Pizza was soooo good... I'm actually mad at myself for not taking pics I ordered a personal pizza along with mozzarella sticks and cheese fries, and wow... everything hit. The pizza was fresh, cheesy, and just the right size when you want something satisfying without overdoing it. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly crispy, and the cheese fries? Husband comes here weekly, and he comes more often when he wants pizza. This is his favorite pizza restaurant, and it's mine too! I especially enjoy coming here before or after a show at Ruth Eckerd Hall. It's so close & the food and service are excellent. Tonight we're here before the Jeff Foxworthy Show at REH. IT IS PACKED! I ordered a 10" pizza with cheese and sausage and an Italian beef with sweet and hot peppers. WOW, if I close my eyes I could be in Chicago at my favorite pizza joint. Hearty portion of beef thinly sliced in a fresh sandwich roll. Pizza had all the right things going for it. Good amount of cheese and there was sausage for every bite. It's a casual family place. Everybody was super nice and friendly and welcoming -- and the XL Sausage & Pepperoni thin crust Chicago Pizza was dynamite! First time I've been to Paul's Chicago Pizza and I was very impressed!!! This is an order at counter restaurant and they bring the food out to your table when ready. Entire restaurant is adorned with festive themed decor which looks great!! Food was brought out in good time and was perfect temperature. Ordered 2 pizzas, one was the 8" Buffalo chicken pizza and the second one was a 16" thin crust cheese pizza. Both pizzas were excellent!!! The thin crust was perfectly crispy and not over cooked!! Highly recommend trying this restaurant out!! They have a great variety of menu choices in addition to what we ordered. They have soft drinks as well as draught beer and more to drink. Decided to try Paul's Chicago pizza last week. Great environment, staff was spectacular, cozy with some TVs, but not too much. I ordered an Italian beef sandwich with hot peppers as well as a medium traditional, special, thin crust pizza. The beef sandwich was delicious. I did like the fact that it wasn't so humongous that I needed an entire roll of paper towels to eat it just a personal preference. We definitely eat again as far as the pizza goes. It was delicious. The sauce had a sweet taste to it that I really liked and the crust was between thin and cracker allowed me to wipe out 3/4 of a 12 inch pizza by myself. I could've kept eating it for days. I will say a little disappointed in the cheese did not taste freshly shredded. That day wasn't like your traditional Midwest pizza with heavy cheese, but overall the pizza was delicious nonetheless. We used to love this place, especially pre-Covid, when they were still offering their lunch buffet. As of late, the sausage on the sausage pizza tastes off to us, even though they claim that they didn't change its recipe in years. If they were to bring back the buffet and bring back the taste of the sausage that they used to have, it would easily be 5-stars again. read more

Fantastic Chicago Pizza. The crust was super thin and crispy all the way through. The Italian Beef was super tender beef, really fresh tasting mozzarella and the bread was bakery fresh and soft, yet held together well with every soaking of tasty au jus.
