This is not a one-time mistake, it's repeated unauthorized billing. I have full screenshots of the cancellation message and the ongoing charge attempts. Be very careful giving this place your payment information. Monitor your account closely and keep documentation of everything. I've already blocked them through my bank and am in the process of reporting this.

The intro session was good and the two boys were enthusiastic but other sports got in the way of immediately following up. Four weeks later their summer schedule finally opened up and we went to book using the three sessions each boy had. Turns out that's a problem If you buy any sessions they come with a very very short period before they expire. But if the coach you're supposed to be using isn't available when your kid is- well tough luck. Every week we tried to see if our schedule aligned with Chuck's. For the weeks that we could do the sessions - It didn't - and by the time our schedule and his finally aligned the session block we booked expired. Add in the fact that the company website is a pain to use - and you can see why I'm disappointed.

What really drew me in was the floor area - the class alternates between the bags and strength training so I felt like I was getting a well designed, comprehensive workout. The studio is brand new and super clean, I feel fortunate to be a founding member! In addition to Courtney and Mitch, Brian and Manny are awesome! Manny has been teaching members only clinics (free!) the past two Sundays and I've really enjoyed being challenged and learning from a professional in a small group setting! I also met Julia and Rumble's resident pup, Theo today. Everyone has been so kind, helpful and are truly starting to make it feel like a community. Rumble is located on the Peninsula on Newport Blvd near the pier. There is both street parking (which you have to pay for) and garage parking (which Rumble validates). They sell everything you need - gloves, wraps, workout attire and more. They offer complimentary towels, filtered water and lockers. You can also rent gloves for $3 a session. Booking classes is simple on the app, and you have the opportunity to choose your bag and bench. The studio is still new so classes aren't too full yet, but I feel like it's going to be picking up soon. They still have a ton of free intros going on and a bunch of specials for newcomers. I have been a hobbyist of various martial arts for years. Since day 1, the environment at Rounders was a perfect fit. The people are friendly and helpful. The hours and the selection of martial arts classes are excellent. Every last coach knows their stuff, and they teach both kids and adults classes with professionalism and care. I am also always grateful that the black belts, pro fighters, and other experienced trainees are so helpful during class. Not only do you have knowledgable coaches, but your peers support you here too. I have seen multiple martial arts gyms over the years, especially in Orange County, and while all have nice things to say about them, Rounders just hits every single mark. It's a nice and spacious facility with a great setup, but the people are what make it stand out. My only complaint is that I wish I had started here sooner.

Bumped into Coach Bryce at a USKO sparring competition a while back where my boy was competing…read more Bryce invited my son and I to visit for some Saturday training and sparring. We took him up on the offer. The experience was great! My boy worked through a fighter's circuit: skipping rope, guided shadowboxing, heavy bag work, pads with Bryce, and partner drills followed by sparring. All the coaches and members are super welcoming. Very chill, family vibe, conducive to learning. No ego. Good times. Legit, highly technical, bad a$$ Muay Thai. My son also has history with one of the other Rising Sons coaches, Coach Yannick (a Peruvian Muay Thai champion), from a previous gym where he trained for a little bit (pre-Covid), so it was rad to re-connect. They have an active squad of killers who are wrecking shop on the local & National scenes. They're also investing in the future by growing a crop of lil' savages who my boy was able to get solid sparring rounds with. Both Bryce and Yannick are really patient, encouraging and positive with the kids. You can tell they understand how to bring them up slowly & build the toughness organically. We've been back a few times on Saturdays, and if we lived closer, would totally have my kid join forces with the Rising Sons crew. Unfortunately we're all the way out in the 626 and it would be too tough to make that trek during the week. That said, if you're anywhere near the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa/Irvine area and you or your kids need/want to get in shape, train to fight, and meet cool people with folks who really know their stuff, Rising Sons Thai Boxing is the place to be. One of our e-bikes had low battery charge and even though someone was able to bike out to where we were to delivery another battery, the replacement was also low and wouldn't be enough for the time we rented. We also lost time waiting for the other battery. However, kudos to the staff and owner because they made it right for us when we returned the bikes. Spot has good staff and a great location.
