Terrible service! They are super slow and waste a lot of people's time. They don't know what th they are talking about. If you are looking to purchase a firearm from here make sure you don't walk in with a group of people or all you guys have to get a background check and ID check for one person to get the gun. I wrote a review two years ago and I haven't been back since. I decided I didn't want to drive to my normal pawnshop so I decided I'm gonna stop in and give it a chance .The manager jazz is definitely the worst manager I've ever dealt with and I've been dealing with this company for 20 years and I literally mean 20 years maybe even more. She has a major attitude every time I go in there which has caused me to drive past this place living in surprise to go all the way down to 67th Ave., where I have always had excellent service. Moments ago she offered me $130 for a firearm a Smith & Wesson CSX when probably a year and a half ago I sold one to the 67th Ave. store for 200 bucks. For the record she looked it up and said the last one they had sold for $300. That's an awful lot of profit for yourself. That margin is just not fair. Sorry to tell you. I told her I wasn't interested and I'm always having this problem with her and it's the attitude I'm talking about because through the communication she just had this massive attitude. Mind you she had just gotten into an argument with the customer right before me this is just how she is. She's all attitude. I said that I wasn't going to take the deal and I asked her to return my gun. She closed the box and slid it to me not in the holster and with the magazine sitting out to where I couldn't even close the box. I said that wasn't very professional, and she should have given it to me, the way I gave it to her and she started telling me not to come back to her store, this is poor business practice and it's the reason this place has such low reviews. She is on some type of trip and obviously very unhappy with her own life or she wouldn't treat people the way she does. Don't worry Lady I'm happy to never return to this location. I just sold my Asus laptop a few minutes ago and it started out well. In the midst of it I had to charge my laptop because it was dying the lady I got stuck with was middle aged and YT she didn't really give me any small talk which was fine I guess. but what really made pissed off is that she gave me papers to sign but didn't hand me them she just placed them on the table individually some papers were upside down and sideways. what made me livid was that when it was time to hand me the money I reached out for and she throw it down at me saying "mmm here you go" instead of placing it in my hand... i don't know if she has a problem but she needs to get retrained or something because that's not okay!!! that was soooo disrespectful!!!! read more

I've been in this place twice and utilizing pawnshops for 20+ years so I am familiar with how things go. The first time I went in I end up not pawning because the interest fees are too high. This second time I came in I ended up not pawning for the same reason. I was going to borrow $200 but it was going to cost $446 (26% interest) to get my stuff back. I would also like to add the store is very small, has a poor selection of merchandise and is lacking hospitality. They had the music up so loud for some reason. Another example was, when I came in I stood in line for a good little while, and then one of the employees asked me what I wanted to pond. I gave him my earrings, and he proceeded to check them mind you he never offered me a seat at his station I had to ask to sit down. They looked as if they had great products available from what I saw they had to offer. I paid almost fifty dollars for two used games and one was all finger printed up the other one was in great shape so thank you for doing such a wonderful job I am so thrilled for paying the that price for two games that I could of got at a different pawn shop for half the price you charged me! If you're thinking of pawning a gun here run away. Horrible service. They keep your gun for an extra week or two claiming it's an ATF hold when all they're doing is holding it longer so you pay more. I will never pawn anything here again. Lesson learned, the hard way. Beware of Roland. He is a filthy liar. They treat you great until you want your stuff back. I have purchased three guitars there and all they required was a basic set up, clean up and new strings and a tune up. All three were sold to me at a price I was happy with. As for the work I listed above, I do the same with new guitars I purchase. I would already owned another from them but let it set there to long and a savvy buyer snagged it. I will be back in there soon to buy another guitar because the perfect number of guitars to own is one more than you currently have. read more

If you can go somewhere else do it, your only wasting your time and gas. They undercut you by ALOT they are Telling people their stuff is of less value than it really is. This place pretty much wants expensive items for Penny's. You are better off going to young town pawn as they are nicer and actually give you what your item is worth. Don't settle for pawn 1st when there are better places to go and you get more cash. They employees are very rude they have no training in customer service, treat you like dirt and low ball you on your items. I used to like coming here till they got new staff. Because now the people who work there do not know what they are doing or how to treat a customer with mental illness. They all need sensitivity training BADLY!! read more

The only reason that this friendly pawn shop isn't getting 5 stars is not their fault, it's more due to the ongoing construction at Bell & Grand. If you're willing to go a little out of the way, this shop is totally worth the journey. They aren't huge, but they have quite a nice selection of items. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
