed her that she was most certainly finished! They shuffled us into their break room to continue to tell us they weren't finished.... They were!!! We told them to give the $3900 we had to pay them in cash back, in the meantime another of their fantastic dentist was laughing which definitely sent her and I over the edge, Dr Lee came in and once again tried to talk her into getting back into the chair, not a chance! We got a referral back to the oral surgeon to now have the four teeth they had destroyed extracted! The surgeon was in shock at what they had done to her mouth! She had those pulled today...It gets better over the weekend her gums became so inflamed she had to go to the ER, once there the Drs once again were in shock at the condition of her mouth, and at the fact that the dentist did not put her in antibiotics, or pain meds, promptly do exactly that! Now for myself I've recently had knee replacement surgery, explaining to the front desk that I cannot do a deep cleaning for atleast six months due to the knee replacement and that I just wanted a regular cleaning which they promptly replied no because they want to do a deep cleaning, I gave them my surgeons name and number and told them to call him, needless to say he told them absolutely no way! So needless to say to say this is the worst practice in the state, they do what they want and not what you want. Once my grand daughter's mouth heals and we now get her a partial instead of a bride we intend on pursuing this further! Next step is lodging a complaint with the Star Board of Dentistry! Going to wait until she's finished for the next step

Posting this to maybe keep someone else from the horror I went through with Seven Pines Dental. I…read morecalled them to make appointment for x-rays and cleaning. Ask the cost and was told $286.00 with 6% discount if paid by check. = $269.00. Went to appointment and a whole lot of X-rays were done. I inquired why so many and was told "it will be OK". Ask about cleaning and was told Britney would be coming in to explain that to me. Then another person came in and did exam on teeth and gums. This took all of 10 minutes. Ask again when I was going to get my teeth cleaned (as this point I had been there quite awhile) and was told Britney will be in to talk to me. Britney finally came in and starting explaining a Periodontal Cleaning. Told her I did not want to do the Periodontal cleaning just a regular teeth cleaning. At this time I believe I had been there over an hour and still no cleaning. She showed me quotes for a Periodontal Cleaning. They were way out of my budget and told her I could not do that at this time and I just wanted my teeth cleaned. She then said she would have to refused to clean my teeth because I would not do the Periodontal cleaning. I told her if was my decision on if I wanted to do that procedure and she replied "she could get fired for cleaning my teeth". I don't think I believe this at all. I'm a senior citizen and have never had a dentist refuse to clean my teeth. Being a little shocked by all this I went up front to check out and was told I owed $263.00. Still in shock for not getting my teeth cleaned I wrote them a check. Going home, I realized that since I didn't get a cleaning I should not be paying the entire amount they quoted for X-rays and cleaning. Called the office and was told my check covered $169 for X-rays and $117 for the 10 minute exam. This WAS NOT what I was told when I made my appointment. I have never in my life paid $169 for x-rays only. She emailed me a quote on the Periodontal Cleaning - a little over $600 with no explanation on what it covered or how it worked. I assumed it covered the entire cleaning. It was out of my budget but was thinking of ways I could do this. I wrote back and ask if this was a one time fee - imagine by shock when she informed me this quote was only for ONE SIDE of my mouth and I would pay the same amount for the other side. PLUS I would have to come back every 3 months for this cleaning until teeth and gums were healed. That would be $1200 every 3 months until they were satisfied that my teeth were healed. Please note that no where on the quote was this explained. The dental procedure should have been explained at the time I was making the appointment NOT AFTER the appointment was over. I know I was ripped off big time with their dishonesty. Just be warned they are not honest people. Follow-up - I found a new dentist who did his own cleaning and he told me he only saw a little periodontal disease in the back two teeth on my upper teeth. He gave me a plan for treatment that way less than Seven Pines Dental.
