I came in for a professional, sanitary and simple (no gel) pedicure and this is exactly what I received. I was a past customer of Utopia Nail Salon on Artesia (in the Albertson's shopping center) and could not see myself going back. I'll post a review about this shop. I didn't have an appointment and Helen was working on a customer. She was honest in letting me know that it would be a 30 minute wait. She continued working on her customer without rushing which is something that you don't see in these nail shops anymore. Once she started working on me, she was not trying to upsell me on additional services. She was so very kind and I felt right at home. This is the type of nail shop I've been looking for! If you are looking for a nail salon that does professional work, does not have a ton of people sitting around, clean and relaxing environment, then this is the place. I had such an amazing experience at Elegant Nails today! From the very beginning, Helen was incredibly sweet over the phone and was able to fit me in for a gel pedicure at 5:30 on a Sunday--which is almost unheard of since most places in the area close by 5. When I arrived, I was helped right away. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the level of attention really stood out. Kim did my pedicure, and I highly recommend her. She was very meticulous and gentle--something I truly appreciate since I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to nail care. She took her time, carefully removed all the dry skin, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I got the deluxe pedicure, which took about an hour and a half. It was so relaxing, and my feet feel incredibly smooth and refreshed. The pedicure was $50 and included the scrub, callus treatment, mask, and massage. I added gel polish for an additional $10--definitely worth it. I'll definitely be coming back, next time for a full nail set! read more

Very nice couple that does nails and lady on eyebrows. The give you bottle water too :) I came in for a Deluxe pedi & regular mani. The deluxe pedi was average price and the lady did a good job except she cut both of my ankles while using the "dead skin scrapper". She also did not remove all of my dead skin but did get most of it. She also did my mani which she drilled my nails I guess so the gel polish would hold but I don't really think natural nails should be drilled. She cut way to deep in my cuticles and 4/5 were sore afterwords for about 2 days and my cuticles are peeling. The man did the gel polish on the hands and took his time very nicely but after 3 days my polished has chipped in 2 nails. I would return but ask her to not cut so deep into my cuticles and no drilling for me personally. read more
