Our dog Nellie is a foster with a nervous personality, she's not your average easy going pup. It's hard to trust anyone with her because it takes a different level of skill and she could bite another dog if put in the wrong situation. When we met Riley it was the biggest relief, she was so up for the challenge. She even worked with our dog's current trainer on her own time to learn more about what Nellie (and other dogs) needed to be successful - how amazing! She uses a great app when walking so you get an email once the walk is completed showing where they went, if your dog pooped/peed and sometimes even a cute photo that will make you smile! We have no worries when we're gone that Riley has everything under control. She is one of the few people we trust with our pup :)

I later talked to an employee van driver and he told me and my husband the dogs are kept in the garage in kennels, the bigger dogs are kept in the van in the garage with no air or ventilation AND-where it is dark. We were appalled and horrified. We called the Newport Beach Animal Control and found out Island Pooch doesn't even have a boarding license. Please do your research before you use ANY animal boarding. Island Pooch is definitely untrustworthy and does not care for animals if this is how they are boarding them.

I have allowed her to massage my dog without input from me as to how I think my dogs feeling that day and again have witnessed her finding an area of concern and address it, completely on her own, for which I am so grateful. I personally love that she is not all banners and fanfare. The modesty of her abilities is so appreciated.
