    Christmas Shrimp Cocktail Platter!
    Sydney R.

Complaints about the price of the fish sold here should be immediately disregarded. If you want high quality product, you have to pay high quality dollar. And let me tell you, the quality of the fish here knocks it out of the park. I came in initially for salmon, but their shrimp... their shrimp deserves an award. It is so fresh that I could eat an entire shrimp cocktail platter by myself, but wait until you try their....STUFFED SHRIMP. What is this shrimp stuffed with you ask? CRAB STUFFING. *drops the mic* One more note - if you're hosting a party & want to impress your guests or just be the thoughtful friend who doesn't arrive empty-handed, I would highly recommend their platters.

Last week, I visited Paul's HOF for the first time. Not only was the fish and seafood amazing, but the service was both friendly and helpful. I purchased delicious sea bass with miso glaze, terrific shrimp and excellent lump crabmeat. I made Maryland style crab cakes and shrimp scampi. The sea bass was the best fish I've ever had. I'm generally reluctant to prepare fish and seafood at home but the quarantine forced me to get out of my comfort zone. If you want fresh and tasty fish and seafood, go to Paul's House of Fish.

I've been buying fish at this market for 35 years family owned and operated everything is by hand and fresh. That's the way you want it.

I saw several products that are harder to find here (hot pot broth, pho soup base, etc). We tried some soft bread from the bakery as well as egg tarts in different flavors which were both decent. We tried one of the hot food vendors once and ate there. The stand with the ducks and other meat hanging in the display case. I thought the meat was going to be hot, but it was basically room temp. Not sure if you're supposed to take it home and heat it up from this vendor or if they will warm it up for you on request. We tried the bbq spare ribs and roast pork belly, which had good flavor but would have been better hot. Would try the other vendors.

My previous experience couldn't happen againwell right as rain same Chinese guy cutting the meat tries to screw me on serving. It's double barbecue meat with side, but he for some odd reason wants to give me single. I'm not imagining it. I see every Asian person getting the correct portion ahead of me on line. I question the counter lady as she spoke to him in Chinese. Her eyes said it all, and she shrugged her shoulders. I shrugged mine too and left. What's going on 99 Ranch?
