I tried to get sea bass because the sign said it was on sale. The sign should not have been up
Matthew G.

Really not a good experience. It was nearly impossible to find parking, then I go inside and grab a few items (had to wait a long time at the seafood section, being completely ignored)... Take them to checkout, where only ONE register is open, but she is sitting there counting money so she can't ring anybody up. So, really, NO registers are open and available! So I decided to use self-checkout (had to give up on getting beer because of that), but then my piece of sea bass - which was listed at $5 member price - refused to ring up at the sale price, and instead came up at $11.99 (for a 3 oz piece!)... So I go back to the register, where there is now a woman with a bunch of groceries in front of me, also waiting for the money-counting to end. Two older ladies behind me grumble "This is just like Vons. And people complain, but they don't do anything about it." Now you've got a line blocking the aisles, and TWO other employees come over to the area, see the situation, don't open another register or do anything about it. Once I finally got through, the lady told me I was wrong about the sea bass since the price wouldn't register, so I told her to just remove it. (Turns out, they still had a sale sign up that expired 2 days ago) This place sucks.

I came here the other day while we were in town visiting my sister. It reminds me of a Safeway. Very nice establishment very clean atmosphere. We came here to pick up a few things the other day and I noticed right away. It reminded me a lot of the Safeway is back home and they even have their own Starbucks area, the staff working at the Starbucks is very friendly very helpful. Ravishment is very clean. Very large store with lots of different items to choose from. Definitely a very nice grocery store. I didn't realize they were owned by Albertsons until after reading at other peoples comments no wonder why it seems so familiar are used to work for Albertsons for almost 4 years in Arizona they don't only have groceries they have something for everybody. My experience here was amazing. Everybody was awesome and I like how my experience was here we even stopped by here we're driving home on Monday and I was able to get my Starbucks on the go only thing I didn't like was the cardboard straws lol other than that my coffee tastes perfect and the staff making it was awesome very friendly. Made me have a great experience. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone. They are awesome friendly and make killer coffee. I will definitely be coming back here again soon next time I'm in town thank you pavilions You guys are awesome Starbucks. You guys are awesome as well. You made some really good coffee love it. See you again soon :-)

Friendly and considerate staff. They all wore masks even before the face covering order came out. We always stop here on our way from Point Dume park. We get fruits, veggies, meats that are usually crisp and fresh here (natural/organic). Recently I asked a guy re-stocking diary shelves if they had alcohol. He replied, "We have an entire aisle of it!" I said, "Oh no! The medical, antiseptic alcohol!" - which we had been hunting for a month. He too had a short laugh under his mask, and instantly pointed at an empty bottom shelf, bent over there and pulled out a single remaining large bottle of 91% Isopropyl Alcohol! (Far more precious than Sparkling Wine.) Then he digged out another, the last one in stock, for my husband. They also have an excellent selection of Spectrum expeller pressed culinary oil bottles! (on attached photo).

Great full service grocery store located conveniently near Zuma Beach. Pick up beach essentials and sunscreen, beach chairs, drinks, water, chips, fruits etc here. Free ample parking. Restrooms in the back upstairs. Right along highway 1.

This store was absolutely beautiful, just as I expect every Pavilions to be. Things were well organized and clearly labeled. The staff were friendly and actually really got a kick out of seeing my lil one try and do some shopping of her own. We ordered some food from the hot cases and we sampled a few things from their cold salad case as well. Everything was tasty and the employees were very nice about letting us sample a few things. We found some fun items in the end caps of the various aisles. One of them was a sorta harder to find hot wheels car. They had a feature section at the store that showcased beach items. It was perfect for us as we needed an anchor and some sand castle building tools. We were able to find each of those for about $5 each. I felt like this store was a tad smaller than more of the other Pavilions that I'd been to but it was so nicely well kept and their parking was easy in their lot. I have no complaints.

Bookmarked for future trips near Malibu!…read more Stopped in for lunch and ordered the wings and the Wagyu double burger, and both were outstanding. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the wings were equally satisfying and crispy (they were able to make me some with no sauce). It was exactly the kind of meal I was hoping for after a full day at the beach and on the road. The location has plenty of parking, which is always a plus in this area, and there is a nice outdoor dining space in front where you can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while you eat. What really stood out was the customer service. One of the employees working near the deli area, I didn't catch his name, but I remember his distinctive earring and tattoos, provided exceptional service. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that customers had a great experience. The entire store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Even the restrooms were spotless, which says a lot about how well the business is managed. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be stopping back the next time I'm in the area.

