My older husky sometimes gets hot spots and they will use a calming oatmeal wash on him instead of a perfumes shampoo to help soothe his skin. My younger husky has some separation anxiety so they work with me to schedule them appropriately to minimize stress on the little guy. I saw a mobile grooming van parked outside my apartment today and decided to call. My dog hasn't been groomed in years. It was a very impulsive decision but I wanted her hair short because she sheds and it's getting warmer and warmer outside. So it was an easy appointment to set up. We brought our two dogs here for baths on a weekday without an appointment. Paws and Suds were able to give the dogs a great bath at reasonable rates, which is much appreciated when you have two dogs. A few days later both my dogs still smell great. My dogs have double coats which means they are impossible to dry and shed a ton of hair, especially after a bath. I'm not sure what Paws and Suds did to them, but I have noticed since their baths both dogs are shedding less than usual. read more

Very unprofessional over priced dog didn't even smell clean. My moms dog came home sick laying around VERY lethargic. He didn't even come on command as he always does or want treats which he is VERY motivated for as is any other dog. He had so many episodes of vomiting diarrhea, it was to many to count. When we contacted the groomers he said nothing was given to my dog, which makes no sense because there was chucks of human food in his vomit. I work in a vets office and this doesn't just happen over night. In the grooming place there also was a sick cat laying around in the lobby, which as far as I know should be isolated if sick. read more

His salons are spotless, he does fabulous work is kind to me and gentle, we aren't placed in cages until our parents pick us up so it isn't stressful, like when we go to the vet! I went to this place last year when I went to visit some friends and we took our fur babies to play and lets be honest there is no clean pups after running in the park, so this is how it started it all came thru google when i was looking for a place that was open at that time to save my life so i found it, called and they were able to accommodate me in the same day, wich now i know i was lucky that day because they require an appointment so i went met a lady who i believe is the owners sister in law, she was very nice, polite and professional i just asked for a bath so my baby didnt came back home all smelly, so the lady did an amazing job, i have to mention that their prices are super affordable and very well done job for the money that i paid for so i was super happy for my baby, when he came back to me he was wagging his tail and happy ohh and it was clean normally he smells fast when not well bathe but i can tell you they are truly amazing and i would recommend them to everyone so if you are in the area or live near by i suggest you to give them a try, Thank you so much guys xoxox read more

My reason for 1 star is not for the groomer, but for the older lady assisting her. I took my puppy there and there was the groomer and an older woman (I'm assuming it might be the groomer's mom?). The groomer was very nice, but when i went to pick up my puppy, the older lady is very rough. My puppy was on the floor and she grabbed and picked him up so roughly by his little arms. He is only 6 pounds. It was so scary. I peeked at the back and saw a dog growling at her. Then what sealed the deal was when she told me that he wouldn't sit still while they were cutting his hair in his face so they "had to use force". I will never return, that made me so nervous and scared to ever bring my dog there. read more

I was in a jam to find a groomer in a hurry since my dog was being spayed in 2 weeks and had the worse matting. Willie answered my questions so quickly and thoroughly that it put me at ease as a new client. They were able to book us for the following a Saturday and we were the first appointment. They did a phenomenal job! So good in fact when my dog came out I asked whose dog was it and was looking for my dog! He walked so proudly down the street walking home, I swore I heard the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack ! Their rates are reasonable and they take good care and call you if any changes occur. They open at 10:30 even though Yelp has 9:30. There is a good crepe shop next door if you have to wait. They seem to have 3 locations and a mobile grooming van - no Hoboken service for the van though (there's no Hoboken parking) . At first I was satisfied with the service from this groomer because of my yorkie was groomed well. It wasn't until about a month later when the problems started. My dog does not live or spend any time with any other dogs. My dog now has Ringworm after visiting this groomer. I will not be going back here and will continue to take my dog to Petsmart. It is not worth saving $10 to now have vet bills to worry about. I also paid to have my dog's nails cut, which was not done. The vet noticed the long nails when my dogs ringworm was initially being checked out. Very disappointed, the owner really is nice, but I guess not too clean if Ringworm is going around the salon.;( read more

Have been to other places and hazel (baby) always had a look like she had been thru hell in these other spots but here she doesn't respond that way. I've been bringing my Toy Fox Terrier, Foxy, to Paws and Suds for about 2 years now and they are by far the best at what they do. I've had dogs my entire life and have had some bad experiences at other shops but with this shop it has always been a good experience. Their prices are affordable, the shop is super clean, they do what they say they are going to do, not once have I been disappointed. Foxy races up to Elva her groomer wagging her tail when we get there which tells me she treats her well. Elva usually does his grooming and has always been spot on. The wash setup they have is great too. Everything you need is right there and it's very reasonably priced. I've been going to Willie for months now, he does such a great job with both my dogs, even the one with the not so great temper. He keeps his shop very clean and I always feel my dogs are safe when I drop them off with him. As for grooming, he does a phenomenal job and completely evens out the fur very well. What a terrible experience. Very unfortunate since I have come here twice before. They are inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for. Also very tiny cramped place. Had called three times over three weeks to make an appointment.zero return calls. Tried one more time and finally someone picked up so I made an appointment. Went on the day of my appointment and they were clearly not ready for my dog. Put my dog on a chain in a room with three other dogs, even though I have told them in the past , and in person that my dog isn't the best with other dogs. Nevertheless he seemed fine, I asked the owner the last two times we put him directly on the bath. Same he needed to check what he did last time . Couldn't find any records which is possible since he had the wrong dog name and owners name. He proceeded to do nothing but argue with me. Very very bad attitude.
