While taking a break from Luna park, I order their Lobster roll ($26) and their chicken tenders and fries combo. The lobster roll was really fresh and delicious. I would've went back and ordered another one if it was not $26 that was how good it was. The chicken tenders and fries were pretty good for an amusement park restaurant. It was tasted freshly made. That is all I can ask for.

We wanted to have lunch and spotted this outside the amusement park. It's was very packed limited seating and we were eyeing the lobster roll. For $26 it better be good! Competing against others for seats. The lobster roll was very fresh and tasty but a bit pricey. The chicken tender was ok and so as the fries.

The drinks are strong. The shrimp was ok. Wasn't bad, but wasn't great. I'm just enjoying Coney Island as a tourist and this place caught my eye. Right on the boardwalk, it's not hard to miss. I wanted to try the corn dog, but I'm guessing I came too late. Even though the shrimp was just ok, I'm sure I'll still come back. My son finished off the rest of the shrimp from the plate and we headed down the boardwalk.

Cute spot for a drink or two. The food didn't look appealing to me but it's nice to sip a frozen strawberry margarita and a "Bramble On" and enjoy the ocean.

Fried clams ($10ish) and Watermelon margarita ($18ish)- very tasty clams and marg with no buzz... :-(

I don't understand the subways. Running the streets with 2 teens and a small child had my nerves on level TEN. We ended up at Coney Island and I was in need of an adult beverage and a snack while the kiddos frolicked in the sand. Like a couple of the others yelpers said, I didn't expect much from this stand...didn't look like much. The fried clams and watermelon Margarita grabbed my attention on that hot summer day. The clams were, shockingly very tasty! No overly thick batter, not chewy, not greasy! Very light! That tarter sauce tasted homemade with fresh dill and pickle chunks! The drink tasted delicious and refreshing but unfortunately, it was a little on the weak side. I get it, they don't intend for one to get "turnt up " but $18 for a yummy slushee in a plastic cup seemed a bit steep...we are not longer in Dallas...(although Dallas is slowing turning into NYC) . I digress, It definitely hit the spot in my time of need. When I'm in the area again, you'll see me at Paul's Daughter!

Good affordable seafood right in front of the beach, we had the lobster roll, fried shrimp, calamari, clams strips with fries, corndog and for beverages beer and the frozen strawberry margarita. Everything was great specially the lobster roll and shrimp, the calamari were not as soft and lacked flavor and the clam strips that felt like fried flavored flour with no filling. I wouldn't order them again. Coney Island is not famous for its high quality food and Nathan's is probably the most popular option but since I was looking for something different I found this place online and the overall experience was good, is good to have alternatives rather than average pizza slice and hotdogs. They have seating area outside which most restaurants lack in the boardwalk and that's a plus. Their menu also includes non seafood items for picky palates. Like hamburger and chicken tenders. I would definitely come back and would recommend, service was nice and fast.

Lobster roll was surprisingly good, very fresh lobster!! Chill, cute, dive bar beach vibes. Kind service even though you order at the front. I would skip the frozen marg, it was small and watery. Otherwise good. $26 Lobster roll, $12 Frozen Marg

TLDR: Essential Coney Island food! Come for the raw cherry stone clams. Vibe: 4/5. Situated right on the Coney Island boardwalk, Paul's Daughter is a ginormous walk up food stand serving up seafood and beach food favorites. Even though this is a predominately walk up style restaurant, they do offer a few tables and chairs for patrons to sit and enjoy their food. The counter layout is pretty straight forward, with several registers where you can order the menu. With that being said, there is only 1 place on the far right where you can order the raw clams (near the shucking station). Service: 4/5. The staff at Paul's was friendly, quick and efficient during our 4th July visit. We were able to belly up to the raw bar counter and order the entire menu, with our food coming out shortly after. At peak hours, lines can get a little hectic with not always the best sense of organization, but that can be said with any walk up restaurant on the boardwalk. Food: 5/5. Serving up all of your favorite beach foods, Paul's Daughter goes a great job in execution. On our lunch visit, we ordered a few corn dogs, clam strips, fries, calamari and the the raw cherry stone clams on the half shell. As to be expected, the fried foods were tasty and enjoyed by all. Perfectly friend and with generous portions. The highlight of the meal were the raw cherry stone clams. Shucked fresh to order, the clams were ginormous in size and offered a great eating experience. The clams were firm and steak like in texture but with a sweet and salty taste that some may say is more palatable than raw oysters. At $19 a dozen, not a terrible value when considering the touristy location. Overall, if you find yourself craving some quick seafood bites on the boardwalk, you can't go wrong with Paul's!

Rude bartenders and tiny drinks. I ordered a $14 paloma and this is what I got. Rip off. Add more mixer if you need to.

    Lobster roll, calamari, cherrystone clams
    Sabrina Y.

I was expecting this place to be pretty average based on the reviews, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit! We ordered a dozen cherrystone clams, the lobster roll, and the calamari. The lobster roll had great flavour, the calamari had nice spices in the batter, and the cherrystone clams were actually really great - much better than ones we've had previously in Manhattan for happy hour at a place known for them. There are some nice benches with umbrellas on the side, with workers wiping the tables in between every guest which was great. I'd definitely recommend if you're at Coney Island looking for a casual but good spot to eat for some seafood.

It wasn't the best quality frankfurter, but somehow it worked with my indiscriminate palette. Flash forward a century or so, and this is the only Gray's Papaya left in the city. Since I'm a survivor, I thought it only appropriate to take Jamie to the original flagship location and order what else but the Recession Special. Sure enough, they still offer it for $7.50. It was $1.95 when I was a child, but it's still a good deal consisting of 2 Hot Dogs (Photo 10) and a Medium Papaya Drink (Photo 9). The franks were the same as I recall, nothing special but if you add onions and pay an extra 75 cents for the chili, it just works. The papaya drink is not a fruit juice but a puree mixed with sugar and milk. It actually complements the dog in a guilty pleasure kind of way. There was a line but it moved fast.