Now imagine it costs twice as much as Whole Foods. Boom. The only reason why it's 3.5 on 5 is the exceptional customer service. Really really nice and down to earth staff. You'd only go there if you are a tourist or a local who doesn't want to drive to a decent grocery store. Everything is mediocre. Ingredients are not clean. There's a lot of variety, from cut fruits to breakfast burritos, baguettes to bagels, sandwiches to poke. Many of the wraps and sandwiches looked sad and dry. $12 for cut papayas and $19 for small cut mixed fruits (if you are thinking organic, nada conventional). It's still decent to pickup overpriced staples in a rush, convenience, but not for stocking up your kitchen. Will we be back, probably, since any other store in western Malibu is a minimum half hour commute.

I purchased the salad for myself and the Mac/Cheese for my niece. The cashier near the food & deli area was closed so I went to a regular checkout line. The customer care of the cashier was unwelcoming. I had to make her speak. I went to scan my Amazon code and she told me I wouldn't need it and proceeded to continue ringing up my items. I didn't think anything of it until she belted out over $40 total. She ignored that I told her I had a salad and still rang it all up as hot food. I didn't want to hold up her line so I got my receipt and change. I stepped aside and walked towards the eating utensils reviewed my receipt with my husband. I went back to tell her of the error. She had left her register or even better- maybe a manager noticed her rudeness and took her away. I knew the 2 coconut waters were $13. But being charged $28 for a hot meal in total when I had a small salad & small Mac/ch, ridiculous! She even saw the dressing and lettuce because I couldn't get the top closed securely. This is a lesson well learned! I'm not going to stop visiting this thriving shopping area not Whole Foods but I definitely will not go in the checkout line of this cashier. If the store did an audit of each cashier of May 25 between 11:30a and 2:00 pmand check for a charge for the aforementioned, they'll definitely pinpoint the clerk. I also got $40 cash back when I checked out. I can't write a description because it'll get flagged like the original post was. I had to delete the description of the employee. My rating would otherwise be a 5 but for her attitude, incompetence and lack of integrity. Everyone else and the whole vibe is awesome.

This store is like a combo of AJ's, Whole Foods, and other upscale markets...located in Calabasas so think pricey!!! They offer tons of organic, ethically-sourced foods, have a huge hot and cold area of fresh made foods. Their huge hot-food selection area had so many breakfast offerings to choose from. Their produce area is amazing and fabulous and the rest of the store offers so many varieties of upper scale products. It's expensive for sure but you get what you pay for! Everyone we encountered as we browsed and talked with were friendly, helpful, and really made the whole experience top notch! For breakfast we choose a few different things from the fresh food bar...bacon, potatoes, a slice of avocado toast and wife chose the baked sweet potato topped with an egg. So dang good and healthy and we felt so good not eating fast food! The avocado toast was the best I've had with smashed avocado topped with sliced hard-boiled egg and pea sprouts. The bacon was crispy and flavorful and the potatoes were great. I wish I would have taken more photos because they had so much to offer! Right off the 101 in Calabasas, this is a great break on a road trip and will satisfy anybody looking for a meal or snack. Came at around 2 pm on a weekday so was luckily able to find a parking spot and there was no line to order. If it's busy, good luck. Food was delicious and priced well. Tartar sauce was great, the cocktail sauce as well (and I don't normally like cocktail sauce). Filled me up great. Small clam chowder - 7/10 Pretty solid clam chowder. I probably wouldn't get it again, but the first few spoonfuls were great and very enjoyable. Some of the clam towards the bottom was more chewy which wasn't ideal. Got a bread roll as well and it came with oyster crackers. Spent roughly $30 total, around $20 on the shrimp basket and another $6-7 on the clam chowder. We've tried the grilled salmon in the past- and it's nicely cooked and tasty - but the star of the show is their fried offerings. What could be better than a crisply fried piece of cod with delicious fries overlooking the ocean? They do a better job frying fish than much more expensive places (looking at you Santa Monica seafood restaurant). The coleslaw is always fresh, and we also love the creamy chowder, chock full of clam bits. My one note is that they do not season their food so you need to add salt and pepper to everything. The coleslaw benefits from salt and a squeeze of lemon or a few drops of the malt vinegar on the table (also good with the fries of course). I'm not sure why they don't season their fish or batter - but maybe they figure it's best to keep it unsalted and people can add seasoning? There is also hot sauce on the table which adds the perfect zing to the chowder. The people who run the place are friendly and the place is especially popular on weekends. I'd recommend coming midweek either before or after peak lunch hours. Highly recommend.
