As for kennel cough, I can only say I've been at the front desk when the front desk asked a patron for updated records as they dropped off a dog and when the person said they didnt have them, they replied with "that's ok just send them when you can." That shows they dont pay attention to vaccines in great enough detail. The response shouldn't been, "then your dog can't be dropped off until we get those records." We saved money on boarding in comparison to other places but spent $1000.00 on a vet bill for kennel cough.

Received a call from John with the Heroes Lawn Care (Southlake) who saw my original review ,and he was willing and happy to make things right, even though my review was intended for the North Central Dallas branch, and our residence was outside of his service area (not by much). John honored the price and his technician came out the next business day to do the service. He did a great job and he even power blowered all the soil cores off of the driveway, which he stated is something they do for all of their aeration customers. He offered advice as to the next step for our front yard bare patch. John followed up with a call after the service was completed. We appreciate going the extra mile for us, John. Since switching to EarthWise, we couldn't be happier. They always do an amazing job, everyone is incredibly kind, and Caitlin has my big fluffy guy looking his best in about two hours. I should have written this review a year ago, but what finally prompted me to do it was an experience I had recently with one of my foster dogs. He's a 5-month-old puppy who had spent his entire life tied outside on a rope, so he was absolutely terrified of leashes and unfamiliar places. He would plant his feet and refuse to move. At 55 pounds, he's already a strong boy! I managed to get him close to the front door, but he simply would not go inside. The staff was unbelievably patient and compassionate. They brought out treats to encourage him, but when he was too scared to take them, they never rushed him or forced the situation. Instead, they gave him the time and space he needed to feel as comfortable as possible. When it became clear he wasn't going to walk in on his own, they gently picked him up and carried him inside so he could get his bath. After he was all cleaned up, they refused to let me pay. That level of kindness and empathy meant so much to me--and even more to a puppy who had already had such a rough start in life. I would have happily paid extra for the care they showed him. Businesses like this deserve to be recognized, and I will continue to support EarthWise and recommend them to anyone looking for groomers who truly care about both pets and their people.

My dog became an International Champion from their self-dog bath. Nicole knows a lot about nutrition. Bridgett is clear and nice when you get to know her. Their pale yellow shampoo at the self bath and coconut oil helped my dog's skin improve (due to hormone imbalance), it may come and go or gone but their mild shampoo works far better than my show line shampoo. My dog has not had skin issue for over 6 months :) I'm pleased with this store.

Instead, I felt brushed off and treated like my interest didn't matter. They lost a paying customer that day -- and I now know where not to take my dog.

Being that this is a fact, we try to get our boy blown out at least once a month to help remove the under coat as much as possible to help him with temperature regulation. We have a regular veterinarian…read morearound the corner from us in Aubrey, but I felt with his cough that we couldn't get under control warranted a specialist. Boy was I wrong. So $1500, several x-rays, a whole gamut of tests, an Aerokat spacer, and several expensive asthma meds later, he wasn't getting better. Took him to a third vet two weeks later in Little Elm who saved our furbaby. Ended up being positive for mycoplasma and had 6 weeks of Doxycycline along with a simultaneous 4 weeks of Prednisolone, a cortico-steroid. He was doing the exact same coughing and lurching in YouTube videos. Mycoplasma is the one test she did not do and after reading numerous research papers and discussion with our new Vet, it should have been one of the first tests she did. His inflammation in his lungs was due to months of suffering from the mycoplasma. The office is nice, but supposedly for such a gentle and "calm" environment, the Vet Tech speaks in her highest voice and our Siamese would jump every time she raised her voice. To make it more uncomfortable, Dr. Mark wouldn't even touch our boy. A healthy purebred sweet and gentle Chocolate-point Siamese and she acted like she didn't want to touch him. I was quite offended. The techs that run the front desk were really sweet. Not enough to ever bring us 38 miles back to Southlake from home. It's really bewildering how a newer Veternarian figured out what a longtime cat specialist missed.

Speaking with the staff...they are definitely friendly and respectful for the animals coming to their practice, but they should have told us they didn't have much experience with prairie dogs. I feel like it was a wasted visit of almost an hour drive one way to be told I know more about my prairie dog than the veterinarian. Expensive visit which would have been worthwhile if we had any type of answers. Sad visit.

