Took 1 week to get appointment to measure for new shower door. I told the girl I wanted it done as soon as possible. 2 guys came to measure, very nice guys but did not give quote, said someone will call me. Took 10 days for Sam I think to call me back with a quote. When I asked why it took so long to call me he got very angry that I would question him. Was not very pleasant at all & his price was high. I refuse to give business to a place that doesn't know treat customers with respect, & had a bad attitude. I recently moved to Long Beach & would have liked to do business with a local company. I have used Paul's twice now. Once to fix a window that was jammed & yesterday to replace a cracked pane of glass. The appointment was set about a week out with a timeframe of 9-11am. They arrived promptly at 9am. The entire repair was done from the outside in about 30 minutes. This was a replacement of a pane of glass on a double hung window (upper pane) on a California Bungalow. They did ask to come in the house to sweep up some glass fragments that fell inside. Prompt, quick repair, cleaned up, & that's that! Great service. Thanks Paul's! read more

This company was recommended to us by another glass and mirror company that doesn't work on repairs. We took our brand new 41 x 41 inch mirror, which cracked before we could even hang it, there for replacement. They fixed it in a day. It cost $142 with tax, but we loved the mirror so much we happily paid the price. The service was very satisfactory: nothing especially noteworthy other than the turnaround time. read more

Very pleased with my custom shower glass. My request for an estimate was handled efficiently. Both the date and the time for the estimate were earlier than originally scheduled which was welcomed. Pano came out to measure and provide me with information so I would be happy with my choice of glass. He was great to work with. The glass was ready in about two weeks as promise. Unfortunately, Pano was unable to come back to do the installation and there was a glitch. However, Korey remedied it very quickly. We have an *old* shower, and the shower door assembly had rotted through over time. The entrance is very narrow (19.5"!!!) from when people were just smaller I suppose. We'd temporarily installed a curtain, and realized quickly that we needed a permanent replacement (quickly picked up mold, smell, color). I called several bathroom glass installers, and the cheapest I was able to find at $650 was just slightly below the average. I left a message with Paul's Glass, they'd called me back, and since this was after the pricing above, and I was a bit let down by the price we were looking at shelling out, I scheduled a time for Sam to come by, almost resigned to this being an after-thought since the doors were just too expensive for us to afford. Sam came by with a quick write-up of the stall, and told me he'd get back to me on the price soon. Just a bit later in the week, I got a call from their office, and called back to speak with Sam. $420. Done. The installers came by a week later with the door made, and in 20 minutes the thing was installed, and it looks fantastic! Would highly recommend this place! read more

Walked into their location on a Thursday. Gave the gal at the front desk my measurements for a show door and glass wall i needed...said someone would call me to schedule an appt. I wait a week, then 2, then at 3 weeks I called them again. I made another appt for last Friday. Salesman calls to confirm appt then the day of the appt. the office calls and says he cant make it but reschedules me for Monday 1-4. So im home, off work, waiting...and surprise! Not worth your time to call them. Tried to speak to manager after they did a job for me - had to get very irritable with receptionist before he called me back. They came to my home for a minor fix on my shower door. The technician was there for maybe a minute or less and they charged me $225. I have a glass lid for a crock pot that had a very sharp chipped edge. I had left it in my car after taking it to a glass shop in my home town where I was told that they couldn't help me. I decided to stop by Robert's while visiting friends in the area. The gentleman who came forward to help shook his head and said something about molded glass. But he took it from me and returned two minutes later and handed it back. I thought that nothing could be done, but he corrected me and said it was fine. EXCELLENT SERVICE! A month ago, our bathroom glass window cracked and it was when the cold season just started. We called several window repair place to replace our double pane window and only Paul's Glass Co was able to do it for us around the area. When I called them they were very helpful, professional, and nice on the phone. I spoke to a guy (I forgot his name) and he told me he will have someone come over our house next day to examine the glass. A guy named "Sam" came, he was very straight and gave me a very good and reasonable price ($100 labor + $49 custom made glass)! He also explained that they have to fully replace the whole window because it's double pane. It was a very quick and clear discussion. They ordered our window glass since it's custom made for our bathroom, it took us 4 business days to have it delivered back to Paul's Glass Co. When the installment day came, they installed the window quick and neatly. It was a very fast transaction. I made a very huge mistake when the guy left, I touched the window glue when I'm not supposed to since it's still wet! LOL. I immediately called their office and "Dory" answered. She was very polite, I love her. She told me she was gonna call me back to check what they could do since the guy who did the window already took off. The guy came back immediately to retouch the whole window glue for no additional charge! They work with a sense of urgency. I am very satisfied and I recommend them so much! He never replied to my email only because I asked him to make some corrections of the inaccuracies in the proposal he sent me like the height of the glass, location of the holes for the clamps and the color of the clamps. I was at my business today and noticed the driver for this company making a left turn on 4th street from Redondo ave. When glass from his truck fell off into the intersection and broke. The driver kept going and I called the company to inform them of what had happened, was told the drivers would return in a few and pick up the glass.This approxitly at 1:30 pm. It is now 5:00 and the glass is still their in the intersection bikers have had flats or blow outs because of this, is what I noticed. I tried to get a quote from this company as I am doing some remodeling to my home. The men who came to measure were lovely. But the woman who handles the calls and appointments was unprofessional. We were willing to spend thousands of dollars on some new doors and the woman who called to talk about the measurements and quote refused to answer questions and provide clarity. Her tone from the very beginning was rude. When I asked for clarifying questions so that we can get an understanding on what needed to be done she pretty much refused to answer questions in an appropriate manner. Her tone was rude and offputting. I mentioned this to her and she hung up on me. Looks like we will take our business that we wanted to keep local to the Long Beach area, elsewhere. This pandemic has allowed a lot of people time to work on their homes. Lucky for them we have a lot of Long Beach local friends who will also not be using Paul's glass.
