I have boarded my pups many times. I also take advantage of of the day care option. Prices are reasonable and the care is excellent.

    Every Doggie Has Its Daycare

I did a search online looking for a local dog daycare for my mom's German Shepherd. This was the…read moreclosest one I could find to her. It's located in Peoria, AZ which is northwest of Phoenix. It is near Bell Road and the 101 making it accessible for people like me traveling from nearby cities. The facility is in an industrial type zone. The building is sort of a large warehouse that is shared by several businesses. The backside has large garage type doors. I only know this because Google Maps led me to the back (south side) of the building initially. The map has been updated to hopefully prevent others from getting lost looking for the entrance which is on the northeast corner of the building. Every Doggie Has Its Daycare has applications online that you can download, print, and complete. The information provided online makes it easy for you to prepare for your first appointment. You'll need the latest copy of your dog's vaccination records including Bordetella. Plus, you will need the paperwork showing that your pet was spayed or neutered. Even though my dog has a tattoo indicating that she was spayed, the paperwork was required. I appreciate that the business has high standards and requests these records. It lets me know that patrons of the business care for their dogs and that my dog will be in a healthy and safe environment. Before allowing your dog to use their services, you will need to schedule a free, 3-hour temperament test. This allows the staff to assess your dog's energy level and comparability with other dogs. Based on this, your dog will be paired accordingly for future play groups. Please note, some dog breeds are not allowed due to insurance policies of the business. While the facility does not offer a webcam remotely or on site, the staff do actively take and post photos of the dogs on the business Instagram and Facebook pages. They post pictures pretty much every hour and try to capture every new dog entering the facility during that hour. Once your paperwork is in order, the temperament test has been completed, and your dog has been approved for services, you can start bringing them to daycare or make appointments for boarding services. Daycare doesn't require advanced bookings. I love that you can bring your dogs in and drop them off at the spur of the moment for a half or full day of play. This is so convenient for those days when you have extra work or maybe aren't feeling well enough to give your dog the exercise and attention he or she needs. My dog needs socialization on a weekly basis. She hangs out with humans daily all day, but benefits from the play and mental stimulation she gets from daycare. She always comes home relaxed and tired from her time at the facility. The facility is temperature controlled so your dog can safely enjoy play during the hot summer and cooler winter days. They do have access to an outdoor area too. It has high walls, so there is no chance of escape. You can pre-purchase packages of half day or full day passes to daycare. So far, I have just been paying as I go which is also acceptable. It's about a $40 saving if you buy the package, but you have to use it within 90 days. They take all credit cards. It's important to note that late pickups will be charged $1 per minute! That's a good incentive to make sure you arrive before they close at 7pm during the weekdays to collect your dog from daycare. I've booked a boarding reservation during the holidays. There is a deposit required during this time period because of the increased demand for services. They ask that you bring your dog's food measured out for each meal in ziplock bags. They provide everything else your dog needs for the overnight stay, but you are welcome to bring your dog's bed or blanket that provides familiar smells and will help your dog adjust easier. Also included in boarding is daycare. There is no extra charge for this ensuring your dog gets lots of exercise during the day so she can get a good night of sleep too. I'm delighted that I found this business. The staff have been super friendly in-person and on the phone. Their website has detailed information so you can get your questions answered, but call or stop by if you need additional information. I'm certain you will get the details you need and feel assured in your decision to leave your furry family member in their care.

Unfortunately, after everything we experienced, we ultimately decided to cancel our boarding…read morereservation and take our dogs elsewhere. We had planned to board our dogs for multiple days in a private accommodation together, and leading up to their stay, we worked closely with Elijah. He was absolutely amazing--helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew exactly which vaccinations our dogs needed so we could coordinate everything with our veterinarian and get their temperament test scheduled. We initially felt very confident about choosing this facility because of our experience with him. We ended up needing to change the temperament test to a different day and time at the last minute, and the new appointment was confirmed with us. We specifically arranged for a babysitter for our baby so that we could bring both dogs in. When we arrived, however, it immediately felt like we were a bother. Because another dog was in the lobby, we had to wait outside with our dogs on the hot sidewalk. When we were finally able to go to the front desk, Camryn told us we did not have an appointment. Thankfully, I had the messages showing that the appointment had, in fact, been confirmed. They were ultimately able to complete the temperament test, and Caitlyn was the complete opposite of the experience we had at the front desk. She took our dogs back for their test, was incredibly kind, and did not make us feel like we were an inconvenience whatsoever. She handled the scheduling miscommunication professionally even though it clearly was not our mistake, and we really appreciated her attitude and the way she treated us and our dogs. Unfortunately, the issues continued after that. We received several different pricing quotes for our dogs' stay, and the numbers repeatedly did not add up or match what we had previously been told. Four days later, I called again specifically because I wanted clarification on the total. I was given yet another incorrect amount before eventually being told, "Oh, I'm sorry, it's actually going to be this," with another price. At that point, between the appointment confusion, Camryn's attitude, and the repeated inaccurate pricing, we simply lost confidence in leaving our dogs there for several days. When you are trusting a business with your pets, you need to feel confident that the staff is organized, knowledgeable, and able to clearly communicate something as basic as your reservation and what you are going to be charged. What was especially disappointing was Camryn's overall demeanor throughout our interactions. She consistently seemed bothered by our questions and our presence rather than willing to help resolve issues that were coming from miscommunication on their end. After receiving multiple incorrect quotes, it also left us feeling like we could not confidently rely on the information we were being given. Elijah and Caitlyn were both wonderful and deserve recognition for how kind and professional they were. Unfortunately, the repeated misinformation and our interactions with Camryn outweighed those positive experiences. Ultimately, we did not feel comfortable trusting a facility with our dogs for multiple days when we couldn't even feel confident that our appointment and pricing information were being handled correctly, so we canceled our reservation and chose to board elsewhere.

For dog sitting, in our home, we've used Michelle several times now and she is great. Our 3 dogs love her and she clearly loves them too. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. I appreciate the freedom Kristie and Michelle offer us to get away several times a year. I completely trust them. Give them a shot!
