The girls working here are always nice and polite. The only thing that I don't like is their kiosk system. There's only one kiosk which I found takes way longer to fumble through than going through the paper selection list. I feel like you can't customize your selections using the kiosk like how you can using the paper option. For instance, there's no way to split half sushi/half salad on the kiosk. It's either all or none. Technology is meant to make things less complicated for some folks in some instances but I'm old-school and I'll use the paper next time. Another word of advice is that you save the paper and reuse it again on your next order if you're the kind of person that orders the same combinations every time. I do recommend though that you use the paper to place your order.

For a large bowl with two scoops of protein, they give you a pretty good amount of food. Although a lot of their protein comes preseasoned with different flavors and so you got to mix it matched, but sometimes you have to be able to balance what the preseasoned flavors are with everything else. I wasn't expecting that at first, but I was still able to enjoy a nice lunch and be in and out within 5 minutes.

The salmon itself and crab salad were a little bland but the seaweed salad was good. The Thai iced tea was not good. It had a weird aftertaste and wasn't sweet. It tasted like it was made out of a premade powder mix. We didn't finish them and threw them away. It satisfies the craving, but it isn't the best poke we've had. If you're in the area it's a nice place, but there's better poke elsewhere.

It was a bit confusing and we felt rushed to get through the line in order not to hold up others. A few kiosks should be available for those of us who want to do it on our own. The staff is fine not overly friendly. Our bowl was full of 3 different fish that were fresh and flavorful. Their sauce selection is extensive but we found them to be balanced and added to our bowl. It isn't cheap 2 medium sized bowls were a little over $40 - but we felt good eating something more nutritious. We took our bowls to go rather then sit inside. Everything was fresh, the gluten-free options were clearly marked (thank you from my celiac soul), and the vibe was chill enough to make me forget I was eating at a food truck. We got the salmon roll and enjoyed it, which says a lot, because he said it as he was eating. I got the veggie roll which was fresh and delicious. We weren't able to have the sauce but used the wasabi and pickle ginger. So excited that this place exists. It also looks like there might be some ciders inside near the food trucks if you're interested and you're gluten-free. Twice, I've been here. Once to try it out, the second time to remember if I ate here before or not lol. Here's a bit about this Joy Pokè location. The place is small, but clean for the most part. You start by selecting from the menu board up above. Pick the size bowl you'd like; Small, medium, large. Plus a base; White or brown rice, salad, or half-n-half. Then select the little sides like crabmeat and avocado or seaweed salad (there's more options). Third, you pick the type of fish you want for your protein. More veggie extras, add sauces like ponzu or shoyu or spicy chili. Then you complete it with toppings of your choice as well; Corn, roasted garlic, onion, furikake, etc. My bowl was prepared by the same guy as the first time, who's probably the manager or owner. Who seemed polite, but didn't say much to help with the selections. No big deal regarding services. I ordered a Large Bowl for $19.99 and added a $3 tip. The container felt a bit heavy, but it also felt like a medium bowl for the price. It was that, two large scoops of rice, but you felt a bit shafted with the amount of poke given to compensate for the amount of rice. Suggestion: Add all the extras and toppings I guess. The taste was decent, but wasn't enough to make me wanna come back any time soon. It's worth a try if you haven't been here.