Over the last 18 months we have had one crazy thing happen after another, it started with a new…read morepuppy and my vet of 20 years couldn't get us in. For new puppy wellness check. So we somehow lucked into finding Dr. Daugette at City Vet Keller. I know that City Vet is a chain, but Dr. D is far from being a chain veterinarian. She has been there for us at every turn, from ear infections to surgeries, life-threatening diseases to random agencies they are texting us on the weekends, answering emails late on a Saturday night, to conferring with specialist to seek possible answers when they seem like there were none. Our dog was diagnosed with a rare disease that took the life of her sister a few short years ago. I also lost my very first dog to this disease never believing that any dog could come back from it, because it just was so terrible. Each dog was treated and each dog eventually passed away. However, this time was different. She sought out specialists. She tried all different kinds of options and not only is our dog off most of the the medication's now. They really difficult on her body, but at 11, her numbers are back now in the normal range and it is nothing short of a miracle! We have a dog that is diabetic on two shots a day. We have a dog that has attacked our other dogs, and she has taken care of our babies like they were her own. We had a dog that had to be rushed into emergency surgery and if not for their care, she would no longer be with us. My husband and I got together late in life and we're not able to have a baby, so our dogs are the family that we loved dearly. This place has the vest vibes. The staff from the moment you walk in the door they are just different. They remember all of our dog's names and are excited to see them when they come. I can honestly say they treat them like they were their own. I trust Dr, D her advice and recommendations 100% without hesitation. She is always willing to work with us and explore any and all options, she spends time with you in the examination room, and we feel like her and the team there at City Vet are part of our extended family. I left my bed that I had been moved for 20 years because never and all this time have I ever been as cared for as we feel as City Vet Keller. If you are looking for a place that cares more about people and pets than make an appointment and you will see for yourself I promise. The last 18 months have been pretty awful in terms of how many doctor visits we have had to make and org /ical I/ situations emergency and otherwise it has been a huge financial investment, but all of our children a.k.a. puppies are still alive and kicking... even thriving! I know in my heart that bat is due to the team at City Vet Keller and the incredible Dr Daugette, hopefully I'm spelling that correctly. We cannot thank you enough through all the past 18 months from the laughs, to tears, over active Expression glands and all the stressful moments in between. You have supported us each step of the way going above and beyond what anyone else has ever done and I cannot thank you enough! This is the best experience paws down! However, on Tuesday morning Mandy woke up not feeling well at all and wouldn't eat nor drink and barely moved around the home so I took her to the vet to be checked out. The vet noted she had been shaved by the groomer the day before and ran bloodwork. The bloodwork came back fine not showing anything so the vet sent us home advising me to bring Mandy back in if her situation got worse, which it did. By Thursday, my son noticed Mandy irritated on her back where she often kept sniffing/trying to lick at. On Friday she did it in front of me so when I tried barely touching the spot on her back where she was obviously irritated, Mandy yelped extremely loud in pain and jumped across the room. I immediately took her back to the vet to have the vet look under her short coat of hair so she can see what was irritating her and she instantly found the issue that had been plaguing Mandy since earlier in the week "POST-GROOMING FURUNCULOSIS INFECTION" from Katie's UNCLEANED RAZOR she used to cut Mandy per the vet (see attached pics). I text Katie immediately advising her of this situation asking her to do the right thing and reimburse me for the cut & Mandy's medical bills this week. Not only did Katie not admit her error, she is now refusing to reimburse the full amount I had to pay to save my dog!! (see attached text messages) She actually had the nerve of contacting my vet to try to find any excuse to worm her way out of this mess she created. So I am now taking her to court to get reimbursed for Mandy's vet bills, her meds to recover, her cut, my time wasted, and court costs. I will tell anyone I can to please reconsider using this groomer for their pet. She is not accountable, doesn't clean her tools that she reuses, and extremely unethical by trying to swindle info from my dog vet for an excuse. When we go to court she will definitely see my dogs medical notes though. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS GROOMER IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THIS FROM HAPPENING TO YOUR FUR BABY!!!

From day 1, VIP impressed me with their level of communication and organization. Their online client portal is easy to navigate and great for checking your schedule, pets info, etc. Nancy, their Director of Client Relations, is incredibly detail oriented, great at follow up, and actually does what she says she will do (a rarity in this day and age!). Our assigned sitter, Amber, took amazingly good care of our pups. Her communication was stellar and I felt the entire time that it wasn't "just a sitter" there watching our pups, it felt like a family member was taking care of them. I truly felt like she treated them like her own and couldn't have asked for anything more. If you're searching for a pet sitter I HIGHLY recommend VIP. You will not be disappointed.

Another wonderful visit, I can't imagine having a better doctor for my fur children…read more Colonel Bartholomew Whiskers, was a bit stressed during his visit and everyone made sure they were extra sensitive when it came to their interactions with him. Dr. Hartland is a gift, a true gift to our fur babies! You can tell she has such a passion for what she does, she cares for every fur baby she treats. Also, I'll admit, it's nice to take my kiddos to a vet that specializes only in cats. Walking into a clinic where the barking can be overwhelming for our cats, this isn't an issue at Hartland. The visit was affordable and I had no complaints. The staff, again, was wonderful and full of energy. Because Colonel was such a sweet boy, he was given a little toy and shares the fun time with his sisters. Thank you, Dr. Hartland and staff!

My 5 year old ragdoll had to have a teeth cleaning and extractions and they did a great job. It would've been a lot more expensive elsewhere I'm sure.
